BOUND 'A game of love and power'

"It's not a time for you to drink and drink to stupor. Anyone found doing such would go on detention."

Murmurs started raising , most especially from the second to the finals and the final year students .

Someone spoke from the back , " excuse me , Mrs Boxer ," it was Damien, the ring leader of the DEED's group, " why is drinking allowed when you know we could drink to stupor?... or are the teachers also involved?" He grinned .

I gasp at the audacity of his question . I quickly looked back towards our principal. She looked like some stretched balloons ready to go off due to excess heat . The question was not funny but his team members were giggling behind covered mouth .

" To my office now Damien ." She thundered and left the hall . After listening to other informations and announcements ,we despaired back to our various classrooms .

Damien followed the principal to her office ,he walked as if he has no fear in the world . And of course he has non .

" What was that question supposed to mean ?" Mrs Boxer asked with fury as soon as they entered her office and sat down .

Damien being the naughty boy he was ,snaked his hands into his pockets and stared at her confusedly .

"Huh ,which question?"

The principal's eyes flared but she tried as much as possible to contend it . He was one of her best students and he's father is an important figure to them . So important.

"Were you supposed to throw that kind of question in front of your juniors?, what kind of examples are you laying down for them to follow ?." She reprimanded him .

Damien hissed and ruffled his hair ," they can follow whatever way they chose - jeez Mrs Boxer,they are no longer kids . Don't forget you don't leave with them at home ."

The woman nodded and took in a deep breath, " I won't accept this kind of display if you ever try it again."

He gave her a sly smile and rocked his heels , " yes ma ." He chuckled and left .

" This boy ." Mrs Boxer muttered and rubbed her forehead. He always gave her a headache.

Damien came out of the office and met his friends who were busy cracking jokes .

"Man, you rock it again." Elias playfully punched his shoulder when he drew closer to them .

" You always get on Boxer's nerves ," Elizabeth giggled," try to lower the temperament." She sighed softly .

"You all talk about Damien ," Daniel butted in . He wants to act like the saviour , "what about Liza and what she did to the history teacher last week Wednesday in the class ."

They all burst out laughing at the memory. Elizabeth doesn't looked bothered at all ,like she didn't do anything . To her she was only trying to state her views . The history teacher was giving an instance using Bethmoris, and she being an indigene of Bethmoris tried to correct the man of the statement he made which later resulted in argument.

The man told her to continue the class and annoyingly left and up till the very moment ,he never came back . Saying that he won't lecture their class anymore unless Elizabeth graduates . It was a big issues for the principal and in order not to cause any unnecessary disturbance, she looked for another history teacher for their class .

"Who cares ." Elizabeth rolled her eyes .

"C'mon guys I'm running out of gas here ." Damien said to his friends as he marched forward . They followed him to the caf to have their lunch .

"What activities are we to organize for the bonfire ?" Elias asked as they sat down for their lunch .

"Whatever that comes to your mind that very day ." Damien replied ,his eyes roaming around the cafeteria.

"I see ... some new students haven't been taught on how to act . " He said as he caught sight of some junior students eyeing their table . He slowly turned towards Elizabeth with an arched brow. She got the idea and stood up .

"Hi ," Elizabeth greeted as she reached the supposed student's table . Picking up one of the occupant's food ,she tilted it sideways and the whole contents poured to the floor .

"Oops ." She gasped .

"I didn't mean to ," she looked so innocent that you would think it wasn't intentional," I was only trying to have a taste of the food ." She shrugged and turned around and left .
