Chapter 73: The Alliance Of The Century! Team ENTITY and Alex!
Gerald, Samantha, and Alex, continuing to have their conversation on the mountain, stood in shock from the deep wound that Gaian had engraved in him. "He didn't even use his lightning!?" Gerald exclaimed. Alex sighed. "Luckily, he didn't. If he had used his full power on me, I wouldn't even be standing here right now…" Samantha looked at her old friend. "You've been through a lot in your absence, Alex. I really hope you-"
"We have to talk about something as well," he interrupted. "For now, I'm just here to watch the fight happen. But now that I've seen you, I finally have the decision to create an alliance with you and fight alongside Team ENTITY. Do you accept my decision, or decline my decision?" As the blizzard continued to cast its snowy spell across the mountain, Gerald smiled. "We aren't the administrators of Team ENTITY. That's up to Kevin…" he muttered. Alex sighed. "I see… Well then, I'll be lurking in the shadows waiting for your response." Walking up to a giant cliff, he let out a large smile. "I'll be seeing you soon…" he said before disappearing into the cold winter biome. Back in Death Desert, the World Summit was finally in its final 5 hours until being broadcasted on the TV! Until then stood a big countdown worldwide that would finally cease when all the world leaders were ready. But to their dismay, a powerful terrorist organization was lurking in the shadows, and all of the world leaders were worried that an assassination attempt would come to light around the world. With the Mountain Entity, Aybara, ongoing battles, and a lot more, this would be the most chaotic and challenging event the world has ever seen. Aside from the World Summit, the Great Dune Dash, including the nations most infamous criminals, was beginning very soon after the World Summit.
As the crackling fire continued to sound throughout the darkest of rooms, Hana finally emerged from the sleeping bed, thinking she had been saved and all her bones had been resurrected. But there was a severe cramp problem in her back, where Hakim had landed a fatal hit on her back at the battlefield. "Where am I?" she thought to herself. "Did Xavier save me again, or is this a dream?" Suddenly, a man different from Xavier walked into the room. "Please do not move your back. I spent hours trying to fix your bones!" Hana nodded. "Is that so? Where am I, and who the hell are you!?" The man sighed. "Pardon who I am, but why were all your bones broken to begin with?" Hana sat in silence. "I don't want to talk about it just yet…" she whispered, rolling over on her side in her bed. That was the exact moment when she began to question Hakim's actual fate - dead or alive? As the man poured some soup in a bowl that hovered over the fire, he sighed. "If you don't want to tell me, that's perfectly fine. I saw you in terrible condition back at the bottom of the mountains, though…" Hana sighed. "Dead or alive…?" she muttered, holding the cup of coffee the ominous man handed to him. "This is the second time my life has been saved… First Xavier, now this man! And all the battles that I've gone through with this were both with Hakim. "Is this supposed to mean something…?" Back with Team ENTITY, a playful Kevin continued to rush through the snow with Kaelan, Rian, and Xavier, who had left Spooky at home for various reasons. "I'm all out of cigarettes, so if one of us gets in trouble, I'll probably faint after the battle…" Kevin's laugh turned to a frown. "And why is that?" he asked, scratching his head. Xavier sighed. "Ever since I split up with my sister Trya, I've gone through a lot of stress while attaining my phantom power. As a side effect, after an intense battle, I have to lay down and smoke at least one cigarette or I'll faint for 2 hours maximum. You don't have to protect me, however. I'm a middle aged man…" Continuing further up the mountain, Kaelan and Rian, who were carefree about their surroundings, continued to sense a powerful entity (which was active) beneath them. Although the entity had broken out of the mountain lower down, they both stood uncautious of the situation that was brewing and lurking in the shadows. Meanwhile back in Death Desert at the ruins of the bar stood Umai Black, accompanied by his patrons. "The Embercliff situation hasn't delayed the Great Dune Dash?" he exclaimed. The man chuckles nervously. "No, it hasn't! I recommend you head for Ironhold now before it's too late!" Umai screamed in encouragement. "GREAT DUNE DASH, HERE I COMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The patrons stood silent. "WELL? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" one exclaimed. "FOLLOW HIM!"
Now that Umai Black was heading to Ironhold along with his friends at a rapid speed, he would mark one of the 100 contestants that would take part in this annual race. Meanwhile in Embercliff, new bounties were being posted not just nationally, but worldwide.
WANTED
HANA FAIMASA
4,295,000
The newspaper read the following: WE ARE IN DEBT TO HANA FAIMASA. THIS WOMAN DEFEATED THE INFAMOUS HAKIM FAIMASA, WHO WAS ONE OF THE TWO CREATORS OF AYBARA, WITH A HIGHER BOUNTY THAN HER. WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE ONGOING EVENTS AT UMUE, ALONG WITH THE REGIONAL EVENTS AS WELL. Michael, reading the newspaper back in Ironhold, sighed. "A lot is going down in Umue right now…" Putting down the newspaper, he continued his snooze next to Trya on the couch. "The Great Dune Dash is in 22 hours… Hopefully we don't sleep long enough once again." he said before completely dozing off.
