It took a week of near-constant work but we managed to make a spell matrix that should allow me to infiltrate Hel unnoticed. Once we activated the spell I landed in Hel and activated Perfect Unknowable. After a while of no response, I moved to the only living thing in this place. I deactivated my invisibility and made myself known to Hela.

Hela: "Have I gone completely mad or is there a living being here?"

Rio: "I assure you I am very real and I have come here to negotiate with you. I need passage to Valhalla without dying. Thus I need a token of passage from you."

Hela: "You're real. It has been so long since I last talked to someone. What would a fellow god need in Valhalla? And yes I can tell you are no mere mortal. I know something has happened in Valhalla as I can feel the souls of the dead scream out in pain before ceasing."

Rio: "I pursue the World Eater Alduin the first born of Akatosh. He has fled to the realm of the dead to devour the souls of the dead to increase his power so he may devour this incarnation of the universe."

Hela: "If you speak the truth then I have no reason to stop you. Unfortunately, I am very weakened, and creating a token would likely send me into a deep slumber. Therefore I need something from you. What can you offer me in exchange?"

Rio: "I can offer you information. If you let me I can impart to you the knowledge of everything that has happened since your imprisonment as well as a method you could use to weaken this seal. I do not know everything that has occurred since your sealing but I do know many things that have happened."

Hela: "I find it unlikely you know of a method to weaken this seal. If you did why offer to do so yourself?"

Rio: "2 reasons. 1 I am not strong enough. 2 if I did so Odin would come personally to reinforce the seal and likely kill me while he was at it. Also, he would find the weaknesses in his wards and fix them making it impossible for me to return here."

Hela: "Hmm, fine I accept your reasons. How would you give me this info?"

Rio: "I just need to tap your forehead and the memories will be imparted. But before that happens we must sign a contract so neither of us break our words."

Hela: "And how do you expect me to sign a contract? I am not exactly able to move my limbs freely."

Rio: "It just needs you to drop a single piece of your blood on the contract and then you must verbally say you are signing the contract."

Hela: "Sigh. Fine. Let's get this over with."

I make up the contract and allow her to read it and when she finishes she signs it. I do so right after. Once it is signed and the contract is activated I impart the knowledge she seeks. Once she recovers she uses what little power she has to create a small metal coin that can be used to travel to and from Valhalla at will. So long as you are doing so from the gates of Valhalla. As Hela said she immediately fell into a deep slumber and I quickly vacated the area.

'Okay now I am out and the spell we used is deactivated. Now let's see if Odin comes to investigate.'

I see Odin but not in his physical form.

'It seems he is taking the treaty seriously.'

Odin goes to Hela looks around, finds nothing, and chooses to leave. Once he is gone I go back to where we set up the spell matrix.

Rio: "I am back and I got the token."

Sendak: "Sigh. Thank goodness. Now comes the troublesome part."

I hand the token to Sendak and he scans it and looks disappointed which I scowl at.

Sendak: "Sorry but it is only useable for one being. Moreover, you won't be able to summon any of us to Valhalla to help. The only one you might be able to summon is Durnehviir. And even he will be ejected from Valhalla after a certain period of time."

Rio: "I know my limits. Alduin has been feasting on the souls of the dead for almost 2 months now. If it were just mortals then I wouldn't be too worried but Valhalla and the nearby realms have god souls in them. With his invulnerability, he most likely has devoured most of those souls. His strength would have increased massively."

Paarthunax: "You are correct Dovahkiin. Alduin would have healed from his injuries and grown in power by now. But we cannot allow him to fight us in this reality. The damage caused would be too great."

Rio: "I will go to Valhalla and see how strong he has become. Then I think I will wait another week for when I can do some Gacha rolls to hopefully get a disposable Temp Summon. If that fails then I will buy a Temp Summon. I will let them fight it out and that should weaken Alduin."

Sendak: "Hmm, probably the best chance we have currently."

Everyone agrees with my plan and I move to the gates of Valhalla and use the token to open the gates. Once I fully manifest in Valhalla I use Perfect Unknowable to hide myself. What I see is a deep purple mist that has invaded the entire realm. I move through the realm looking for any survivors but see none. I find Alduin and see he is sleeping. What worries me though is his much higher power level.

'If I had to put a figure on it I would say his power has tripled since we last fought. I couldn't defeat him even with all our Thu'ums combined. There is no way I can defeat him by myself or with only Durnehviir's assistance. If the worst-case scenario happens I will use Trigon to kill Alduin.'

I continue to look through Valhalla and eventually, I find a destroyed area where a great battle seems to have taken place. I find many weapons and artifacts and I decide to take them. I eventually find a relatively intact place and I find one person left in a sealed-off area full of runes. I observe who this person is.

Buri is the first king of Asgard. He is currently in a magical trance that makes it impossible to be observed by beings of a certain strength. He is the last Asgardian in Valhalla. His son lead an army of all the gods and souls left in Valhalla with the assistance of other afterlives to kill Alduin. The attack failed to destroy Alduin but managed to injure him permanently. A single weakpoint near Alduins Heart has been made by using the divine powers of all the gods. Due to the nature of his spell, he is weakened greatly and can be easily killed by even a mortal. Has no opinion of you as he has never heard of you.]

'Hmm, I guess I will leave him alone since he must have a plan. What really interests me is this weakpoint that has been made. That should make my fight just a little bit easier. I think I remember an arrow that could kill anything if it was unarmored. Black Rose or Sithis Arrow, something like that. It should be too hard to discover what it is.'

I used my Palantir to see the wound that I learned about and confirmed its existence. I look around a bit more before deciding to leave. I didn't want to risk Alduin learning that I knew where he was hiding. I return to our magical research facility in Sanctuary.

Sendak: "You have returned. What did you find?"

Rio: "I confirmed Alduin is in Valhalla. I also confirmed he has grown in power. At least by triple. Somewhat luckily the gods of the afterlife worked as one to try and kill Alduin and when that failed they managed to injure him permanently. Near his heart, there is an unprotected spot that has no armor."

Simon: "An Achilles Heel. Are we still going to go through with the plan you suggested earlier?"

Rio: "Yes, even with that weakness it won't matter much if he can just ignore the damage. His life force right now is high enough he can ignore a certain amount of lethal damage. I still need something to weaken him and make him lose some of his gathered power."

Sendak: "If that is the case then you will need to do some intense training to be ready for your battle."

Paarthunax: "Indeed. Your Thu'um needs to be refined."

Rio: "Then I shall accept your teachings."

Authors Note:

Hela will not be a major character but she may break free before Odin dies. Alduin is much stronger now but his strength will be reduced to slightly stronger than his first battle. If you are curious how Rio can tell how strong Alduin is the answer is that he is using Ki Sense to determine how much life force he has. The next chapter will be Gacha. Until next time Ciao.
