ENTITY: THE FULL SAGA

Chapter 113: Arrival

Samantha sighed. "We've finally made it to Diamond City…" she muttered, comparing it with an image in her mind to now. Doing the same, Michael looked at a picture of the city he had quickly taken last month before he had to leave Diamond City due to Ender's massive outrage. Looking at the paper, he saw an unconscious Kevin in the background. "Say, I wonder what Kevin's doing now…" he thought to himself, looking up at the fond blue skies that sat above him.

Looking around the room which was bordered by what seemed to be ten consecutive waterfalls, Kevin gasped. "So this is the temple where you learned collision?" he asked Jayden, who was zoned out as he stared at a symbol carved into the ground. "Yep! I learned collision right over there on that leveled platform! If you hear waterfall sounds or anything soothing during your meditation, it's most likely going to work. But still, you haven't gone mentally insane yet…" Chuckling, Kevin sat down in the spot Jayden directed him to. "Oh shucks, Jayden! This won't be so hard, and I won't go insane!"

Closing his eyes and putting his hands in his lap, Kevin sighed peacefully. "Tune into your inner thoughts, Kevi-"

The waterfall had splashed his clothes all over. Laughing as hard as possible, Jayden looked at the now soaked Kevin. "I also forgot to tell you, in this temple, your meditation controls the water! If it stays on the ground when you sit there, that's called mastery! But if you're not doing well, it'll soak you over and over!" Wringing out his wet shirt with his skinny hands, Kevin sat back down onto the ground. "I don't wanna get soaked again, so I'm just gonna have to lock in this time…" A few seconds later, all Kevin could hear were his fond yet fragile heart beating. "Did I do it…? Am I inside now?" Now that Kevin was fully submerged into his mind, he looked at the picture that was casted inside his brain.

It was a replica of Crystal City. "Not bad…" he thought to himself, walking through the abandoned city. Despite the running fountains and the leaking shower heads, Kevin could easily say in his mind that this was the quietest scene he had ever witnessed. But right then, a hand was right on his shoulder. "You shalt not pass, young child. I am the dawn of this world, and I will manipulate your mind into thinking otherwise." Before Kevin could open his mouth to respond to the mysterious claim, as he punched the dark soul with everything he had, it didn't budge at all. "Why isn't the attack piercing his stomach!?" Kevin exclaimed, continuing to land the same blows on him. Suddenly, the sky around him turned to a dark shade of red, followed by a massive kick the mysterious soul had executed, sending Kevin right back into reality. Gasping for air multiple times, Kevin finally settled down as he looked at the ten waterfalls surrounding him. "I zoned out, but some weird thing was in my mind that completely attacked me!" Holding the wound that the soul had casted on him, Kevin looked at his hand that he covered it with.

No blood. "That's weird." Kevin thought to himself, slightly glancing at Jayden.

"That is your secondary soul, Kevin. That is how you will unlock the powers of Collision. As you continue to try to defeat it, your durability will grow and you'll be able to unlock your form of Collision when you reach the point that you can use your normal Stormwrath. But for now, you'll just have to go with normal punches." Kevin sighed. "When I was making Exothiuium, I didn't know I would have to add collision to it! Catching Ikama was hard enough!" Smiling once again, Kevin looked at the entrance of the temple, seeing a middle aged man walk alongside another woman. Scoffing, Jayden ran up to the pair. "Terrance! You're alive!" Laughing, he adjusted his orange coat, slowly getting used to the dynamics the lady continued to endure while her lifetime was still in session. "Hello, Jayden. This is the squirt you want me to train?" Scratching his head awkwardly, Jayden grinned from ear to ear, "Yep! I've taught him everything he needed including the dream fight, and now that you're here, you can do it perfectly!" Smoking another cigarette, Terrance threw it into the waterfall that sat below, burning up on the spot. "I see you haven't gone mentally insane yet, which is pretty convenient and impressive for the both of us. But right now, I need you to go back to your dream and face the same guy that you just battled." Smiling, Kevin zoned out once again, hearing the beautiful waterfalls that continued to surround him. "Let's try this again."
