CELESTIAL Chronicles: Death and Vengeance

"Didn't I tell you not to hold back?" the voice of the man who transported them to this realm rang in their head. His voice carrying traces of disappointment and rage. "Use all of the power that you have in those pathetic bodies of yours. Next time you hold back against an opponent in this realm, you'll have to deal with me, brats."

Merlin and Keith woke up and healed the injuries that they had sustained from the battle. The hydra saw that its prey had woken up and used one of its abilities to create a double to deal with its other prey. The two hydras both lunged at their opponents with great speed but it felt something strange. Its preys' aura had changed significantly. At first the aura that came from their bodies was weak but now it was stronger than ever. They aura that came from their bodies was that of a predator who had found its prey.

Merlin and Keith performed a hand sign and they both murmured in perfect synchronization.

"Celestial Realm: Realm of Vengeance."

"Celestial Realm: Realm of Death."

Keith and his opponent got teleported to his realm and the same thing happened for Merlin. Celestial Realms are reflection of a Celestial's inner state of mind and the power of their Celestial laws. Celestial Realms are easy to make but the trouble lies in maintaining them since it requires a lot Celestial Energy and extreme concentration.

The sky had an orange-like hue and the scorching red sun hung over the sky indicating that it was noon. Keith's realm was nothing but a vast red ocean of blood and the bodies of monsters, oni and dragons alike were at the bottom of that ocean. The air carried the metallic scent of blood.

The hydra was awestruck at how colorful this place was and all the new things that it was seeing. The hydra had spent its entire life in the cave so it didn't really get to see that much color and never got to see the sun or the ocean.

The hydra was in trance for a few seconds before it lunged right at Keith. Keith dodged the attack effortlessly and used his dagger to decapitate the left head. He lifted his right leg high and delivered a devasting kick to the middle head.

The right head spew out a fireball but Keith slapped it away with his hand and decapitated the head. He took a few steps back and released an air slash toward the hydra and it barely dodged it. The hydra was surprised to where this human got this newfound strength and why did its body feel weaker than usual.

It was all because of Keith's Realm. Right now, it wasn't fully developed by the effects still worked but they weren't as strong as before. The realm would reduce 25% of the opponent's stats every five minutes and it would increase Keith's stats by 25%.

The beast regenerated both of its head and decided to use its last resort. The once beautiful cyan blue scales turned into a glowing crimson red color and its body was now ten times bigger. It now had two more additional heads. The hydra lung at him with great speed.

Keith stayed calm and got his sword out of his inventory. He got into a battle stance and breathed in a mouthful of air. In one fluid precise motion, he severed the heads of the hydra.

Merlin's realm was scarier than Keith's realm. The sky was pitch black and the only source of light was the red moon. Countless corpses and skeletons lay on the ground, the place looked like the aftermath of a very long battle. The corpses were mangled and twisted beyond compare. The skeletons were slightly burnt. In the middle of the realm, there were two statues that were facing each other.

Each statue had one thing in common, they were made from the flesh of humans, dragons and onis. One of the statues held a scythe made from bones and the other held a katana also made from the same material. His realm had an unsettling feeling to it causing a shiver to run down the hydra's spine.

"What the actual fuck!" the hydra blurted out with a shocked expression on its face. It had expected the realm to look a little creepy but this was a little extreme. If it were to guess what hell looked like then this place would be it.

Merlin stood up from his throne made of bones and decided to fight the hydra. The hydra used it tail like a whip and aimed it Merlin but he was able to dodge the attack and punched the tail with all the strength that he could muster. The snake was sent hurtling into a mountain of corpses.

Merlin used his teleportation to close in the distance and punched the beast mercilessly, each blow more devastating than the other. The hydra tried to retaliate, its other two heads attacked and tried to bite him but they all got decapitated and he punched the middle head, knocking out.

He grabbed its tail and slammed into the ground ten times. This was his way of taking revenge for the way it treated him in the cave. After that he threw towards one of the statues. He teleported to the statue and punched the hydra until the statue collapsed. Merlin created a light bomb and placed it on the hydra's body. He teleported himself to safety. The bomb exploded and incinerated the hydra's entire body.
