HunterxHunter: Reborn With Crazy Potential

Chapter 49: Chapter 49: SnowballedxReturn

Over the past few days, almost all of our family's personnel has made it to our new camp or at least died trying. Currently, only one person is left out alone trying to make it back.

If the last survivor doesn't turn up soon I may have to call in the order to pack up and leave without him. It's already been 5 days since we came here and that means I'm about to miss teaching Gon and Killua about Nen.

I am more experienced and versed in Nen and opening aura nodes with Ren than Wing so I should as a responsible guardian would, be there to do it and make sure nothing goes wrong. Even if I know that they will not be hurt by anything wing does.

In other matters, I have confronted the gossipers and dealt with the situation that may have spread if I had let their way of thinking reach the others.

All of the children are acting crazy about their training. Sometimes in the middle of the night, I sense some of the kids sneaking out of the camp to go off and train Ten. I guess my little white lie may have snowballed into them thinking if they don't use Ten 24-7 they will die, but it's fine though just an even better reason in their eyes to train harder.

Eh, I will find the time to tell them it was a lie sometime in the future but for now, they can think that a little bit longer. No harm done unless one of them trains too hard and drains themselves of all their aura.

Just as I'm thinking this, another figure appears in the distance, this one small but getting bigger at an alarming rate. As the little dot gets closer, I can see more and more of what it's wearing. It has white hair and is wearing blue. The blue looks sort of like a formal kimono. "Oh my God! It's Gramps!" and he has a very serious look on his face.

Going out in front I welcome him with a very nice big smile. When he gets close enough I start the conversation with a "Welc.." before he interrupts me saying in a dark ominous tone, "Save it. Are you the one who pissed off the phantom troupe by slaughtering all of Meteor City?"

"Well uh yes you s..."

"You actually did that? It's gotten so big even with all of my effort I can't cover this crap up! Why the HELL would you do something like that!!!" he yells. I watch as he puts his hands in a prayer position. He does it so fast it looks almost in slow motion. the last thing I see before I go flying nearly a mile away is a giant golden Budha palm approaching my torso.

Luckily for me, I saw the hands going up or I would have been squished like a bug. Even though I protected myself with Ken and enhanced shadows I still got a few scrapes. The power of that Hatsu is unlike anything I think I could fight on this level. Well I mean I could most definitely beat him using 'infinite domain' but then I would probably die from some snake or something out here and I don't want to die in a stupidly dumb way again, most definitely not by being suffocated by snow.

When I get back to camp it looks like most of Gramps's anger has been gotten out by punching me that far of a distance but he still looks a bit annoyed and the serious look has yet to leave his face. "So Gramps I guess you heard about that huh?"

"Damn right, I heard about it. Half the Zodiacs are pissed that I'm not allowing them to go help the 'survivors' even though I told them there are none."

"Why is it that big of a deal, I thought that nobody but big-time officials and the mafias know about Meteor City?"

"Pariston 'accidentally' leaked the fact publicly that people used to live in Meteor City. I was able to cover up his 'mistake' quite easily but not before it got to the ears of the V5 and now they are on my ass about it. Currently, many political officials are saying that they are trying to 'help' or more precisely recruit any survivors in Meteor City. Then there's the fact that the phantom Troupe is in Meteor City right now killing anybody who enters." He says a solemn look growing across his face. "So why the Hell did you slaughter 8 million people?"

"The Phantom Troupe attacked my base and tortured everybody gruesomely. All the women and Nicholas have been killed and now only 14 members of the original over 40 are here and alive. There is only one unaccounted for." To this, he just sighs and rubs his temples in a fashion, not unlike a very old hokage.

"Okay, next question why the heck are there a bunch of children where you're hiding out and why are they all using Nen?" He asks with a confused look spreading across his face as I feel him extend his En.

"Don't worry about it, Gramps," I say.

"The heck with don't worry about it. Who are they, why are they here, and what are you doing with them?"

After a few minutes of glaring back and forth, I finally relent. I go on to tell him the full story behind the children. "So you know I slaughtered all of the adults in Meteor City, but these are most of the talented children that were left behind. In total, I took about eight hundred thousand children, and these are all the talented ones."

"I plan on raising them and making them into my own personal army to do whatever with in the future. They all know Nen because I may have possibly opened all of their aura nodes and then whoever couldn't naturally grasp the concept of Zetsu without me telling them in one hour died or more precisely I had Hanzo kill them."

In the middle of my explanation for the kids being here another slightly smaller figure appears in the distance. This one is closing in at a much slower pace than Gramps did.

"Everybody get your belongings we are going to be heading out in a couple of minutes!!!" I yell getting the attention of the full camp. After saying that me and Hanzo go up to meet the final member of our family.

"Welcome, I hope your journey has been well Ahanu," I say as a greeting. "Be ready we will be moving out within the next few minutes you are the last of the family who was unaccounted for so we were only waiting on you."

Once we all pack up and get ready to go I mold a platform with seats made from the shadows. In total, there are 133 seats on the platform, 114 for children and 19 for adults or at the very least more grown children such as myself.

The platform is more of a disk-like shape and it hovers above the ground using constant wind pulses from a propulsion system on all sides. When I insert my Aura into it the shadow machine will use thousands of tiny holes to suck in air and then release it out in a quick burst from whatever direction I want.

To ensure that we are not stopped on our way I add an extra detail, a Hunter Association Logo on the side of the disk. We all climb onto the hovercraft and just sit while a shadow dome forms over our heads encasing us completely in darkness.
