Delayed Transfer

Chapter 359

Mark knew that a few tickets for the convention wouldn’t bother Hamil and the others since he did provide the idea for the Star Wars convention and also the first and the second prize costume winners. Based on what Nedertu had said, he would also be the one providing most of the food that the attendees would eat.

He wondered if Hamil was taking advantage of him, but even though it was almost certain that the circus leader was, it didn’t matter to Mark. He was happy staying in the circus and traveling the lands and it was easy for him to replicate what his friends in the circus wanted. If he was honest with himself, Mark was happy and proud that people in this world were fascinated by the things he loved. It might be because they were brand new experiences for them and they were a novelty but nevertheless, there was some form of vindication that people in this world would like the things that made him an otaku.

After dinner, the adventurers said goodbye and the children rested early since they were exhausted from what they did the whole day.

At first, Mark thought that if he showed some fantasy movies, television shows, and even animes, their impact wouldn’t be so great since this was a fantasy world and that meant that what they could see in the movies with regards to magic would almost seem like common occurrence to the people but apparently, those who truly witness great magic were few and far between.

Not only that, Mark hadn’t encountered any form of racism yet but since he had not been long in this world yet, he knew that there should be a few of that kind of stupid behavior somewhere. He thought of that because when he observed the audience watching the movies, they would almost always focus on the story, the graphics, and the special effects, not the race of the actors and Mark believed that since this world also consisted of very diverse life forms, even the alien beings in science fiction movies like Star Wars were not truly alien to the people in this world.

When the children were asleep and Nedertu, Milena and the others went to their RV, Mark decided to kill the bosses in his dungeon to gather more equipment and it wouldn’t take him very long to complete anyway so he entered his dungeon and after less than an hour, he was back in the RV.

He received four legendary items so he had about six unidentified legendary items. In the RV’s living room, Mark identified the six legendary items one by one. The first one was called Legendary Wand of Magic Missile. A generic magic wand with the spell magic missile. It would give the user twenty intelligence, ten wisdom, and the wand had twenty-five durability, and it would allow the user to cast a simple magic missile as its regular attack with damage of ten to fifteen magic damage. It did have a spell which was also called Magic Missile but its damage was greater at fifty magic damage, which meant that it was a proper spell. It had thirty charges and would earn one charge per ten minutes.

The second legendary magic item is called the Legendary Paladin’s Mace of Healing. The user would receive thirty intelligence and twenty wisdom while holding the mace. It had a twenty to twenty-five physical damage to normal enemies and had a thirty to forty holy damage to u9ndead and it had thirty durability. It had the spell Bolt of Healing that would allow the user to cast a healing bolt to their allies that would heal sixty HP and if cast on an undead it would give eighty damage to the undead. It had forty charges and would earn one charge per ten minutes.

The third item was called the Legendry Ring of Dire Wolf. The user would receive thirty intelligence and twenty wisdom and it had twenty durability which was truly negligible to be listed since it would decrease since it would not receive any damage since it was an accessory, not an armor. Maybe if the user receives an Area of Effect damage? Mark didn’t know for sure.

The ring would allow the user to summon a Dire Wolf for one hour. The wolf had two hundred HP and could cause thirty physical damage to its enemies either through its bite or claw attacks. It had five charges and would earn one charge per hour. The good thing about the ring was the user could summon all five wolves at once.

The next item was called the Legendary Leather Armor of Stone. The wearer would receive thirty vitality and the armor had thirty defense and thirty durability. The wearer could cast the spell Stone Skin which will provide the cast one hundred defense for ten minutes. It had ten charges and would earn one charge per hour.

The next one was called the Legendary Mage Robe of Air Push. It would give the user thirty to their intelligence and twenty to their wisdom. It had twenty defense and thirty durability. The wearer would then be protected by the passive spell Air Push wherein if a melee enemy reached the wearer and attacked them physically, the robe would automatically cast the spell Air Push where a powerful gust of wind would come out of the armor to push the attacker away. It had ten charges and would earn one charge per hour.

The last legendary item that Mark received from his dungeon boss farming was called the Legendary Leather Pants of Blink. The wearer would receive thirty intelligence, twenty to their wisdom, an additional twenty to their defense and the pants had thirty durability. It had the spell Blink which was a short-range teleportation spell. The wearer could cast Blink which had a twenty-meter range which in Mark’s opinion was not really short range. It had twenty charges and would earn one charge per hour.

Mark was happy to receive all of the items because they would be useful in making sure that the children would be safe and powerful. He made a vow that he would be diligent in farming the bosses since he wasn’t always so but now that he had a goal to make sure that the twins and Liriel would be riddled with powerful magical items, he would make sure to kill the bosses as soon as they spawned so his next bosses farm schedule would be two days from today so he promptly set an alarm on his smartphone.

After he was done cataloging his items, Mark suddenly thought of his friends on Earth and wondered what their situation was. He knew that he left a mess but since his actions of massive healing activities were done all over the world, he hoped that his friends would not be affected. He was hoping that they would live their lives happily. He still did have the goal of visiting Earth once he knew how since he wanted to make sure that all his otaku things were updated.

Mark was actually getting excited about the new animes, movies, and television shows that would be released in his absence and knew for a fact that once he was back, he would ask Sam, or anyone else for that matter to gather all of them in a hard drive again and because of that thinking, the desire to become more powerful was reignited inside Mark.
