Wesley sent out multiple shadows throughout various places. That way, he was able to set up various surprise attacks in case Elliot tried to distance himself. However, due to the [Humid Web] Elliot brought out, the plan was easily seen through. "You really thought you could escape the grasp of my [Humid Web]?" Strings of water began their second attempt to wrap Keith all over. Keith simply activated his [Chronopause] and dodged out while the time is stopped, causing Elliot to be wide-eyed in surprise. "!!!" Wesley immediately noticed the expression and shot a few rubber bullets straight towards Elliot, but all bullets lost their momentum due to water. Keith followed up by using his kusarigama to throw off the positioning of Elliot as he swung the sickle. Elliot dodged the sickle by dashing to the side and unleashed multiple waves of water towards the group. Most of them dodged the attack while Audrey blocked it with nature magic to absorb it completely. With that timing, Elliot moved around quickly as he submerged down to the ground once more. "Ghh! Annoying skills!" Mitch adjusted his angle as he tried to locate the traces of magic. After finding Elliot's position, he was about to fire even if it was a little late. "Got you." Elliot closed in and tried to swing his water sword while erupting a lot of wires to prevent Mitch from attempting any dodges. "That's just your imagination." Mitch stopped time and repositioned himself once more before firing a bullet that's nearly unavoidable. As time continued, a bullet pierced through the left arm of Elliot which made him writhe from pain. "Khh!" Without wasting time, Keith immediately used [Chronopause] to close the distance while Wesley swapped with the shadow that managed to approach the shaken Elliot. Before the two began their flurry of endless attacks, they let out classic words of goodnight which were taken from certain shows. "Hasta la vista..." went out from Wesley's mouth while "Hell to you!" Was let out from Keith. Keith's earth spirit began striking Elliot with a flurry of punches while Wesley who was at the side of Keith's earth spirit began attacking with daggers. They advanced forward while continuing the flurry as Elliot continuously stepped back as he continued to avoid all the strikes that are coming to him. He was using the [Humid Web] with utmost perfection to sense all the incoming threats and block them. After some time, Elliot ended up losing his balance and used that opportunity to submerge into the ground. The two who are one-sidedly attacking him reflexively stopped and entered a state where they're on guard while maintaining back-to-back formation. "I can fully sense you! There is no escaping!" Audrey channeled a thick amount of magic which got the attention of Elliot. She was instantly surrounded with strings of water but Viceroy jumped in and used the paravolt rod to dispel the strings with electric magic. After having her safety ensured, Audrey brought out arcane magic and launched it at the exact timing Elliot reappeared. "Guu!!" After being struck with arcane magic, Elliot became dulled down for a few seconds which was a vital opening. Viceroy took that chance and tried to land a hit with the paravolt rod but Elliot managed to recover and distance himself with the assistance of [Humid Web]. Just like Keith and Wesley, the two of them entered a back-to-back formation and readied themselves for any possible attack. Elliot moved away from them and tried to aim for Mitch who actually fired a few dangerous shots towards him. All of which were cleanly avoided and blocked by his [Humid Web]. Knowing that he will be targeted, Mitch stopped time and repositioned himself behind Keith and Wesley, since Elliot submerged into the ground, he could only hope that things will go decently fine if handled properly. In the meantime, Keith was able to move in Mitch's time stop so he used that chance to get behind Elliot. He then brought out the earth spirit and his kusarigama to be completely ready. After the time began to continue moving, Keith used the heavy spiky ball and got it wrapped around the arm of Elliot. After catching his arm, he then sent a flurry of strikes using his spirit of earth while Wesley moved his shadows to beautiful positions. Before long, the [Humid Web] itself was dispelled which got Wesley to fire bullets while constantly swapping locations after Keith distanced himself from the battered Elliot. Within a split second, Elliot tried to escape the area by temporarily dissolving into water and submerging and succeeded nicely. Keith and Mitch tried to give chase but due to the surrounding bullets that was avoided, those began flying around which made the two stop the time and prevent the others from getting hit instead. "Dang, he got away with that huh?" Wesley sighed out with a little frustration on his mind since the target he was entrusted with managed to escape their grasp. He then told the other members to perform a temporary regroup as they're pretty much in a bad position. "Our cover is blown, so we don't particularly have any choice but to charge into them now." The rest of the group nodded in response as they began moving at a quick pace towards the direction which they followed Elliot's group.

At the same time, in some empty base was Begona and Chris who was filled to the brim with utter rage. They were discussing on who the assailants of his dead brother are in irritation. "Just who would do this to him!" Chris yelled at the bottom of his lungs inside the empty house as they opened a small hatch under the mat to the underground areas. They then arrived to a room which has normal furniture unlike the one on the surface having ragged objects. One person then entered the room through the door in the underground. It was Duke Elliot who was bruised everywhere on his front body. Blood was splurging out and some bones were smashed down completely. "Elliot!" Begona rushed towards him and began healing Elliot with magic and first aid equipment from a dimensional pouch. "The [Sentinels]... They're powerful... They're almost as strong as how I fought Draxus before..." Begona and Chris widened their eyes to the information. After a few seconds, Chris snapped and tried to leave the basement area while shouting. "Fucking [Sentinels]! I will kill you all!" Begona pulled his arm and placed her hand on his face to channel some energy and temporarily calm him down. "Be dazed~..." With mental manipulation magic coursing through his mind, Chris felt dazed and lost his emotions until Begona dispels the magic. She then continued healing Elliot and gathered info. "What kind of abilities do they have?" Elliot recollected what he gained through that battle and described the abilities of each member that he remembered. "One person controlled shadows... Those shadows could attack and be swapped with him... With his skills and commanding methods, he must be the leader of that operation... Another one was able to control spirits... That person continuously beat the hell out of me after locking my arm with a weapon I've never seen before... He managed to get..." Elliot coughed out blood as he noticed approaching presences within the area. "Remove your presence... Quick..." They opened their equipment which was made by some people from the [People of Earth] organization. They were heartbeat sensors that can detect from a wide radius. In a low tone, Begona asked Elliot regarding the abilities of other members. "One was crazy of how skilled she is on magic... The way she used arcane magic was too strong... I tried shutting her down with [Humid Web]... But another guy defended her skillfully... I didn't see him use any magic though... He could be a threat... The last guy was a sniper, he's by far a threatening one to most of our group since he can stop time along with the guy with the spirits... We should stay here for a while and avoid them..." Begona nodded in response to Elliot as the markers in the heartbeat sensor moved away from their location. "Phew... That was a close one... Let's head to base at once." Begona took out the equipment as Elliot carried the dazed off Chris. They then entered a different room which contains various kinds of carpets. They stood on one carpet and channeled some energy before getting teleported to a different underground location nearby after getting covered with thick light.

Wesley, who was above ground and using magic to sharpen his senses, noticed the faint magic that was used underground. He immediately alerted the group and told them to return to the old house in which they investigated. "Let's go back to that house real quick, I have a bad feeling." The rest of the group accepted Wesley's idea and thoroughly investigate the old house once more. Mitch went to the kitchen room and turned up all the carpets found in it. There, he found the entrance down to the underground area. "Guys! I found the entrance downwards!" With a small shout, every member in the group heard Mitch and looked for him in the kitchen. Wesley told everyone to follow after him as he climbed down the ladder. After reaching a certain point, they arrived to the underground room where Begona and her group was in just a few minutes ago. "Dang, they sneaked out on us." Wesley clicked his tongue in frustration and told everyone to search the rooms thoroughly. The underground rooms consist of various things from the world that they came from. A flat screen tv, a nice couch, a beautiful garden with artificial sun and sky, some information that didn't particularly exist in the old world. After that, Wesley noticed traces of magic in the room filled with carpets. After turning over almost every single carpet, he found a teleport pad and called in for the other members to get there.

"So guys, I think all four of you will have to remain here to guard this thing. I'll leave a shadow as well so I can swap back in case of emergency, but I'll have to explore this alone since we might get caught. Keith, back me up on the surveillance room. Let's do this, mission impossible style." Keith and Wesley showed fearless smiles as they exchange a fist-bump to each other.
