I was reborn as a villainous aristocrat, but to be honest, I’m having too much fun with magic – I’m creating all kinds of unique magic, and before I know it, I’m going to be the next Demon King!

Chapter 11 - Shocking Revelation

The “Apostles of Arinasia” is a game that can be divided into two parts.

The first part is a so-called school game set in “Cadonic Magic Academy”.

The main character develops his skills through classes and assignments, while also getting to know the female students. There is an impression that a warm atmosphere continues throughout.

On the other hand, the second part begins on the day of the graduation ceremony of  “Cadonic Academy of Magic”, when the Demon King, encouraged by my father, Doroius, declares war on the human kingdom.

This is the dark part of the story, where a real war is depicted, a complete change from the typical school game.

And Christina, my favorite character, is the first character to join the main character’s party in the second part.

All of us who have played “The Apostles of Arinasia” are indebted to this character.

She is a dual-wielding unit who is good at both physical and magic, and her stats grow fast.

However, what makes her the strongest is her passive skill, [Chantless Magic].

For those of you who are wise enough, you will understand how powerful she is just from these words.

Chantless magic users are always strong in any story.

Originally, in this game, when you use magic, you need to consume at least one turn to chant the magic. However, Christina is an exception.

She can immediately cast her magic.

Hmm, a cheat character no matter how you think about it. She must have been liked by the producer.

It’s no wonder that the strategy sites says to never remove her from your party.. I mean, no matter how much you don’t know about the game, you won’t leave her out.

Christina joins the main character’s party for a reason similar to that of some martial artist, “I want to fight someone stronger than me.”

That said, she is not a fighting maniac, but a cool beauty who is always calm and collected and acts like an elder in the party.

I liked Christina.

I certainly love her performance, but that’s not all.

She has pure white hair that reminds you of fresh snow. She is slender and tall. And above all, her devastatingly beautiful face.

To be honest, her presence probably accounts for about 40% of the reason why I played “Alinasia’s Apostle” for dozens of weeks.

It’s been a few months since I was reborn in this world. I knew that one day I might have the chance to meet her face-to-face.

–But this turn of events was both unexpected and unforeseen.

“Master Friedrich, are you nervous?”

“Hmm? Ah, ah… well…”

Right now, I was standing at the main gate of the Asmodai family mansion with Hecate.

Doroius asked me to pick up Christina, who had graduated from “Cadonic Academy of Magic” and was coming back today.

As Hecate could tell, I was extremely nervous right now.

My face was tensed up and my body was shaking from time to time. It’s obvious at first glance.

“This is the first time you have seen each other in a year. So I don’t think it’s unreasonable.”

“That’s right…”

However, the reason for the tension is not because it is an emotional reunion.

(Am I going to meet Christina now?)

Christina.

She is my beloved character, my favorite character that I had in my party in all my rounds of play.

I have more feelings for her than any other character, maybe even more than the main character.

Meeting such a person may be similar to actually meeting your favorite actress, who until now you could only see on TV.

However, while I was nervous, I also had a big question.

The question is, is Christina really Friedrich’s sister?

As I mentioned before, in the main story of “The Apostles of Arinasia”, there is no mention of Friedrich having siblings, and I don’t recall Christina, who joins the main character’s party, ever mentioning such a thing. The backstory was that she was a beautiful, mysterious woman.

Indeed, Friedrich, who becomes the mid-boss at the end of the game, and Christina, who joins the main character’s party, do meet, but at that time Friedrich was already brainwashed by Doroius and had no self awareness.

…Hmmm. I don’t know.

But something is bugging me.

I loved Christina. That’s why I remember quite a lot of her lines, although I don’t remember them word for word.

I seem to remember one questionable action by Christina, or maybe not….

“Ah, I can see it.”

Hecate’s words brought my consciousness back to reality and I looked beyond her line of sight.

Then, I saw a horse-drawn carriage running along a well-maintained road.

Eventually, the carriage stopped in front of us, the driver got out, bowed to us, and opened the carriage door.

“……”

I was captivated by the person who appeared from there.

Her hair was pure white and crimson eyes casting an icy stare.

The bridge of her nose was high, and her pale red lips were tied into a straight line.

There was no mistaking it.

She was Christina, though a few years younger than I remembered.

“…”

Christina looked at me and Hecate alternately, but then she seemed to lose interest immediately, and she turned away and started walking toward the house.

I opened my mouth in a hurry.

“Oh, welcome home. Sister Christina.”

Christina, who had been walking at a brisk pace, stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to face me.

“…”

Christina looked at me with cold eyes.

However, I could read a hint of surprise in his eyes.

“…Yes”

However, that was all she answered and she quickly went inside the mansion.

“…Could it be that Master Friedrich doesn’t get along well with your sister?”

Hecate whispered that against my mouth.

Even if you say that, I don’t know.

But I remember Christina now.

In those cold eyes, there was a feeling of contempt, or disgust, or just a feeling that they were looking at me with a negative impression.

I don’t know when Friedrich became a lazy person, but judging from that reaction, he might have been like that even before Christina entered the academy.

(…However, her eyes exuded a little warmth in that last glance she threw at me.)

At the dining table, which until now had only been occupied by me and Doroius, a new person had joined us.

Of course it’s Christina.

Although she was eating with beautiful gestures, she didn’t look happy at all.

“…Christina. How was the academy?”

“…It wasn’t particularly interesting.”

“I see.”

“……”

Eh! What’s with this atmosphere? I want to go back to my room!

The only sound that could be heard in the dining room was the sound of metal clinking.

There was not even the slightest sense of a family atmosphere.

The atmosphere is better than this even when you share a table with a stranger at a coffee shop.

“I heard that you kept your Asmodai surname a secret at the academy.”

Doroius suddenly said that.

Concealing Asmodai’s surname? You mean you hid your own surname?

“…Yes. I thought that if people knew that I was from a noble family, the classes would be less lenient.”

Christina said this in a brief, cold voice and quickly returned to her meal.

Doroias stared at her intently, wondering if he had something to say about her words and actions, but when he received no response, he meekly returned to his meal.

…What can I say, it’s like a father trying his best to talk to his adolescent daughter.

Well, since Doroius is the final boss of this world, I don’t think it’s a funny reason.

“…”

I stole a glance at Christina, trying not to be obvious.

Frankly, I’d like to talk to her too.

Of course, I do!  Christina is my beloved character!

Do you think you wouldn’t want your favorite character to appear in front of you as a real person and talk to you? ?

Anyone who thinks that I’m lying. I will cut you down myself.

Ah, I want to talk to you. I want to talk to my favorite character. To be honest, I want to become friends.

But Christina probably doesn’t like me. I, Friedrich, am lazy and violent.

But I want to talk…But what if I get turned down? but…

Just like that, a week passed by without me being able to talk to Christina.

“Haa… haa… zee… gebooo… ah…”

“Please stand up, Master Friedrich. At this rate, I don’t know how many hundreds of years it will take for you to defeat me.”

“There’s no way I can win against you…”

It’s been a week since Christina came back to the mansion, and today as well, I was being squeezed by Sariya at the training grounds.

“…However, Friedrich-sama today doesn’t have any ambition. No, I should say recently, not today. Did something happen?”

Was there something wrong?

It was, of course, about Christina.

It had been a week since she had returned. I still haven’t been able to have a decent conversation with her.

Christina was being Christina, and it seems that she rarely leaves her room.

“Master Friedrich seems to be troubled about what is going on with Miss Christina.”

Hecate reveals my worries without hesitation.

Well, it’s not like I’m hiding it, so it’s okay.

“Ah, so it is about Miss Christina? She recently returned home.”

Saying that, Saria made a slightly gloomy expression.

“Both of you were very close when you were young, but…”

“Eh?”

We were very close.

There is no need to ask about who with whom.

“Master Friedrich was still young at the time, so it’s probably not surprising that he doesn’t remember her. However, he was just like a baby bird following Miss Christina all the time, and it was very cute.”

“Friedrich did…”

t is a sight that is hard to imagine. It’s hard to believe that Friedrich, who had a harsh attitude toward everyone, was such a cute shota.

As I was imagining a scene which no one would believe, Sariya muttered in a disappointed tone.

But I couldn’t hear a word what she was saying.

“However, from the looks of it, Miss Christina still has thoughts of leaving the house…”
