Pepper is now much calmer. Although she is still worried about Tony, she is not as anxious as before.

Moreover, Happy is just outside the stadium with a portable suit of Iron Man armor, ready to support Tony at any time.

"Jaxon, are you sure nothing will happen to him? Ever since you gave him the Water of Life, he's been taking more and more risks."

"No, Happy is here, and I am here too. We can support him at any time. As long as he doesn't die on the spot, he should be fine."

Pepper relaxes a little. She trusts Jaxon unconditionally.

The race has started, and Tony is already off, enjoying his racing journey. Although it's not as thrilling as flying in his Iron Man suit, racing is still an exhilarating activity for him.

Tony is thrilled and races ahead as soon as the race begins. But as the racers compete, danger lurks.

A man in work clothes enters the track under the watchful eyes of the crowd. The audience is stunned; this is a high-speed racetrack, and getting hit by a race car would be deadly.

This scene is also being broadcast. Everyone has a bad feeling.

Sure enough, the man positions himself in the middle of the track, tearing off his clothes to reveal an Arc Reactor.

This man is wielding two long whips powered by the Arc Reactor, and they look dangerous.

"Oh, damn!"

"Something's about to happen."

"What is that person doing?"

Pepper hurriedly contacts Happy, "Happy, get the case to Tony, now!"

Pepper is so anxious that she can't sit still.

"Jaxon, this guy has an Arc Reactor. He must be here for Tony. We have to get to him."

"Okay, you go ahead. If there's a problem, I can get there right away."

Pepper rushes off, while Jaxon continues watching the TV screen, closely monitoring the situation.

At the same time, Jaxon notices Justin Hammer in the crowd, licking a lollipop and staring at Whiplash's Arc Reactor with a greedy smile.

Jaxon has no intention of intervening right away, even though he could gain some destiny points by lending a hand. But it wouldn't be much.

It's better to let Tony handle this himself. If he can't even deal with Whiplash, what's the point of discussing bigger threats in the future?

Whiplash stands menacingly in the middle of the track, wielding his electrified whips.

Soon, the racers complete their first lap and return to the starting point, only to find someone blocking the road.

One racer sharply swerves to avoid him and crashes into the protective barrier on the side of the track. Though not fatal, it's dangerous.

Some racers don't react in time and end up heading straight toward Whiplash.

Whiplash swings his whip, slicing a car cleanly in half with frightening power.

Jaxon frowns as he watches. It's absurd that Whiplash hasn't even been scratched. The "villain buff" must be helping him avoid harm.

More cars face accidents as they pass Whiplash. When Tony rounds the corner, he notices the chaos up ahead and quickly realizes something's wrong.

Reacting swiftly, he crashes into the protective barrier on the side to stop himself.

After climbing out of the car, he has to face Whiplash directly. The electric currents coursing through the whips make it clear he's outmatched without his suit.

As the whips close in on him, Tony dodges in panic but ends up falling to the ground.

Seeing a damaged car with fuel leaking from its tank nearby, Tony forms a plan.

While Whiplash is momentarily distracted, Tony makes his move, dodging out of sight.

When Whiplash's electrified whip strikes the gasoline, it causes a small explosion, allowing Tony a brief moment to get away unscathed.

Whiplash is unharmed, but the explosion slows him down. Tony knows it won't stop him for long—he needs to get his suit.

At this moment, Happy arrives on the track, much to Tony's relief.

With the suit, he'd stand a chance.

Happy, seeing Whiplash's whips sparking with electricity, drives at him cautiously. He doesn't want to kill the guy, just knock him down.

Whiplash's whips hit the barrier, leaving him momentarily trapped.

Tony runs over, "Happy, are you okay?"

Happy shakes it off, "I'm fine. Knocked him down, didn't I?"

Happy keeps talking, but Tony notices that Whiplash is back on his feet.

"If I don't get my armor on, I won't survive this."

"Where's the case?"

"The case!" Happy, snapping out of his daze at Tony's shout, answers, "In the back seat!"

Tony rushes to grab the case, but Whiplash swings his whip again, slicing off the car door as Tony narrowly dodges.

With the severed car door in hand, Tony looks like a modern-day Captain America. But instead of using it as a shield, he throws it at Whiplash to buy time.

As he's about to reach the case, Happy notices Whiplash's movements and slams his car into him again, harder this time. The impact sets off the airbag, leaving Happy momentarily dazed.

Whiplash takes a bigger hit this time.

Tony seizes the opportunity, grabs the suitcase, and starts putting on his armor.

As the armor assembles around him, Whiplash recovers and slices Happy's car in two with his electrified whip.

Happy, shaken, watches in horror from the driver's seat, realizing that if the whip had hit him directly, he'd be in pieces.

In about ten seconds, Tony has his armor on. He kicks the remains of Happy's car aside, freeing both Happy and Whiplash.

Tony raises his hand, palm cannon charged.

But Whiplash gives him no time, lashing out and wrapping his electrified whips around Tony's arms to stop the palm cannon from firing.

The two clash, and Tony finds himself at a disadvantage, with Whiplash's whips restraining him.

The electric current damages Tony's portable armor, leaving him in a vulnerable state.

Jaxon, watching from the screen, shakes his head at Tony's struggle.

"Tony, you're doing this all wrong."

"Even though you're in the suit, you're supposed to be a ranged fighter."

"Whiplash's weapon is a whip, with only a few meters of reach. That's melee range."

"You're a long-range specialist, yet you're going toe-to-toe with a close-combat fighter. Are you trying to throw the fight?"

"Are you in your rebellious phase?"

"Keep your distance, and use that to your advantage!"

---

Finally, Tony manages to outmaneuver Whiplash, breaking free from the whips. Now out of range, he unleashes a barrage of punches, battering Whiplash into submission.

Grabbing Whiplash's Arc Reactor, he examines it briefly before crushing it.

The realization dawns that someone else has created Arc Reactor technology. Iron Man armor is no longer unique, which is concerning.

Not long ago, Tony had to fend off the government's attempts to confiscate his technology.

Now, with another Arc Reactor in play, things have become even more complicated.

"Tony Stark, you lose!" Whiplash taunts as he's taken away.

Tony watches him go, silent and contemplative.
