"I heard the DEED's group would be resuming next week ."
Someone whispered at the front seat opposite mine . I felt a shiver ran down my spine when I heard the name . We call them the DEED's group because they always have something terrible to do . They were infact everyone's nightmare, so pray never to cross path with them . Most especially their leader , Damien .
I thanked my stars that we were not studying the same thing . My neighbor pulled my hands when she saw I was staring into the space motionlessly. I looked at her gratefully and returned back to the book I was reading .
"We won't cross path with them ,don't worry ." She whispered in my ears .I chuckled at her determination.
"Mm." I nodded .

Before going to the caf for dinner ,I quickly went to the bathroom and had my bath before it gets to crowded after supper . I always do this to avoid unwanted embarrassment and taunts . You know ... with girls and their groups .
I changed into my PJ and followed Priscilla my neighbor. I later learnt her name was Priscilla. She seems like a nice girl ,so we tagged along to the caf .
"Do you have any nigh activities you do before going to bed ?" She asked as we ate our food.
"Night activities?" I mused . I don't think I have one . At home I pray then watch movies with my mom and go to bed after that . Nothing else .
"I'm not sure ." I shook my head .
"You don't have ?" She looked amused and surprised like .. where the hell do I came from ? and I looked back innocently. She later smiled and said .
"You can join me in mine ." She listed out all the things she does every night both at home and in school. I just folded my hands under my chin and stared at her listing them out .
"Really?" I asked bewildered when she was through, " you do all this ?" She nod . I shrugged and replied," I only watch movies and sleep."
Funny enough she burst out laughing at my response. I looked at her and returned back to my food.

The school's curfew was 10 pm . Anyone found loitering would receive detention. I took out my tab as I wasn't feeling sleepy and started watching the heaps of movies I downloaded back at home .
The night was cool and airy and I quickly felt sleep invading my senses so I dropped the tab on my bedside table and rolled over to sleep .
The next morning I woke up as usual and did my things . I came out at the same time with my neighbor as she too was locking her door . We smiled and waved as a greeting and together we went for our breakfast.
"How was your night ?" She asked me as we walked to our class .
"Good and nice ." I said covering my mouth while yawning.
"Watching movies ?" She asked coyly . I smiled at the question and nod .
"The curfew is 10 pm ," she said with her hands on her waist ," sleep at that time or else ..." Her eyes narrowed playfully.
I nod and saluted her 'yes ma ' with a smile . We entered the classroom and settled down for the day's work.

Few weeks into the academic session,we were called out together at the school's hall for a brief meeting with the principal.
" Good students of bethmoris." She greeted us .
" Discipline is the key ." We respond back .
" I'm happy you all have resumed in good health and I'm also happy with the outcome of your tests ." Some students started murmuring among themselves so she raised her hands to hush them and continue.
" Attending the upcoming bonfire doesn't mean you should misbehave . We set it so that you all could gather together and relate with each other. Both the old students and the new students,the seniors and the juniors alike ..." She looked stern for her next comment .
