Global Apocalypse: The True Young Master Awakens and Tames the Villain

Chapter 3

Gu Hongwen finally left, and the annoying person was no longer around. Liu Jin’an felt that the air in the ward became fresh and pleasant.

He finally made some time to study everything that happened to him.

The content of the novel appeared in his mind out of thin air, along with the book he saw while in a coma.

At first, he was dubious about the novel. After all, the conclusion that the world he lived in was in a book seemed too absurd.

But the description of the Gu family in the novel completely coincided with reality. He also took advantage of the Gu family’s character and successfully made a fortune.

*Porcelain deal?

How could this be called a porcelain deal? He preferred to call it a deal that satisfied both parties.

Since the novel was true, the coming apocalypse was also true, and the fate of mankind was about to usher in a turning point.

Liu Jin’an recalled the contents of the novel, and with a thought in his mind, a book appeared out of thin air and floated in mid-air in front of him.

The book moved automatically without wind, and lines of vigorous and powerful handwriting emerged from the blank pages.

[At about ten o’clock in the morning on April 1, 2124, brilliant auroras appeared all over the world at the same time. Countless meteorites fell from the sky, causing countless casualties and injuries for a while, just like purgatory on earth.

The earth’s magnetic field was completely disrupted, all communication equipment failed, and all instruments that relied on the magnetic field were scrapped.

Experts extracted an element from meteorites that was extremely active and compatible with most materials.

So, they named this brand-new element No. 120: gallium, and named the earth metal containing the gallium element gallium stone.

They discovered that after animals and plants absorbed the element gallium, they mutated and acquired superpowers. The more gallium elements they absorbed, the more powerful their superpowers became.

Since then, the law collapsed, and ordinary military power could no longer restrain superpowers. Humanity fell into a dark age in which it competed externally with mutant animals and plants for territory, and internally frantically competed for stone and resources.

It was known in history as the first year of the end of the world.]

With supernatural powers, Liu Jin’an gently touched the pages of the book, and the warm touch told him that the material of the pages was definitely not ordinary paper.

Moreover, this book could remain in his consciousness and record things that never happened. It could even appear out of thin air. All kinds of weirdness could only be explained by supernatural powers.

As if in response to his thoughts, the Book of Supernatural Powers automatically became silent again.

Finally, it stopped at a certain page, with three large golden characters “Ability Column” laying on it.

Liu Jin’an’s eyes froze slightly.

“The ability to resist beating is level one?”

When did he awaken this ability?

Could it be said that the beating he received from Gu Hongwu actually improved his ability to resist beatings?

Was there such a good thing?

Liu Jin’an tried to punch his arm. He frowned slightly, but the pain was still there. Because there was no reference object, he could not feel the effect of his ability to resist the blow.

Unless he went to Gu Hongwu and asked him to beat him again with the same force.

‘Are you kidding me?’

He had no masochistic tendencies!

Even if he had to be beaten, he couldn’t go to the Gu family.

Liu Jin’an had no choice but to put aside the changes in the ability bar. He thought that since the Book of Superpowers could appear out of thin air, could it also disappear out of thin air?

The next second, the Book of Superpowers disappeared.

He quickly closed his eyes and carefully felt the picture in his mind, and sure enough, he saw the suspended book deep in his consciousness again.

It turned out that the Book of Superpowers was controlled by consciousness.

After figuring this out, Liu Jin’an felt relieved and opened his eyes again.

In the novel, until his death, he failed to awaken any superpowers.

Although he had not yet figured out the power of the Book of Superpowers, having superpowers meant that he could absorb the gallium stone and use the gallium element to strengthen his physical fitness. At least he had the capital to save his life.

There was no need to be like the person in the novel, who lost the right to control his own life and became a slave to the plot, a tool for selfless dedication and sacrifice for the protagonist group.

Before falling asleep, Liu Jin’an thought that there was only one week left before the end of the world broke out. He needed to raise supplies as soon as possible and spend all the money he had earned through blackmail.

.

Gu Hongwen was very efficient in doing things. He received a bank card early the next morning.

After confirming the amount of the card at a nearby cash machine, Liu Jin’an decisively fled the hospital. His time was precious and could not be wasted in the hospital bed.

He stopped a taxi, took out a pink paper from the cash he had just withdrawn, and handed it to the driver. “Sir, take me to a nearby mobile phone store. Thank you.”

The driver looked up and down at Liu Jin’an’s hospital gown, his eyes lingering on the wounds on his face for a while. “Are you sure you don’t want me to take you to the hospital?”

The driver was quite nice.

Liu Jin’an sat in the passenger seat by himself, looking sorrowful as he said, “I’ve fallen in love with a man. We grew up together, and we love each other, but my family doesn’t agree. My dad gave me a severe beating. My mother took away my mobile phone and refused to let me contact him, forcing us to break up.”

The driver’s expression was surprised at first, and then regretful. “How could this happen? Don’t be sad. Your parents are doing this for your own good.”

It could be seen that the driver was also a good man, and he did not refuse the ride because Liu Jin’an said that he liked men.

The car started and went straight to the mobile phone store.

On the way, the driver couldn’t help rubbing the steering wheel and finally asked, “What are you going to do?”

Liu Jin’an said without thinking, “Go buy a mobile phone and contact him first. From now on, we will take it one step at a time.”

Just as the red light turned on, the driver pulled on the handbrake and advised him earnestly, “You are still young. If you run away from home like this, your family will be very worried. If he is your sweetheart, then he probably won’t be much older than twenty. What ability does he have to take care of you?”

Liu Jin’an lowered his eyes and sighed. “But without him, I would die.”

Green light.

The driver hesitated to speak. The mobile phone store was not far away, and he didn’t have much time left.

The driver parked the car next to the mobile phone store and said in an experienced tone, “Back then, I also had a boyfriend. I thought we would be together forever. Unexpectedly, he betrayed me and went back to my hometown for a blind date behind my back.”

Liu Jin’an gave the driver a look of pity. “Then I am better than you. He will not betray me, because his name is freedom.”

He stuffed a thousand yuan into the driver’s pocket, opened the car door neatly, and got out, leaving only the driver’s handsome back.

Driver: “…”

Was this kid okay?

.

At the mobile phone store, Liu Jin’an randomly bought a mobile phone, declined all insurance services, and only applied for a phone card.

According to the content of the novel, he pressed the string of numbers that he had memorized repeatedly.

“Du-du–”

There was a busy sound in his ears. Liu Jin’an pursed his lips tightly, and his heartbeat had never been so fast as at this moment.

One second, two seconds…

Time seemed to slow down countless times, and every second made him extremely tortured.

Finally, he heard a man’s deep and hoarse voice coming from the phone. “Who is it?”

A bright light broke through the thick clouds, penetrated the dense dark clouds, and descended into the world.

Note

It kinda remind me of that dokja novel, although I haven’t read it yet, but the concept is there. Interesting.

*Porcelain deal is hitting someone while holding a cheap porcelain, then asking for money claiming it was expensive.
