Delayed Transfer

Chapter 341

The circus hadn’t entered the city yet since Hamil, Zenethor, and Lorendo had to go to the government offices of Narcone City to register the circus first. It didn’t take long since after about thirty minutes, the circus leaders returned and then all of them headed to the location where they could set up.

While they were moving towards the Plaza of Laughter where they could set up, Mark opened the window of the RV so he could check out the city.

The city of Narcone was huge and according to Hamil., its history was one thousand years old since it was established when the first dungeon, the Labyrinth of Cormantura spawned. Mark didn’t know if one thousand years old was old or young in terms of a city’s age but he was guessing that for this world, it’s not that old.

The buildings were a hodge-podge collection of various designs but instead of looking chaotic, it was lively and exciting instead.

Mark couldn’t remember the type of government the city of Narcone and he couldn’t remember if Hamil told him and more than likely, Hamil did, but to be honest, he didn’t really care. He just wanted to tour the other circuses and the other parts of the city.

They arrived at the city of Plaza of Laughter and everyone got busy setting up. Mark’s two RVs were parked together near where the elven sisters' carriage and Norunta the witch's carriage were parked.

Almost every carriage set up a colorful makeshift stall. Even the witch and the elven sisters were setting up some sort of stalls. Mark didn’t know what the women would sell but he saw that Milena was also very busy setting up their stall. It was a good thing that Mark had already replicated a lot of products the night before that they would sell but more than likely, he would be busy every night replicating more items that Milena would sell. They did talk about the amount limit of products they could sell each day so it wouldn’t take the majority of their time.

According to Milena, with the amount of items that Mark would conjure every night, it would probably take less than three hours for all of the items to be sold off.

Mark told their cook that it was enough as long as they earned enough coins for their spending since his main goal right now in the city was to explore every inch of it.

The circus was swift in setting up so everything was almost done before lunch. Once the ticket stall for the Yoda Roller Coaster was set up, Hamil, together with an official-looking person who the circus leader introduced as part of some sort of government branch in the city of Narcone, went to Mark’s RV to ask him to summon Yoda so he did. When the air above Hamil’s circus was ripped apart and a magnificent-looking dragon entered this world, there was a mild panic but Hamil already announced to everyone that their circus had a tamed dragon that people could ride for a fee so the panic was not excessive. Mostly, there was surprise and awe in the shouts that Mark heard from the people who saw the dragon appearing.

After that, Yoda quickly went down and parked beside the RVs and Hamil and the government person rode Yoda to where the Dragon Roller Coaster was set up.

Everyone was so busy and it was lunchtime so Mark and the children were hungry. Since Milena and her assistants were still setting up their stall, Mark prepared lunch for everyone and soon everyone climbed up the RV and started eating hastily.

According to Nedertu, they were eating so fast because once they completed setting up their stall, Lisa and Connor would look after it and then the others would help their friends in making sure that the circus was ready for opening this afternoon.

After lunch, Mark’s friends hastily went outside to finish their stall and assist others. That meant that Mark would be the one looking after the children.

The circus’s children were not allowed to run around inside the city, at least on the first few days, so Mark had to keep an eye on the twins. Mark cleaned all the dishes by simply storing them in his inventory and destroying them then he and the children went outside the RV.

“Where are we going?” Isaac asked.

“We’re going exploring!”

“Are we not going to help the others?” Aaron asked.

Mark was embarrassed at Aaron’s question since he really didn’t have any intention of helping and wanted to start exploring already. Besides, he knew for a fact that nobody actually would want his assistance since he didn’t know what to do and would likely hinder the work of the others.

“They didn’t need my help but if you want to help the others, you can go ahead and do so while me and Liriel would visit the other circuses.”

The twins were alarmed at the prospect of them working while Mark and Liriel were having fun exploring the other circuses.

“Oh no, they don’t need our help either and would probably mess things up if we went there so for us to help them, it would be better if we don’t bother them and just go with you and Liriel,” Aaron said.

Mark laughed when he heard the kid’s reply and Liriel giggled as well. So while carrying Liriel in his arms, they first circled their circus to check everything on their side first. Mark could see that their circus was unusually lively and full of noise from people giving instructions to others. There were a lot of colorful stalls in front of the carriages. The products were various items that the circus people made and food that they cooked while traveling.

Mark also saw that the haunted house that the circus was creating was complete and it would debut in this city. The Yoda Roller Coaster was already set up and unsurprisingly, there was already a huge crowd observing the dragon but from the looks of it, the majority of the people were the ones from the other circuses since their circus wasn’t officially opened yet.

Hamil was talking to three unique-looking men and he overheard somebody saying that they were the leaders of the other circuses.

Soon, Liriel got tired of being carried so she was walking beside Mark while he was holding her hands.

Mark and the kids didn’t stay long in the Yoda Roller Coaster. They roamed around and they saw the movie theater being set up. They also saw the theater that shows the live play was also being set up as well as the stage where the acrobat brothers would perform.

They didn’t stay long in their circus because they already knew all the acts that were being set up so they headed to the circus beside theirs.

The circus beside theirs had a large dome set up and according to the ticket stall, the first show in the dome would start in about thirty minutes so Mark bought a ticket for himself and the children.

They were truly excited to see a new show that they hadn’t seen before and the twins kept babbling to each other so rapidly that Mark couldn’t understand them. Liriel was also giggling non-stop, pointing at different things while saying Mark’s name.

The inside of the tent dome was surrounded by seats and the performance would happen in the center which was typical of circus shows that Mark had seen on the internet in his previous world. He suddenly remembered the musical movie The Greatest Showman and wondered if the show they would see would somewhat resemble that.
