Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

After one whole night had passed, everyone had decided to return to the castle of the Paladia Knight Kingdom. Inside the carriage that was used as an envoy was filled to the brim with chaos. Keith, Wesley, and Audrey were meme-ing around Draxus who was sitting in between two princesses of different countries. Arlesk was talking to Pantheon regarding his abilities. "Princess Olivia said that you guys aren't under the king of Quisterion. May I know just what you guys are exactly?" Arlesk brought out a small orb of light before explaining. "In terms of our position, we're currently working as a separate organization that's cooperating with the king. He asked us to assist them in the goal of [World Peace], an alliance with this country would make us get one step closer to that. As for our abilities, Draxus and I, along with another person who is settling in the Quisterion castle currently, are disciples of our leader. The three of us are able to bring out powers to the utmost limit. All of our abilities are created through a certain method called [Conceptualizing Magic]. That way, we can create original kinds of magic and use them freely." Pantheon pondered for a little bit while letting out a mutter. "[Conceptualizing Magic]...?" Arlesk nodded and gave an immediate reply. "Yes, after constant training every since we got summoned, we're able to utilize abilities to the extend of being able to fight against the most threatening opponents in this world." Pantheon turned his gaze back up to Arlesk before turning it to Draxus. "In comparison, how strong are you guys?" Arlesk who saw his gaze turn toward Draxus pondered for a bit before giving an answer. Upon a closer look, Pantheon has features that make him look like a handsome young knight with blonde hair and blue eyes. It was like the classic [Knight in shining armor] template which made Arlesk do an internal retort. "In terms of abilities, Draxus was able to fight against the hero party of Quisterion in a battle and won alone. The three of us are pretty much equal in some regards but against our leader, even the three of us together are doomed to lose now that he has attained magic." Pantheon widened his eyes before letting out a comment. "It seems that we're lucky to have formed an alliance with the country to connect us..." Arlesk made another internal retort "Deja vu!" but kept his composure. The talk then continued on as they traveled towards the castle. However, Draxus who was playing mahjong with Keith, Wesley and Audrey were sweating badly. The other girls only had idle chatter while the two princesses are watching intensely. Draxus was only waiting for one more tile to achieve the most painful victory that he could ever inflict. He was maintaining a poker face while the other three are pondering deeply. "There... *thok*" A small sound was made while discarding the tile. When Draxus found took a look at the tile, he immediately grinned and revealed his set. "[Great Winds] fuckers!!! I ain't lettin you guys take the crown from my mahjong skills." The other three had simple and unfinished hands as they turned their gazes at Draxus with extreme shock. "This is what you get for meme-ing!" With a smug face, Draxus had taken back his pride of getting a lose streak against Keith, Wesley, and Audrey. The chaos inside the carriage kept getting worse until they arrived at the castle.

"It is wonderful that our country had been saved by the messengers of the kingdom of Quisterion. We are grateful to the country who had sent such powerful people." The knight king let out words of relief as he looked around the audience hall with the retainers that had gathered. "As I have explained, these people act independently like adventurers. They only volunteered to act as the messengers but they are moving with the same goal as my father." The introductions had already completed and finished most of the formalities. They still remained in the audience hall as the knight king showed a wry smile. "In that case, how may I reward these people?" The [Otherworldlers] group were wearing formal suits and clothing. Draxus got his white polo and cerulean jacket with white fur on the hood. Arlesk had his light yellow polo and his pendant hanging from his necklace. Draxus has the white headset which he had never brought out for quite a while. Keith wore a gray suit while Wesley wore a black blazer along with formal wear. Lily and Julie were standing behind Draxus to the left while Wesley and Keith stood behind him on the right. Hecate and Amber were standing on the left of Arlesk. Olivia handed the letter while Arlesk let out some words due to the question. "There is no need for us to accept anything from you your majesty." Draxus then added up Arlesk's statement. "We only did our actions out of nothing but goodwill. We're glad that the country is safe." Arlesk grinned a little and showed a teasing face before raising his head. Matilda was actually staring at Draxus who was wearing the headphones ornament for the very first time. On the royalty side, the king was found there along with the queen, prince, and princess. Behind the king was his prime minister and the hero. "It seems that it really is true huh? To be able to defeat the [Hero of Balance]... And the one who repelled an army of thousands of soldiers alone just for my daughter, I have heard how strong both of you are through my daughter and Pantheon and it seems that she had been held captive." The knight king was grinning a little as he turned his gaze to Matilda. "She used to practice swordplay so much that I thought it would be difficult for her to find a spouse. What about it? Sir Draxus will receive my daughter if he wants to." Draxus who realized the flow of the talk couldn't say anything to refuse it, so he went with his mind that told him. "No guts! No glory!" He then answered properly. "If Princess Matilda herself is okay with it, I will gladly accept her as wife in the future country that will be developed by my master." With a bright smile, he turned his gaze to Matilda. Olivia was smiling with a face that was saying: "Our companions will increase~" Draxus didn't seem to notice but it was pretty much noticeable for Arlesk, so he opened his mouth. "Our powers will eventually make various countries to see Quisterion as a threat, so the plan is to leave that country and establish a new one on the [Mythical Lands] once our two month training is over. There's only two more weeks remaining on our training period but we will be able to freely travel within countries that we have visited to using our magician's gate magic. That way, we are able to host meetings for our plan to fully reunite the entire world in an alliance." Arlesk brought out the topic of their position to skyrocket. "By the way, the venue of where the kings will fully confirm the alliance...?" The knight king turned his gaze to Olivia. "It will be in this castle, the [Otherworlders]'s magician, Harold will be the one to send my father here." Olivia smiled and responded positively. "Wonderful, then everyone will be staying here so that we can celebrate the engagement between the [Azure Knight] and Sir Draxus Heimdal." Keith, Wesley, and Audrey immediately raised their hands while grinning. "Are we allowed to leave the castle for the moment, the three of us would like to buy something." The king instantly allowed them which they sent their grinning faces towards Draxus. After the meeting was adjourned, everyone went into separate places. Draxus, Olivia, Matilda, Lily, and Julie went around to explore the castle. Keith, Wesley, and Audrey went outside the castle to purchase a bunch of wine bottles with a huge sum of money. They were showing ominous smiles which gave Draxus a terrible premonition. Arlesk went to a guest room with Hecate and Amber and are now playing poker while discussing things. "You two have already gotten accustomed to the rules of this huh?" Hecate laughed a little while revealing her cards. Amber was showing a wry smile while feeling a little heavy. "Sorry for dragging you guys to war... Arlesk got in big trouble against the [Hero of Balance], and yet you said that you still don't mind. I don't really understand why you're okay with pushing yourself..." Amber lowered and revealed her cards this time. Arlesk lowered down his cards and gave a pat on her head. "It's because that I don't want either of you to be sad." Arlesk extended his other hand to pat Hecate's head. "You see, ever since we've met I really don't want either of you to be hurt in any way whatsoever." Arlesk immediately pulled their heads closer. He then gave both of them a forehead kiss which caused them to blush. But after getting comforted by Arlesk both of them had very happy faces to display to him. The three of them were happily chatting with each other as the two girls had blushing cheeks.

None of them ever noticed the hidden camera Draxus had hung near the window to record any developments.
