I'm the Villainess in the Apocalypse

Chapter 9: 9. Heavy Rainstorm (2)

Anna pushed all thoughts to the back of her mind.

What she needed to do now was to cook some food because she's very hungry. Her cooking skill was not very good because as the daughter of a rich family, these tasks were usually done by the servants.

It was only now that she had to do it herself.

Of course, the end result was a burnt food.

"Honestly, I don't think I have any skill for this." Anna felt that she was truly useless. She could only sigh and took her phone and downloaded various guide steps to learn how to cook.

Thankfully, rice could be cooked with rice cooker.

If it had to be done manually, Anna could guess that she would never be able to finish this task.

'How about if I took the food from the space…'

Anna looked at the space and then shook her head. Most of the food that was inside the warehouse were all either instant food, snacks, or raw food. There was no cooked food among those items.

After all, who would store cooked food in the warehouse?

There were a lot of frozen meat and ice cream, though. The mall was stocking up and these were indispensable, so a few of the warehouse were cooling storage. They would be able to keep these foods fresh no matter how much time passed.

For some reason, she felt quite glad that her cheap father's warehouse was quite complete.

'And I can't possibly eat instant noodles all the time.'

So Anna spent the next two hours trying to cook some simple dishes. It was still somewhat edible but the burnt part was bitter.

It was not very delicious.

But from the moment she was thrown out of her house, she had estimated that this would happen. She could hire someone but it could only be the plan after this heavy rainstorm passed.

No one would want to come out during this time.

After Anna finished eating, she walked to the window and observed the rainstorm. It was hitting the window violently and seemed to be trying to break inside. If not for the good quality of the window, it feel as if they would break at anytime.

At the same time, Anna couldn't see anything aside from water.

The range of visibility must be extremely low.

'Now, let's just rest and tomorrow I'll clean up again.'

The items in the space was still a pile of mess. It might take some time for her to finish cleaning up.

Anna sighed and went to bed.

Unaware that the world is slowly changing outside.

The next day, she woke up early and went to the space to clean up after a simple breakfast. Luckily, she could still make a poached egg or she would have to start the day being hungry.

Her plan for the day was interrupted by the ring of the bell.

Even if she was in the space, she could still hear the sound and see things that happened outside.

To be honest, it looked quite magical.

The more Anna knew about this jade space, the more she felt the world is truly mysterious.

But she didn't think too much about it for now.

Tep.

Coming out of the space, Anna peered from the hole to see who is outside. She could see a red haired girl standing with a muscular man behind her. The familiar face was definitely very recognizable.

Anna quickly opened the door. "Lucy! You're back."

"Of course I was going back!" Lucy snorted. "If not because I was worried you have fallen asleep last night; I would have long coming last night. Why did you not answer my message?"

"Ah?" Anna thought about her miserable experience of trying to cook last night and showed a bitter smile. She tossed her phone far away after that and didn't check it again, so she must have missed Lucy's message. "I didn't see it."

Lucy looked at Anna with the look of 'I have guessed it.'

"It's only been half a semester, but you look thinner." Lucy looked at Anna up and down. "Did that partial father of yours mistreat you."

"It's a long story. Did you not read the news?"

"I read it and I have to say that he deserved it!" Lucy snorted in annoyance. If not because she was still on the plane when the party was held, she would have long stormed to Mr. Williams' face and smacked him.

Anna was still very polite to him and only retorted with words.

If it was her, she would not care about the so called politeness and instead smashed a fist directly to the man's face.

Treating his daughter like that, did he forget how he rise up in the first place?

White eyed wolves!

Afterwards, Lucy saw the news about Mr. Williams' misery and she had to applaud the thieves. It was not like she wanted to support criminals, but she felt that Mr. Williams deserved this.

Hmph!

"Are you okay? You have been following that b*stard for years." Lucy was more worried about another matter.
