Koushin: Konoha’s Dragonborn[Completed]

“Good afternoon, Koushin-kun.” Hinata greeted.

“Good day, Hinata. How was your week? Learned the new Jutsu?” I asked while we both were waiting for Naruto.

“Hmm, I made good progress, and only short of mastering it.” Hinata nodded with confidence. She was learning a Jutsu that would help her apprehend her opponents without hurting them, what else could she ask?

“I am glad.” I smiled. “Thanks to you, I mastered my Jutsu as well.”

And it was true. Although I would probably get it sooner or later, seeing Hinata training gave me lots of ideas, and cleared out confusions.

“You are a genius, Koushin-kun. You helped both me and Naruto. You could have done it without me.” She praised while looking down, depressed.

“Don’t sell yourself short. You are a prodigy too. It is just that your character is not favorable in combat.” I commented. When I noticed her face was sour, I added. “I don’t mean it is bad. You are a kind person and I respect that. In this twisted world where murder is the norm, you are a kind spirit. I wish you always stay as you are.”

“Hmm, thank you, Koushin-kun.” She smiled brightly.

“Man, Naruto doesn’t deserve you,” I commented as he appeared.

Just then, Naruto showed up, looking a little confused. "What's all this about me not deserving someone?"

“You gotta up your game and pamper her more, Naruto. You are too dense for Hinata.” I shook my head.

“But I already do!” Naruto protested. “Just yesterday I gave her Ichiraku 50% discount coupon.”

I facepalmed, held myself back from thrashing him around. "Discount coupon for ramen? Really?"

Naruto's face went red, but he stubbornly defended his actions. "Hey, it's the thought that counts, right?"

I just shook my head, chuckling. "Whatever you say. Let's get to the exams."

After scaling the stairs, we stopped at the second floor. Two 'Genin' were waiting in front of the classroom ‘301’ while Rock Lee was getting his ass handed to him.

I looked at Naruto and Hinata, as we slipped through them. Team 8 was there, with Rock Lee already in the middle of a heated argument with Kiba. I smirked, imagining the hilarity that would ensue once he would challenge the dog-boy over Sakura. Shino was aware there was a Genjutsu but he was too stoic to remind others, so he was just watching.

‘Heh! I guess Lee will fight against Kiba or Shino for Sakura instead of Sasuke and Naruto. Should be fun to watch. But we will not meet with Gai this time.’

We didn’t mind them and moved to the third floor. There, Kakashi was waiting for us. After wishing good luck, we walked in. It was just as it was in Anime. Lots of people, heavy atmosphere.

“Pumpkin-chan! Where are you!” I shouted as soon as we entered. Everyone was looking at us and Hinata looked intimidated. So I wanted to dispel the gaze on them. Now, all the people in the room were looking at me weirdly. “Sweet Pie!”

“Please stop,” Shikamaru said as he walked towards me with Ino and Choiji.

“Oh, Lazy Ass and Fat Ass!” I smiled at them. “Been a while.”

“Yo, Smart Ass, what’s up?” Choiji greeted.

“Troublesome!” Shikamaru muttered under his breath.

“Kou.” Ino greeted silently.

“No, no!” I shouted. “What did we talk about a week ago? What are you going to call me?”

She looked super red. As if her mind was churning and her brain was about to explode but after a while, she muttered barely.

“Prince Muffin.” She whispered.

“I didn’t hear you!” I shouted.

“PRINCE MUFFIN!” She shouted back.

“That is my pumpkin!” I hugged her.

“Disgusting!” The rest of the class looked at us with disgust.

“Meh, single dogs. Die in envy!” I commented.

“If it isn’t Rookie of the Year,” Sai commented as he walked toward. Oh yeah, he was in our class too. After Danzo died, a lot changed.

“Pale Ass!” I greeted. “And Twin Pale Ass!”

“Fuck you too,” Shin commented as he walked with Sai. The girl beside them chuckled as he greeted us.

“Yuyu-chan. How is life? Besides taking care of these two emotionally impaired brothers?” I asked.

“Well, as usual.” She shrugged. “Learning Jutsu, kicking asses.”

“Nice,” Naruto commented as others arrived as well. Kiba looked a little staggered. Probably Lee knocked some sense in his head.

“Dog Smelling Ass and Shino!”

“Hello, Koushin-san,” Shino said while looking at Kiba. “He is a little shaken. But nothing to worry about.”

“That's fine too.”

“Hello, everyone. Naruto.” Sakura walked towards the group and said hi.

“Sakura-san.” Naruto greeted back as cold as ever. I love what I did with him. The old Naruto would be all over her and she would beat him as if she owned him. I hated this pinkett. Sakura looked at Naruto, Hinata, Ino, and me as she sighed and moved back.

"Hey, Hinata-sama, everyone!" Neji and his team approached us, their expressions friendly and open. Since Naruto and I had pranked Hiashi, Neji had undergone a complete transformation. Now, he was much more respectful towards Hinata and the rest of us, and it was refreshing to see.

As the minutes ticked by, more and more familiar faces arrived. Among them were members of Team 5. This team, like Sai’s Team 3, consisted of orphans. But Sai and his crew were snatched away by Danzo at a young age and only after his demise, had they been liberated. The members of Team 5, however, had always been in the orphanage, and our interactions with them had been less than pleasant in the past.

When we were younger, they would often give me the cold shoulder and outright bully Naruto. Despite the hurt they'd caused, Naruto had found it in his heart to forgive them. Unfortunately, due to the lingering influence of the matron who had raised them, their interactions with us were still somewhat frosty. And I didn’t give a fuck about them at all.

They were near us but didn’t talk from beginning to end. We didn’t talk to them either. After idly chatting for a while, a man with glasses walked to us. As soon as I saw him, something exploded in my mind.
