Elden Ring:After the end

Chapter 21: Chapter 21:Blitzkrieg

In the temporary meeting room at Leyndell, formerly Queen Marika bedroom, the atmosphere was certainly heavy.

The meeting table that never exceeded more than four occupied seats had currently reached a total of six figures seated there.

"It's a pleasure to finally be able to see you face to face, but it's a pity that it's in this kind of situation"

Leaning his body on the top chair, the one obviously belonging to the most important person, Aldrich opens the conversation in a firm voice clear to everyone.

"I am the one who must apologize to you my lord, being busy cannot be an excuse for my disrespect"

Posing the standard Leyndell knight's helmet to the side of his chair, a man dressed completely as a knight bows his head in submission.

It was Kristoff, one of the great knights of Leyndell, who had captured Godefroy in his escape attempt during the devastation, thus earning a great honor for his merits.

"No matter, in those moments what you did was more important than appearances. Your persona also applies, Tiche."

Turning his face away from the table, Aldrich focuses his eyes slightly as if something is trying to escape from his eyes.

Such a situation is due to the equipment the black knives carry, which makes them difficult to detect in motion and impossible if not moving.

"I must thank you for the understanding my lord"

A warm voice emerges from under his hood, though more than one in the room shivered slightly at it. The voice is not the problem, but the feeling it elicits in the listener, almost as if a beast is stalking you.

The one who had just communicated was Tiche, one of the famous participants in the night of the plot, daughter of the leader of the black knives.

Hence the understanding, since the black knives she was looking for are actually her acquaintances, who also participated in that night.

"We can put an end to all of this surrounding! Aldrich, why did you send for me"

Raising her voice suddenly, Lansseax looks half annoyed towards Aldrich, who lets out a sigh, then starts with the serious topic.

...Aldrich pov...

"One month. In one month we will have total control over the Altus Plateau "

Moving my eyes over each of those sitting here, I see no traces of surprise or uncertainty, the only one not behaving normally is Boc Seamstress.

Not that he is flinching, at least not from this future confrontation, but he is still trembling from Tiche's few words.

"As per Al's request, I have mobilized all those who have completed basic training. We only have to wait for Lhutel troops and we can begin"

Letting it be seen that he is already prepared for action, Kristoff makes a statement about the troops under Lhutel's command and their possible return.

"Things didn't go as planned, Lhutel will have to stay there until further notice

"What happened?"

"When we arrived, they were all well and truly dead"

Lansseax's answer was not the best, but the most succinct that can be delivered to Kristoff.

"Too long had those traitors lived, still a pity they managed to escape in death"

"You're right, Al. Those dirty traitors don't deserve a clean death... Each and every one of them"

Ignoring Tiche and Al who seem to regret not getting to those traitors first, I cough softly to get everyone's attention again.

"As I said, the troops belonging to Lhutel will not join us. Because of the aforementioned, we will be at a numerical disadvantage"

"Critical point attack"

"Elimination of high value targets"

Both quickly gave a viable option, the first was Kristoff and the second was Tiche, each option can be considered under the skills of each.

Kristoff's critical point attack is about advancing and quickly taking areas of high interest, be they bridges, barns, defensive forts or key areas.

Tiche's option, about eliminating high-value targets, is solved by creating chaos within the enemy ranks and finishing them off in the midst of the chaos.

"We will use both at the same time, as well as my and Lansseax's brute force, in order to take the centers of power without great losses."

"Okay, that's the way to talk. Let's use our fist and that'll solve everything"

"Damn lizard..."

"Do you even want to fight, you third-rate mimic"

Shushing Lansseax, who is beaming at the application of brute force, and Al who can't seem to stand his words, I guided my eyes to the other two in the room.

Obviously my idea was a rather crude plan, but I don't need to think of everything, as here beside me is one of the great knights of Leyndell and also a top assassin.

"If we can dispose of your and Miss Lansseax's strength, the operation can drop a few points in difficulty

"We will be able to assassinate the commanders, while you and Lansseax wipe out their leaders. That power vacuum will make the task much easier"

Tiche and Kristoff's thoughts seem to start resonating, causing them to forget about everyone here and start debating their ideas.

Little by little the plan was taking shape, mainly due to the thoughts of Tiche and Kristoff, but when one of them came up with an idea, no matter how strange, it was taken into account.

"Then the plan will be divided into three phases, seven days, by the South(Leyndell-Dectus Elevator), West(Leyndell-Center) and North(Leyndell-Dominula Mills) zones"

Briefly talking about what to do, since everything truly important has already been talked about, he let out a sigh and thus erased the oppressive atmosphere.

"We're finally done!"

"You did nothing but sleep through the whole meeting"

"I have to keep up my appearance"

"Even looking good, who would mess with a lizard?"

Maybe I should have sent them out and then killed the working atmosphere. How could these two possibly get along so badly, they are like cats and dogs.
