Multiplying Explosive Tags is a crippled version of Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags. It doesn’t copy the Explosive Tags infinitely and creates several copies depending on Chakra. Still, it is pretty useful.

The last two techniques are what Kakashi promised me. One C and one B-Rank Genjutsu. False Surrounding Technique is not really great, but it has its perks. When used right, it can create wonders.

One such example is what I'm doing right now.

Hokage Tsunade was sitting behind her desk, and Tazuna, a worn-out-looking bridge builder from the Wave Country, stood in front of her. Team 7, consisting of myself, Koushin, Naruto, Hinata, and our Sensei, Kakashi, were lined up in the room, awaiting our mission assignment.

“Hokage-Sama, did you ask for me?” The drunken old man asked while looking around, bewildered.

“I did, Customer-san.” Tsunade said and cleared her throat, "Tazuna-san, your request stated that you needed a team of Shinobi for a simple escort mission. Is that correct?"

Tazuna nodded, "Yes, that's right. I need to be escorted back to my country safely."

Tsunade nodded sagely, “I wanted you to meet with your escort.”

We smiled at the old man. He looked with scorn and berated, “These brats? I asked for a Shinobi, now wet behind the ears, kids.”

“I assure you Tazuna-san, my team is more than enough for the mission.” Kakashi didn’t like others to undermine his team. He was proud of us, so he got mad. “And I am a Jounin of Konoha. Whatever you have trouble with, I shall deal with it.”

“If you say so.” Tazuna reluctantly accepted it.

“Maybe you are not comfortable with us kids because you are hiding something?” Naruto asked with great wisdom. His wise-blue eyes locked on Tazuna, searching for his soul.

“What are you talking about?” Tazuna nervously sweated. “Just bandits.”

“Are you sure?” Hinata asked with puppy eyes. “It might end with our demise.”

“You heard them, old man, say it. Is it a simple mission as you said?” I pressed.

“No! Fuck no!” Tazuna fell to the ground as he held his face in pain.

Tsunade played along, feigning concern, "Tazuna-san, you must tell us the truth about this mission. Is there something you're not telling us?"

Tazuna hesitated, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, "I... I can't afford a B-Rank mission. All I can pay is C-Rank. I just hope any Shinobi you send can deal with whoever Gato sends."

"Do you know the man known as Gato?" He asked with his face sour.

“The underground boss of Wave Country?” Kakashi asked.

Tazuna sighed, finally revealing the truth, "Gato is an underground boss in Wave Country. He's causing our people to suffer from starvation by depriving us of food so we couldn’t resist him. Our only hope is the bridge my team and I are building, but Gato learned about it and threatened us. He killed those who resisted."

I smirked and caught Tsunade's eye, giving her a subtle nod. She caught on immediately, and I deactivated the Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique. The room shifted, and everyone appeared to be in a different part of the room.

Tazuna looked around, confused, "What's happening?"

Tsunade frowned, "Why didn't you tell us this from the beginning?"

Tazuna looked at the ground, ashamed, "I didn't think you'd help if you knew the real danger."

“I win, Hokage-Sama.” I cheekily smiled. The talk happening between my team and Tazuna was my Genjutsu.

“You did, brat.” She sighed and pointed at me. “This brat noticed you were lying about the mission description. He came to me and said my Shinobi are slacking off and wasn’t assessing missions correctly. Of course, I didn’t believe it.” Tsunade explained as she showed me. “He bet with me. Said he would prove you were lying, and you would come clean even if it costs you your country.”

"How did you know?" Tazuna asked.

"I guess I'm just a good judge of character," I shrugged.

Tazuna sighed, "What now?"

"Now, we will accept the mission," I smiled.

Naruto jumped in excitement, "Yes! Finally, a mission that isn't just boring D-Rank stuff!"

Tsunade looked troubled, "I'm still not comfortable with the idea. This mission is far more dangerous than a C-Rank mission."

Kakashi raised his hand to placate Tsunade, "Don't worry, Hokage-sama. We'll make sure to keep Tazuna-san and the rest of the team safe."

Tsunade sighed, finally relenting, "Fine. But be careful, all of you. Gato is not someone to be taken lightly.”

“It's gonna be fine. Who could Gato find on such short notice? An S-rank missing-nin?” I said while Kakashi looked at me with a weird, penetrating gaze. Did I raise a flag or what?

We all bowed and thanked her for her trust, and then we set off on our mission to the Wave Country.

As we traveled, I couldn't help but feel giddy with my new techniques. I can't wait to use them on those fuckers. Oh boy, how will they look when they realize they have nowhere to run.

Kakashi noticed my excitement and approached me, "Koushin, remember to stay focused. It's good to be confident in your abilities, but don't let it cloud your judgment."

I nodded, taking his words to heart. "Understood, Kakashi-sensei."

Our first test came sooner than we expected. As we traveled along a dirt road, Hinata activated her Byakugan and spotted something unusual. As she was about to speak, she saw Kakashi signaling her to not, so she nodded slightly, and looked forward with a small blush on her face.

As we approached the suspicious puddle, Kakashi deliberately didn't alert us to the imminent danger, probably wanting to test our preparedness. I mean, this time, Tazuna explained everything so there was no need to see who Demon Brothers were after. He just walked by without giving anything. However, with Hinata's Byakugan, my knowledge of the situation, and Naruto's heightened awareness, we weren’t regular Genin who would fall for such tricks.

Just as we passed the puddle, the Demon Brothers sprang into action, dashing out with their deadly chain weapons. Fuck, this is annoying. Kakashi still feigned his death, using the Kawarimi no Jutsu to replace himself with a nearby log. He watched our fights from a safe distance, his single eye narrowed in concentration. Naruto and I launched ourselves at one Demon Brother each, while Hinata stayed back, focused on protecting Tazuna.

Naruto and I engaged our respective opponents in fierce combat, our blows fast and furious. Naruto's improved skills were evident as he expertly dodged and countered the Demon Brother's attacks, forcing him on the defensive. I, too, found myself pushing my opponent back, my newly learned techniques giving me the upper hand. Should I just go Rin on them and steal their hearts? Nah, no need to traumatize our Sensei.

As the battle raged on, Hinata remained vigilant, her Byakugan active and her body tensed, ready to defend Tazuna should any threats come their way. Tazuna, for his part, looked both awed and terrified as he watched the young Shinobi fight.

After several seconds of intense fighting, Naruto and I managed to subdue the Demon Brothers, leaving them battered and defeated. It was evident that our teamwork and individual skills had improved significantly since our days of struggling with D-Rank missions.

Kakashi finally revealed himself, a proud smile hidden behind his mask. "Well done, all of you," he praised. "Your abilities have grown, and your teamwork is impressive."

Naruto grinned, pumped with adrenaline. "That was awesome! We took those guys down like it was nothing!"

Hinata blushed at the praise but nodded in agreement. "We were prepared and worked well together."
