I am Thor

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: The Underworld King

Wilson Fisk—a prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist with a sterling public reputation—is well on his way to becoming New York's next mayor. With his round face and slightly stocky build, many see him as a simple, honest man. But beneath this facade lies the ruthless leader of New York's underworld: the infamous Kingpin.

Many are deceived by his appearance, believing him to be just a businessman. In reality, over 90% of Fisk's body is pure muscle, granting him extraordinary strength. Known for his fighting prowess, Fisk can punch through walls with his bare hands, and he ranks among the world's top fighters. Even Captain America would struggle to match him without enhanced abilities.

With his muscle-bound strength and tactical cunning, Wilson Fisk is often called the "low-profile Hulk." Despite his fearsome reputation, however, like many villains, he has one soft spot: his beloved wife and son.

"Your Highness, Thor—I owe you a debt I can never repay," Fisk said gratefully, adopting the honorific title as he addressed Thor. "Vanessa told me what happened. If not for you, I might have lost my family tonight."

Thor glanced briefly at Fisk's wife and son, who stood nearby, still visibly shaken from the encounter.

Fisk noticed Thor's look and responded immediately. "Take them home," he ordered his men. "Clean up the alley, make sure the police hear it was a gang fight, and handle everything discreetly."

With that, his men ushered his family out. Once they were gone, Fisk turned back to Thor, his normally cold demeanor softened by humility. "Whatever you need, Your Highness, I'll do my best to fulfill it. I owe you that much."

Thor gave a wry smile. "Should I call you Wilson Fisk or Kingpin?"

Fisk stiffened but quickly responded. "Your Highness, if you wish me to be Wilson, then I am Wilson. If you wish me to be Kingpin, then that's who I am. I would even give you everything I have, if that is your will."

It was an astonishing display of deference from a man known to strike fear into even the most powerful criminals. Thor nodded, recognizing why Fisk had risen from nothing to become one of the most influential underworld figures.

Fisk's offer was calculated. He knew Thor had no interest in ruling his criminal empire personally; without Fisk's unique influence, any attempt to control the underworld would likely crumble into chaos. Instead, by allying with Thor, Fisk saw an opportunity for unprecedented security and stability.

Thor shook his head. "Only you can be king of the underground, Fisk. It wouldn't serve me."

Fisk looked visibly relieved. "Thank you, Your Highness. Whatever you need, simply ask, and I will make it happen."

Thor nodded approvingly and tossed him two small vials. Fisk's eyes widened as he caught them.

"Is this… undiluted Extremis?" he asked in shock. Unlike the diluted versions on the black market, the true Extremis formula was rare and nearly impossible to obtain. General Ross had received only a few batches, and fewer than twenty pure doses existed. Fisk had previously managed to obtain only one vial through various methods, and now Thor was giving him two more.

Clutching the vials, Fisk felt a rush of gratitude. With these, he could protect his family better than ever.

As Thor turned to leave, Fisk pulled out his phone. "Transfer ten billion dollars to Thor Odinson's account," he ordered, his voice filled with conviction.

The agent on the other end nearly dropped the phone at the amount.

Back at the manor, Thor received the notification of the transfer and smiled with satisfaction. Fisk's value was beyond measure—not only for his immense wealth but for his unique ability to operate within both the legal and criminal worlds. With his influence, Fisk controlled most of the underground network in the United States, held sway over numerous officials, and even had considerable leverage over sections of the FBI.

Originally, Thor had planned to approach Fisk directly, but tonight's unexpected encounter had simplified things. Fisk had instinctively positioned himself as Thor's subordinate without asking for anything in return, even sending an enormous sum of money as a gesture of loyalty. It was a shrewd move that would ultimately protect Fisk's power base while sparing him from any potential clashes with the Avengers.

Thor knew that by claiming this alliance, Fisk's position as Kingpin would only become more secure. With Thor as his silent ally, Fisk's empire would be shielded from interference and gain a strength that few could challenge.

Author's Note: The timeline in this story diverges from the movies, with events taking place in a different order. For example, the Hulk storyline occurs before Iron Man, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier happens before Thor: The Dark World. This setup allows key events to unfold earlier, such as General Ross's search for Hulk and HYDRA launching Project Insight due to the protagonist's influence.
