Chapter 112: Gerald vs. Ender
Destroying tree after tree, Kevin continued to train ruthlessly despite his persisting thought of where his friends were, and what they were currently doing. "I have to zone out and unlock the rest of my inner power…" he thought to himself. Holding a stick he had randomly found on the ground, Jayden sighed in exhaustion. "We… pant finally made it… pant to the first checkpoint on the map…" Kevin scoffed. "This is an abandoned settlement! Why are you bringing us here?" Sighing, Jayden pointed at the hidden trapdoor that sat vacant beyond all of the fallen rubble. "Down that trapdoor lies where I trained with my friend, Terrance. This is also Crystal City territory, so I doubt anyone will be able to access this location. Sighing, Kevin descended the mountain ahead of Jayden. "If this is a private training spot, I can train better here without getting lectured over and over by YOU!" Breaking out a cold sweat, Jayden followed after Kevin. "It's just for your own good, champ…" Meanwhile miles away in another part of the forest, Gerald continued to dodge the rounds of grenades being thrown at him by Ender. Suddenly, his fiery leg came plunging through Ender's stomach, which was substituted with the anonymous substance he possessed. "Why can't I land a hit on this guy!?" Gerald thought to himself, dodging his attacks once more.
CHAPTER 20
As the Ray of Death charged up, Kevin stared at Ender, giving him a glare of defeat. "It isn't over yet…" Kevin said, coughing up multiple amounts of blood. "I can still finish off the battle…" As the fire dawned on the scene, Ender continued to charge up his Ray of Death, which was now almost ready.
"You're going to die! Say goodbye to everyone you love, and remember to never MESS WITH FELIX ENDER!" Ender screams, shooting the ray of massive power at Kevin. As the explosion finally hit the grassfield, Kevin, screaming in pain, tried to get away from the impact. Was it too late, or would he return from this?
Suddenly, Ender's attack was ready, and Gerald was in the main epicenter. "RAY OF DEATH!" he exclaimed, completely annihilating everything that stood in his path. At the last second, Gerald was able to fly up into the air with the wind, barely dodging the attack that would end his life. "Shit! That was fa-" Suddenly, Ender came charging through the sky, right at Gerald. "I'll make sure you're as good as dead!" he exclaimed. Suddenly, the black substance Ender possessed once again bordered the battlefield, morphing into fire seconds later. Looking at his surroundings, Gerald scoffed. "Shit! There's nowhere to run!" he exclaimed. Suddenly, Ender absorbed the substance, which was the only thing running and remaining in his body. "Shit! My… time! It's almost up…" he thought to himself, coughing up the substance as he crawled over desperately to Gerald. Suddenly, his hand morphed into the same hand he had used on Kevin back in Diamond City. "Claw…"
Gerald smiled. "Barrage." In a matter of seconds, Ender's smile of victory turned to fear as Gerald was fully on his feet and ready to throw a punch filled with his Flamulia. "I'll keep you alive for now, because Kevin's going to want to show off on you soon enough…" he whispered in his ear. Right after Gerald extracted his parting words from his mouth, Ender was sent plummeting down the sinkhole he created at full speed. "It's wearing off!" he exclaimed, continuing to cough up the goop. That was the moment everything went silent in Ender's mind - he was dead once again.
Flipping up his hair, Gerald looked down the hole. Sayeo…
CHAPTER 25
"SHIT!" Sayeo screamed, generating tears from his eyes. "IS THIS THE END FOR ME TOO…?" Gerald screamed, finally descending the sky, ready to defeat Sayeo. Gaining flashbacks from the beginning of the battle, Sayeo had noticed he had had the upper hand - until Alamein Tower's downfall. Gerald charged at his opponent, finally making the finishing blow. "COMET… SHOWER!" Gerald screamed as the punch Sayeo took had one-shotted him into the abandoned city below. As Gerald screamed, taking Sayeo further down into the sky, he knew that this would be the end - he could see it! Suddenly, as Diamond City finally came back into view, Sayeo saw his end - a moment that would lie in the history of the future of Team Diamond's lives.
The ground exploded as Gerald's attack finally finished, leaving Sayeo to bleed tremendously. As Gerald continued burrowing his enemy in the ground, he smirked. "This was a really nice battle. You're strong, Sayeo." he thought to himself.
The streets of Diamond City exploded once more, leaving dozens of debris scattering across the city.
As the dust settles after Gerald's life ending attack, Sayeo coughs in pain from deep down into the hole. "Shit…" he thinks to himself, moving his hand around. "I tried to defeat Team Diamond…" he said to himself, looking at his bloody hands and legs. As he coughed up another large amount of blood once again, he sighed in pain. "Gerald… It was fun being your opponent. Thank you…" Sayeo said, finally dying in action.
