I am Thor

Chapter 150: Chapter 150: A Wise and Mighty Leader

"See? You don't even have to do anything, and people throw money at you! All thanks to my wisdom and charm!" Thor boasted, lounging in their hotel room after their visit with the Collector.

Nebula and Minerva exchanged glances, knowing better than to respond. They'd learned that when Thor's narcissism flared up, silence was the best approach.

However, Nebula couldn't hold back her curiosity. "You still haven't told me—why are we really here?"

"Take a guess," Thor replied, smirking.

Nebula rolled her eyes, fighting the urge to punch him. In truth, Thor was following up on a quest from the system, staying in Knowhere and waiting for the perfect moment.

Suddenly, the system voice echoed in his mind: "Congratulations! You've triggered a Star-Lord-related mission: Destroy Dad. Completing this mission will earn you a reward."

Mission Description: "Defeat the adoptive father, the biological father, and the father-in-law. Star-Lord is the ultimate father-killer—prove it!"

Mission Objective: Defeat or kill any two : Yondu, Ego, and Thanos.

Mission Reward: Alien Arena Challenge Ticket.

Thor's eyes widened. The rewards were unusual—an "Alien Arena Challenge Ticket" was new. So, I won't get the prize directly? There's another test involved?

The mission's difficulty, however, was clear. Yondu could be defeated easily enough, but the second target would be much harder. Ego was practically invincible, and Thanos, the ultimate boss, was even more formidable.

But Thor saw the potential. Challenges with tougher requirements often came with more generous rewards.

Well, I'll find the right opportunity, he thought, feeling energized by the new mission.

While Thor had been enjoying his mission on Knowhere, things on Earth had grown intense. The day after Ultron's creation, he had attacked Trudheim Manor, attempting to kidnap Dr. Helen Cho to force her to create a new body for him. But he'd underestimated Carol. In under a minute, she had dismantled the attacking robots, reducing them to scrap metal. Ultron, frustrated, realized Carol was not only strong but nearly invulnerable; her energy blasts barely left a scratch on her.

Ultron retreated to his next best option, enlisting another scientist to help create a second body. But with Helen Cho out of reach, he was forced to use lower-quality materials. Despite his efforts, the altered metal composition and mismatched colors of his new body exposed its flaws. Worse, before he could complete the process, the Avengers attacked, forcing Ultron to flee once more. His abandoned, unfinished body was now in the Avengers' hands.

Tony, staring at the half-finished body, suddenly grinned. "I have a bold idea!"

Everyone in the room immediately turned, alarmed.

Tony quickly clarified. "Remember how I told you I was experimenting with creating artificial intelligence? This time, I want to use my own AI. You all trust J.A.R.V.I.S., right?"

"J.A.R.V.I.S. is dead," Bruce Banner reminded him.

"Not exactly," Tony explained. "When Ultron tried to destroy J.A.R.V.I.S., he only managed to scatter his code. J.A.R.V.I.S. protected himself by fracturing into pieces. He may have lost some memory, but his core remains intact."

The group fell silent, considering his plan. One by one, they nodded, their objections fading.

The next day, Tony invited Helen Cho to help him with the project. The process was moving smoothly until Carol made a suggestion.

"Vibranium is the strongest metal on Earth," she noted. "But in the universe, there are plenty of stronger materials. As a vessel for the Mind Stone, this body needs an extra layer of security."

As she spoke, memories of Thanos flashed through her mind, recalling how her attacks had barely left a mark on him. The holder of the Mind Stone would eventually face him; it would be wise to be prepared.

"But where are we supposed to find stronger materials?" Jane Foster asked jokingly. "You're not about to chip off a piece of Mjolnir, are you?"

Carol shook her head and reached into her bag, producing a small, emerald-colored alloy. "I found this on the other side of the galaxy. It's far tougher than any metal I've encountered. Unfortunately, it's the only piece I have."

The Avengers' eyes lit up, recognizing the potential of the alloy. But Tony, always sharp, couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this mysterious metal than Carol was letting on.
