"Come on! You bastards," Mader yelled. "If it weren't for the magnanimity of the warden, I would have beaten you bastards to death."
"Boy, if you dare to cause trouble in the dark room, your legs will be broken!" another guard warned.
After the four prisoners were escorted out of Yang Chi's office, several of the escorting guards cursed. The behavior of the four people in the office had really infuriated these prison guards. If it weren't for Yang Chi's strict order not to harm these prisoners, they would have taken action long ago. However, the four prisoners did not respond to the guards' threats. Compared to the prison guards' abuse, they were more concerned about Yang Chi's smile. The young warden's smile seemed a bit malicious, no matter how you looked at it.
Soon, the four prisoners were escorted to the west wing of the prison. To Wang Lide's surprise, the west area, which he remembered as abandoned, had been repaired. As Yang Chi indicated, after passing through a dark corridor, a huge iron door appeared in front of them. Above the door was the word "0". "Is this Room 0? How long did it take for the prison to build such a place?" Wang Lide wondered as he looked at the door. Just as he was thinking, the screen next to the door suddenly lit up, and Yang Chi's head appeared on it.
"Thank you for your hard work, Captain Wang. Now unlock their shackles and lock them in," Yang Chi ordered.
"Yes, Warden," Wang Lide nodded and signaled his guards to follow suit. As the shackles on the prisoners' hands and feet were released, they watched the huge iron door slowly rise and peered curiously behind it, only to be shocked by the pitch darkness inside.
Such a scene made the four prisoners a bit scared, but the guards were not so polite this time; they forcibly pushed the four men inside. As the prisoners walked in, the iron door slowly closed, plunging the space into absolute darkness. In this environment, where they couldn't see their hands in front of their faces, even these hardened prisoners shuddered.
"Damn, what the hell is this place? Why is it so dark?" one whispered.
"Brother Long, do you think that kid really wants to kill us?" another asked.
"Impossible," the bald man named Brother Long shook his head. "Didn't you hear what the guy surnamed Hao said? Their people have been keeping watch here. If we die, that kid is finished too."
In spite of this, Brother Long was growing anxious. Although Iron Castle Prison is under constant surveillance, and whatever happens will be noticed by the Prison Committee, it was still a prison. If the young warden decided to attack him, they really wouldn't stand a chance.
At this moment, a faint light suddenly flashed in the distance. Attracted by this sudden light, the four of them discovered that a bonfire had been lit not far away. This scene shocked the four people, and an inexplicable fear arose in their hearts.
A bonfire suddenly appearing out of thin air in a dark space where you can't see anything—could it be a ghost? Not only that, with the appearance of the bonfire, the surrounding temperature began to drop rapidly, and even their breath was visible in the cold air. Forced by the cold, the four people had no choice but to gather around the bonfire to keep warm.
As they sat down, one prisoner suddenly saw an exquisite envelope on the ground beside the bonfire. Seeing this, the four prisoners exchanged glances with each other, wondering what this could mean. Finally, Brother Long spoke: "Open it and see what's written inside."
After hearing this, one of the prisoners picked up the envelope and took out the letter paper inside. But when the prisoner glanced at the contents of the letter, he showed a strange expression. Seeing his companion's expression, Brother Long asked in confusion, "What's wrong?" "See for yourself," was the reply.
Without saying anything else, the prisoner opened the letter in his hand. Curious, the others gathered around him. But when they saw the content of the letter, everyone had a strange expression. The letter read:
[Game rules: Repair five generators and escape from Macmillan Manor while being chased by the Butcher. You will get a chance to breathe. Remember, death is not relief.]
Looking at this inexplicable statement, the four prisoners were a little confused. "Hmph, you suspicious boy, what a bullshit butcher—we are the most powerful butchers," Brother Long scoffed. Hearing Brother Long's words, the other three prisoners laughed as well.
Among the four people present, Brother Long was the most guilty, having committed the crime of imprisoning a young man at home and torturing him to death. As for the other three, they were either violent robbers or perverted murderers. In short, none of them were good. If we really talk about it, the four of them could be considered butchers.
Therefore, the four people sneered at what was said in the envelope. Among them, Brother Long even licked his lips and smiled evilly. "I don't know what this butcher looks like. Let me declare in advance that if he is a pretty boy, you have to give him to me." The other three people were aware of Brother Long's perverted hobby, and after hearing this, they all nodded and smiled to express their understanding.
However, just as the four people were talking and laughing, the bonfire suddenly went out, and then the four people completely lost consciousness.
