As Ultear had expected, when Roy and his group entered the temple and saw Deliora sealed in the massive ice, Gray's emotions erupted.

At first, he exchanged heated words with Lyon, and when neither could outtalk the other, they started fighting.

Before Deliora was unsealed, Uru's two disciples were at each other's throats.

Ultear, who had withdrawn to a shadowy corner and was hiding behind a support pillar as thick as seven or eight meters, felt immense pleasure in watching this.

"Did you see that, Uru? This is the good disciple you protected with your life after you abandoned me!"

A twisted expression spread beneath her mask as she felt a thrill of joy mixed with a tinge of madness in her eyes.

Suddenly, Ultear saw a tall figure walking toward her.

Due to her transformation into a short, hunched figure, it took a great effort to look up and make out the face of this towering individual.

"What does this guy want?"

Recognizing Roy as one of the people who had come here with Gray, Ultear was surprised.

In her perception, though the man before her was tall, his magical power was minimal, comparable to a bean sprout in contrast to her own strength. She could easily crush him.

Ultear couldn't understand why this man would dare approach her.

"Who are you?" she asked curiously, despite her wariness.

Hearing the rough and unpleasant voice, Roy frowned as he looked at the short figure with the demonic mask.

From his memories, he realized this was probably a woman in disguise.

The magic in this world was truly incredible to allow such perfect deception.

But that didn't matter to Roy. He wasn't going to hesitate just because the person was a woman.

In fact, the repugnant appearance only made Roy's punch heavier.

"You want to know my name?" Roy asked with a calm smile as he took out a Dragon Knight card box and held it up in front of Ultear.

"...I'm just a passing masked rider."

Ultear narrowed her eyes, gazing at Roy with hesitation. She felt confused and couldn't quite place the source of her unease.

"This guy… what's going on?"

Earlier, Ultear had been watching from the shadows, feeling confident that no one here was a match for her.

She wanted to watch Gray and Lyon fight to the death, but now, facing Roy—whom she sensed was very weak—something in her heart skipped a beat, and she felt an unexplainable sense of dread.

She couldn't figure out where this feeling was coming from.

"Contribute your justice points!" Roy muttered internally as he slid the card box to his waist and called out.

"Henshin!"

His body struck a casual yet arrogant pose, hands relaxed at his sides.

In the next instant, mirror-like shards exploded in the air, swirling and enveloping Roy.

His large red eyes blazed with bright light, gleaming brightly even in the dimness of the temple.

"Now, I'll punch you."

He said this calmly as he darted forward like a dragon.

The air erupted with a booming sound as Roy's agile form covered the ten-meter distance in an instant, charging at Ultear.

With a swift punch, he struck.

"Boom!"

The thick support pillar, several meters in diameter, was shattered by Roy's punch and sent flying.

The entire temple shook violently with a loud crashing sound.

Everyone, including Gray and Lyon, who were in the middle of their brawl, looked over in shock at the commotion.

What they saw was Roy standing among the wreckage of the pillar, still in his punching stance, with the frail, short figure of Ultear clutching her face not far in front of him.

Ultear, feeling the wet warmth on her hand as she held her face, felt her anger boil over.

Though she had managed to avoid Roy's attack at the last moment, the gust of wind from his punch still struck her, tearing her mask and leaving a long cut on her left cheek, blood pouring from the wound.

While Ultear never cared about her looks, her pride in her appearance as a woman had now been shattered.

"You bastard, you'll pay for this!"

The voice that had previously sounded rough and old now shifted back to its original, sweet, youthful tone.

Though her voice cracked with emotion, it was clear that her voice had returned to its natural, pleasant sound.

Of course, for Lucy and the others, this was more than a little disturbing.

A skinny, short man suddenly speaking in such a beautiful, feminine voice?

They all felt a chill run down their spines and involuntarily shivered, goosebumps forming.

Their eyes filled with disgust and revulsion as they looked at Ultear.

The scorn in their gazes only made Ultear more furious, deepening her hatred for Roy.

With a wave of her right hand, the magic effect of her transformation faded, and Ultear returned to her original form.

Today, she would make Roy regret provoking her!
