Legend of the Red Eye

Authors note I don't own Yugioh or any of its characters. This Fanfic starts from episode 3 of Yugioh Arc V following a boy with a red eyes deck.

Chapter 1: The Start

It was a peaceful day in Miami city with the clear blue sky and the birds soaring through the air like jets. This was the city that seemed to have more developed in technology than the rest of the world, and its was all thanks to a card game. Yes, Yugioh duel monster card games seemed to be the centre of attention these days. With competitors duelling for the number one spot. Duels were happening all round the city all the time.

Peace and quiet was present with everyone walking around doing their own business until suddenly, A bright light shown through a good portion of the streets. While everyone was still blinded by the blinding light a man seemingly walked out of it unaffected by it.

The boy wore a white jumper with a black unzipped leather jacket over it, blue pants with red and white sneakers. His eyes where purple and his unusual hair was brown with a yellow colour surrounding each brown part. He had a dark red deck box on his side and a blue bag behind him. On his left was a unique yellow and blue motorcycle.

"I have done it." The boy said. He was getting more and more excited by the minute.

"Kai Akimoto, has finally arrived in the standard dimension." He shouted to the heavens. People around him started looking at him like he was crazy.

"Now I just need to find these guys." Kai said as he took out of a piece of paper out of his motorcycle and looked at it.

The names read the following: Declan Akaba, Yuya Sakaki

(The rest of the story will now be mostly in first person narrative of Kai)

I breathed a sigh as I just slumped on the floor, tired. I had been searching all over the city for Declan and Yuya everywhere, but I have had no luck so far.

"Tch how hard is it to find two random people, u say, kai. Now look at u sitting here all lost" Kids started walking past me and I realized I was Infront of a school.

"Haha Yuya is so stupid, sleeping in class what a loser." said a random girl in what looked like school clothes to her friend beside her.

'Yuya.' I thought as I rushed to my feet.

"uuuh, excuse me miss." The girl looked at me. It took a second for them to realise I was talking to me as they looked at me up and down. I figured they had concluded that I was cute to them because the two girls started blushing.

"Y-yes." she stammered out

"You just said the name Yuya right, you know where I can find him?"

"He is right there." the other girl said, pointing to a group of people. "He is the boy with red and green hair".

"Oh ok, thanks" I said as I rushed over to them.

"Wow, that guy was so cute, I wonder if I should ask him if he wants my number."

"You totally should".

With the group

I decided to listen from afar instead of just going up towards them. In the group there seemed to be three kids who did not look like they go to the school and three older kids one girl two boys. One of them had a white jacket and smelled like he had way too much cologne. The other girl seemed to be wearing pink from top to bottom, even her hair was pink, while the other boy had red and green hair a white jacket and green pants.

"There is no need to punk up his ego, its already about to burst as it is," said the pink haired girl.

"Seriously, you're a sensational duellist Yuya." Said the cologne guy.

'I wonder why this guy be meat ridding him. Though at least it confirms that other guy is his son, no doubt.' I thought as the pink haired girl whispered something to Yuya.

"If you're planning to demonstrate your pendulum technique then I have access to the most ideal venue, an hour from now you can showcase your talents at the Leo institute, you'll take centre stage on their centre court".

'Hold on, did this guy just said Leo? As in Leo Akaba. No, this cannot be right, there is no way Leo Akaba has an organisation in both dimensions, maybe it just named that because of his son Declan. Hmm... also what is a pendulum technique?

"I've already reserved a place, i happen to be one of the institutions top students." he gloated, "My father is also expected to be the cities next mayor, so I definitely have influence with the schools' higher ups."

'This guy seems fishy. The way he gloats and talks does not reflect his attitude at all plus how has he already reserved a space if he is just asking now. He must have already known he was going to meet Yuya and planned this from the beginning."

"I don't see why Yuya can't do his demo at our school." voiced the girl, venting her frustrations.

"It should be a new experience, plus I heard the Leo institute has a great snack bar, we have got to check it out," Said the excited round kid with the other kids nodding along.

"Urgh, fine then but I'm coming along too as the only loyal student from You Show, I want to check out our top competitor." Said the pink girl as the little kids cheered.

"You are all more then welcome to join us and now, auvwovwa".

Everyone rushed off leaving the cologne guy.

"Hmm, it's all going according to plan." he said evilly, not noticing me leaning on the wall behind him.

I sweat dropped. He changed up quick. I should definitely tag along and make sure nothing too bad happens plus I can't just let Yuya disappear after I have finally found
