Diary of an introvert

Chapter 3: MY BIGGEST SECRET

I am known for my exceptional athletic skills, particularly in track and field. However, my introverted personality often makes me come across as aloof or distant to my teammates and coaches.

My life takes a drastic turn when my parents get divorced. I become withdrawn, and my only solace is running. My coach, Mark, noticed my talent and took me under his wing.

Mark was a demanding coach who pushes his athletes to their limits. I, in particular, received harsh criticism from Mark, which often leaves me feeling belittled and frustrated.

One fateful day, I reached my breaking point. During a particularly grueling practice session, Mark's constant yelling and criticism become too much for me to bear. In a fit of rage, I snap.

Without warning, I attack Mark, grabbing a nearby weight and bludgeoning him to death. The other athletes were shocked and terrified as they watched the gruesome scene unfold.

I, still in a state of fury, calmly walk away from the crime scene, leaving behind a trail of blood and destruction. I vanished into the crowd, my introverted nature allowing me to blend in seamlessly.

The police launched an investigation, but my quiet demeanor and lack of witnesses made it difficult to pinpoint me as the prime suspect.

As the days pass, my anger subsides, replaced by a sense of numbness. I continue to attend school, but my athletic career was over. The weight of my secret crushed me, and I became increasingly isolated.

The killing unleashes a darkness within me, and I know I can never go back to being the person I once was. My introverted nature hides a sinister secret, and now I am forced to live with the consequences of my actions.

The case remains unsolved, and my secret remains hidden, locked behind the silent mask of an introvert.

Years go by, and my life takes a dramatic turn. I channel my energy into my studies and eventually establish my own company. I become a successful entrepreneur, but the guilt of my past actions continues to haunt me.
