Koushin: Konoha’s Dragonborn[Completed]

“Good job, Hinata, Naruto!” I shouted as I arrived and saw all the thugs were beaten and bound by seals. Naruto was taking Fuinjutsu Classes with me. And being Uzumaki helps with seals. Although a little idiot, Naruto learned quite quickly. A simple seal to bind simpler thugs was nothing for him.

“Good job guys.” Kakashi eye-smiled as he patted Hinata and Naruto.

“Sorry, Sensei. I couldn’t bring myself to kill them.” Naruto stared at the ground as he said. “I know I have to, but I just couldn’t do it.”

“It is fine, Naruto. You will get there.” Kakashi nodded. He knew naiveness would kill a good Shinobi on the battlefield, but against thugs, Naruto had the privilege to spare them.

“We needed Gato alive anyway.”

“You mongrels defied me! The God of this pitiful country!” Gato shouted from the high stage. A bodyguard with a blade was near, protecting him. Poor people of Wave Country were watching with hatred and desperation.

“You want to build a bridge, huh? Without my, your GOD’s, will?” Shouted the short man. “You, behind my back, hired Shinobi from other villages with the money I bestowed upon you!”

“For this! I will shred all of you into the pieces! I will kill your children in front of you to teach you that you shouldn’t defy your GOD’s wishes!”

Poor citizens shivered in terror, as the guard walked down from the stage to pull one of the children.

“You shall not touch my kid!” The child’s father shouted as he jumped on top of the guard. The man was weak and feeble, but the fire in his eyes was hotter than hell flame.

“He is alone, get him!” The father who had jumped on top of the guard shouted while wrestling with the guard.

Citizens rallied with newfound hope and started to dash at Gato. Gato reeled back in fear but too afraid to run away. In no time at all, he was swallowed by the angry citizens. Punches, kicks, jabs rained on his short body.

After 10 minutes, Gato was lying on the ground, bloodied and dead.

“Well done, Koushin,” Kakashi said from not far away.

“Thanks, Sensei.” Koushin gazed at the relieved citizens and the killed Gato on the ground. In the beginning, he was playing Gato and rallied citizens, awakening their will to resist for one last time. The guard was just a clone while the angry citizen who jumped on him was Kakashi.

After rallying the citizens, just when he was about to be drowned by hundreds of angry mobs, he switched places with Gato who was tied to a tree not far from him. The rest was easy. After struggling this long, citizens were more than happy to kill this vile man.

Of course, Naruto and Hinata weren’t there. They were still too soft to scheme something like this.

“Seems like it is my turn again,” Kakashi said lazily and Henge into the angry father once again.

“My fellows, Gato is dead!” He shouted with gusto.

“YEAH!” Citizens copied his zest and shouted too. He raised his hand to quiet down the people.

“Now that this vile man is dead, we should get what was ours back!” He shouted.

“Yes!” Citizens cried.

“His base is not far from here! Let’s go and take the money and valuables. Then we gather here in the city center to present them to Tazuna-san. He was the only one with the guts to battle against this vile man while we were all scared and hidden like beaten dogs.”

“YEAH!”

“People of Wave Country. Please take note that, Tazuna-san has Shinobi with him, beaten all of Gato’s men. It was them who gave us this opportunity and shall protect us until the end. But let me warn you, if you try to steal from your fellow citizens, it is the vilest thing you can do, and I personally punish you!”

“Let’s go.”

“Tazuna-san, you can move to the city center. People went to ransack Gato’s base and will return with his riches. It should help you get on your feet once again.” Kakashi explained. From the beginning, Tazuna was taken away. When Naruto arrived, one of his clones took him away from the battlefield, just in case he died from a stray Shuriken.

He didn’t see Gato and his men getting beaten, nor did he see the play staged in the city center.

“Thank you very much, Kakashi-san and the kids. I am sorry that I undermined you when we first met. You were great heroes who saved the whole country! I will always be grateful.”

“Say nothing of it. It was our job.” Kakashi smiled. Genins too smiled brightly. It felt nice to help people.

“Alright, let’s go and finish the mission.” Kakashi led them to the city center and by now, citizens were carrying everything they could to the center and were greeting Tazuna. They dropped whatever they were carrying, be it money or valuables in front of him.

“We have won!” Tazuna cried as he looked at the people’s smiling faces.

“YES!” Citizens shouted all together.

“We will be here until the bridge is finished, so Tazuna-san, please gather everyone can help with it.” Kakashi reminded people that they were there because of Tazuna.

“Alright.” Tazuna nodded and talked to his people. In no time at all, people gathered their tools to move towards the bridge.

“Kakashi-san, we found 21 bases spread all around the Country. The main base cleared out of Weapons and illegals. We left money and food as you ordered. From the other 20 bases, we were able to gather more money and drugs.” An ANBU appeared from Kakashi’s shadow and reported.

“Good. Take them all to the village.” Kakashi nodded.

“Yes, sir.” The ANBU vanished as if he was never there. With it Kakashi left the wall he was leaning on and walked towards celebrating mobs. A week after Gato’s death, the bridge was finally completed. With the help of other citizens, the almost finished bridge was completed very quickly.

After the mission ended, there was nothing else Team 7 had to do, thus they left.

“Tazuna-san, what should we name the bridge?” asked one of the citizens.

“Hmm, Great Bridge of Seven.” Tazuna nodded after thinking for a while. He wanted to name it after two Genin saved him and his family, but the other two risked their lives to battle against those strong enemies.
