During the Dark Ages

"Just how many of you pests are there?!" Shuma said angrily as the golden coffin turned to dust. The orb floated around her, and everyone could see the flesh of herissing hand slowly regenerating. The orb split into three parts, and Shuma looked around for Bartus, but he had already left the area. Colin suddenly appeared beside her and delivered a nasty right hook to the side of her face.

"Alright then." Shuma said before spinning around, swing her sword and forcing Colin to dodge. As he did, one of the orbs flew towards him and he had no choice but to spin out of the way, landing awkwardly on the ground. The orb crashed into the ground, disintegrating it and forming a shallow hole.

Shuma rushed towards Colin and stompbon his head, but he rolled out of the way and used his hand for support before spinning around and delivering a fatal kick to the back of her leg. The kick didn't break her armour, but it did cause her to fall on her knee. She sent another orb towards him and he quickly kicked her in the face, and doing a backflip to dodge the orb.

'I knew it, that outburst of hers must have used up a lot of her DP, she is more than likely running on fumes right now. But we still can't break through her armour.' Colin thought

[Lily, I'm gonna need your help.] Colin said, Lily was currently quite a distance away, trying to recover her energy. She has dropped her [Illusory Veil] since it wasn't working anyway to conserve energy.

[Yeah I know, but I need some time. I'm currently running on fumes, so I need you to keep her busy for a while.] Lily said

[You can't be serious, what do you think I'm currently running on Red Bull.] Colin almost shouted

[You're the one who wanted this town so you are gonna have to take the most risk. I need some time.] Lily said

[Fine, but when you are ready, I need you to disarm her, literally.] Colin said, and just then, he saw all three of the orbs racing towards him. He quickly took to the skies and one of the orbs made a sharp turn to follow him in the air.

'Shit, one above and two below. If one of those things touch me, I'm dead. Think, think, think!! She's following me so I can't escape her range and I don't have the energy to create fireballs right now. I can only try and lose her in the treelines, or I could try going higher.' Colin thought and quickly decided on the latter. The sky was full of clouds tonight and Colin was sure he can lose her in there, maybe. As expected, Shuma and the orbs followed after him. Frustrated, Shuma slashed her sword, releasing an arc of black demonic energy towards Colin and he quickly dodged.

"Shit." He cursed as Shuma released more and more arcs of demonic energy towards him, forcing him to dodge while flapping his wings even faster. He soon burst through the barrier of clouds and quickly activated his [Stealth] trait, causing Shuma to lose sight of him. He quickly entered a freefall, falling back towards the ground as Shuma angrily searched for him.

'That should keep her busy for a-' But before he could finish his train of thought, he heard a large explosion from above and looking up, he could see a dark cloud, stretch across the sky as far as the eye can see, blocking out the light of the moon and stars.

'Yep, she is very pissed.' Colin thought as the sky slowly cleared up and he could see Shuma bathed in moonlight with two black orbs rotating around her.

[Colin, you need to distract her before she does anything else. You need to deactivate your stealth ability.] Lily said and Colin groaned before deactivating his trait. Shuma quickly spotted him and launched herself towards him as well as the orbs. Colin looked at the golden sword in his hand and gripped it tight. Shuma crashed into the ground and kicked off towards Colin, clashing blades once more. One of the orbs came from behind and Colin, sensing danger, instinctively ducked his head. The orb stopped just short of Shuma's face, before moving behind her. Colin put some distance between the two of them when he sensed a feeling of danger behind him. Behind him, there was the other orb and it started to split apart into smaller orbs, and so did the one behind Shuma, until their were dozens of orbs surrounding the both of them in a ring.

"Now you have nowhere to run." Shuma said and Colin instinctively looked up and he could see a few orbs floating above as well.

'Fuck...m-maybe, maybe I won't die if I get hit by one of them since they are smaller.' Colin thought nervously. Shuma prepared to strike when she felt a large surge of energy behind her.

"You shouldn't have neglected me, Cancelling Wave!!" Lily shouted
