The rays of the sun shone brightly into the dimly lit room, reflecting on Oceana's face as she slowly peeled her eyes open. She stretched and yawned before climbing out of bed

"Big sis!" Leo rushed in excitedly and Oceana furrowed her brows was he all so energetic? And how come he was awake this early? "Where's your father?"she asked and Leo tilted his head in deep thoughts "cooking pan cakes !"he finally said and Oceana nodded as she stood up catching a glimpse of her reflection in the mirror she sighed deeply "big sis…. Take me with you I don't want to go with grandma….. wu….wu" Leo cried softly, Oceana couldn't help but glance at him slightly. "Did you do something wrong?"she asked directly, she wasn't used to kids especially the act of cajoling them was something she couldn't see herself doing "no!"he hurriedly shook his head "why then don't you want to go with grandma?" She asked a little bit curious about what went on in this kids head… she didn't know his likes or dislikes "I like big sis more!"he answered resolutely, Oceana couldn't help but chuckle

"Go meet grandma to get you ready…. I'll take you with me then" she said to him and he nodded before running off happily. Oceana glanced at the door the kid disappeared through before going about her business

"You should wait for breakfast" Lester spoke as he walked over, she glanced at him briefly without a hint of emotion as she made her way to the bathroom for her bath. She washed her face and brushed her teeth before going in for her bath

The soap was mild scenting as she liked it, the water was warm and soothing to her skin. After a few minutes she stepped out draped in a towel "Leo!" Irene shrieked loudly

She got dressed quickly, a hoodie, sweatpants and a pair of old shoes , the peace and tranquility in her life had been disrupted since that woman showed up, she sighed

After getting dressed she arranged her bag and walked out, seeing the commotion between Leo and Irene she couldn't help but pinch her brows, she could definitely feel an headache coming on "mum!"Lester stared at Irene with a small sigh escaping his lips

"I already agreed to take him out" Oceana said to her that woman to smoothen things as she took out her special black coffee and begun to make it. "You shouldn't take coffee so much" Lester advised however she said nothing and continued making her coffee "Leo's mother is in town"Lester suddenly spoke up, he couldn't help but glance at Oceana who continued making her coffee without a care in the world

He wondered if truly Irene had birthed this child. His father was a low level elite however he had heard a few things about Oceana's father

~Brumble Lyndon~

That man was nothing like the girl in front of him, he was scheming and selfish in his ways however he had a lot of flaws which had almost made the Lyndon family crumble. Compared to his older brother

~Clinton Lyndon~

Brumble was nothing in comparison, the grace of the Lyndon's was as a result of Clinton's hard work and not Brumble's

Clinton was firm and decisive, under his guidance the Lyndon's business flourished

As he thought things through Oceana finished making her coffee and dug into the pancakes, she had made some scrambled eggs at some point which she ate with the pancakes

Once she was done she cleaned the dishes and held Leo's hand, the little fattie was all smiles like he had won a lottery "Big sis is the best" he said proudly "eh? Your big sis is always moody! I'm the one who takes care of you the most yet you're being so biased" Irene feigned anger "I love big sis the most" Leo mumbled "even more than me?" Lester asked clearly amused at his son's attitude "yep!" Leo nodded and Lester chuckled he couldn't help glancing at Oceana however the young lad was expressionless he glanced back at his biased son who only had eyes for Oceana his big sis . Unrequited love was terrible he thought

However Leo was genuinely happy "I'll

Take him tomorrow I wouldn't want to bother you anymore" Irene said carefully as she handed his lunchbox to Oceana. "He's adorable" Oceana commented and Leo grinned even more, puffing out his chest proudly "I'm the most handsome.....big sis" he said proudly, both Lester and Irene couldn't help laughing at him

He looked so adorable

"Grandma is ugly…. Dad is also ugly!" Leo pointed with a look of disgust, his nose was even scrunched up both concerned couldn't help their eyes twitching…. Their hands did wish to give his butt some spanking "they are indeed very ugly" Oceana nodded in agreement, both Lester and Irene froze

"Bye ugly people" Leo waved smiling proudly as Oceana led him out

"Mom am I ugly?" Lester asked as he took a mirror to look at himself. "Your father was so ugly it's a good thing u took my traits" she glared at him and stormed off. She was pissed at both Irene and Leo hence she made her special bath and sank into it. 'Men couldn't even think straight once they laid their eyes on me..... what do they know' she snorted as she began to scrub her body fiercely

Oceana in the other hand dropped Leo at school, the teachers couldn't help glancing at her while Leo strode in bragging to his mates about how beautiful his sister was. Oceana wasn't concerned with this things however she shouldn't deny she was starting to like this round ball, she chuckled and walked away.

"You're finally here" Cairo glanced over at her as he proceeded to carry her bag "mm" she grunted in response. "Cairo..."Nina called out, Cairo tilted his head slightly giving Nina a glance over, he wasn't pleased to see her

Nina was pretty, tall slender with an angelic face and brown watery eyes which made one want to protect her , she had an angelic charm with a coquettish touch to it. As she stared at Cairo, she couldn't help but glance over at Oceana "what do you want?" Cairo was impatient, he didn't fancy Nina Moore one bit "she.... do you like her?" Nina asked softly and Cairo frowned "what do you want Nina?" Cairo asked again clearly losing his patience. "You know I like you why will you choose her?" Nina asked her hurt was reflected in her eyes which had at some point become se moist her tears threatened to fall. " I don't like you Nina and about Oceana.... We are friends" he replied stiffly "the rumors about her....do you dare go against the Lyndon family?" Nina questioned "how's the Lyndon's family got anything to do with us?" Saki popped out of nowhere and Nina lowered her head. "The one I like is Cairo...… I won't let you have him"Nina bit her lips hard strengthening her resolve to fight for what was hers however Oceana had a passive look she didn't care what any of them thought their thoughts were their own to deal with

To her Nina was stupid for thinking she had special feelings for Cairo however what Oceana didn't know was that her picture had somehow circulated in the whole school which put Nina on pins and needles

Nina knew she wasn't the prettiest however seeing how close Cairo was getting to Oceana she was scared she'll end up losing him

But was he ever hers? She thought

"Don't bother Oceana…. Nina, we are all friends nothing more... if u have problems talk to Cairo not Oceana" Saki pulled Oceana away leaving Cairo to deal with Nina. In the past he was wowed at Nina's beauty she was undoubtedly the most beautiful girl in school however even the most beautiful girl couldn't compare to Oceana ,they headed to class quickly since they were already running late

In a luxurious villa, shattered vases could be seen everywhere followed by the sounds of more things being shattered. Brumble stared at the raging woman as she turned the whole place upside down, a frown couldn't help making its way onto his face "Do you have to be so dramatic Melissa?" He asked loudly, Melissa frowned even more her rage reaching it's peak as she slammed another vase unto the ground angrily, her eyes glaring hatefully at him

"If you hadn't cheated I won't be this angry! You just couldn't hold unto your pants! Now I'm the laughingstock of the whole city! Those nobles they mock me behind closed doors all because of that girl!" Melissa retorted sharply, his eyes were red with anger, she glared at Brumble fiercely. She wished she could claw at him or hit him however she couldn't cause he was Lyndon and she was only his wife.

Brumble couldn't help glancing down at the picture a rare smile playing on his lips, that child was nothing like him or that woman

"It's all your fault! You couldn't even inherit the family business! And those kids they sure can't break her...…"Melissa chuckled a chilling glint flashed in her eyes "are you trying to say Clinton is better than me?" Brumble frowned and Melissa snickered, her eyes stared indignantly at him "can you both stop" Tristan sighed as he prepared to walk out, his hands clenched into fist

That girl was the cause of everything!

Their family used to be loving till that woman showed up with the child demanding compensation. That day was the day his loving family fell apart

Oceana on the other hand was oblivious to the storm brewing in that household, she stared at the questions in front of her and couldn't help glaring at the professor

~professor Harris~

He couldn't help but chuckle noticing Oceana's gaze, however he couldn't lose his composure in front of the class hence he focused on the other students while Oceana bit her pen thinking deeply after a while she began to write. She wrote quickly however Cairo who happened to glance over couldn't help laughing out loud, Oceana couldn't help tilting her head slightly

She wondered what was so funny he couldn't stop laughing "your handwriting is so ugly" Cairo continued to laugh and Nina glanced over however seeing Oceana's bad handwriting she also began to laugh. "It's so ugly" she pointed out covering her lips to not attract attention however professor Harris walked over briskly

He was one to hate interruptions in his class and he was ready to punish them however he also laughed seeing Oceana's bad handwriting. Oceana on the other hand lowered her head and continued writing she wasn't particular about her handwriting anyway.

What she loved the most was painting and lately she barely had time to paint

She sighed

She wished she could paint some time soon

However painting was time consuming and she had to make money….

"It's so ugly" Tika glanced over "really ugly" saki chuckled as he ruffled Oceana's hair playfully. Though her handwriting was ugly he knew no one was perfect and everyone had their own flaws

She said nothing and continued to write

Blake on the other hand glared at her seeing her already halfway through the question, he knew that others were halfway through the questions while some were almost done however he couldn't bear the sight of Oceana being academically sound

What right did she have? He thought

Soon class came to an end and the students dispersed "You should join my club"Nina said suddenly as she stared at Oceana directly "I don't have the time" Oceana replied she could make a lot of money during the time she spent on useless things like that. "Club is compulsory this year" Saki suddenly said and Oceana sighed. "Plus we'll be going on a 3 day trip!" Cairo informed her, he was happy to spend more time with her however she was far from happy "you'll be fine"Nina pouted as she then hugged Oceana's hand. Saki glanced at Nina wasn't she so angry this morning... what changed? Cairo also had the same question

Soon they arrived the next class and Karl glanced at Oceana from her head to her toe seeing she was okay he staggered over to the board "go....sit…..quick...ly" he slurred almost tumbling over, the students all dispered not once making any sound or noise. They didn't dare offend this man

Karl may be known as the drunk professor however everyone knew how terrifying he was

"Sit" Hades patted to the sit by his side and Tika sat, she had a proud smile on her lips, she was proud of her man and today he was gonna show his prowess to the whole school in a match with another neighboring university at the field later in the day. Even more Tristan Lyndon was interested in poaching hades

She was over the moon

Karl's class was difficult, be it the tasks he gave or how the students tended to understand what he thought, all were difficult hence the class was silent filled with Karl's occasional slur or burps or whatever other things he did

Who dared?

He failed without batting an eyelid

To the students he was the worst and Oceana was no different

After the class came to an end with Karl giving them an assignment

Nina pulled them all to the field where the match was to be held

"Nina" the students cheered and Nina smiled sweetly as she waved at them, the males on the opposite school team couldn't help blushing at this beauty

"Such a slut" Brianna sneered at Nina however Nina wasn't bothered, the two were always at odds with Brianna always wanting to be better, she sat with Oceana while Saki and Cairo went out to buy lunch and when they got back Oceana ate quickly in big bites, both boys soon left to join the campus team for the match. Nina cheered them on her smile radiating causing the boys to blush and girls to gloat "who's she trying to seduce?" Some girls frowned hatefully

"Eat slowly" Nina cautioned Oceana who only glanced at her and continued eating "so stubborn"Nina giggled as she continued to eat

"You...why are you sitting next to Nina!"a group of about six girls came forward ready to pull Oceana away for a good beating "what are you doing.... " Nina frowned "Nina don't be deceived by this witch!"more students chimed in "or are you trying to go against the Lyndon family...?" Brianna asked and Nina clenched her fist "so noisy"Oceana took out a cigarette lit it and placed it in her mouth "you….. you smoke?" Nina paled "this isn't your mouth" Oceana continued to smoke ignoring them however she was violently pulled up and kicked to the ground, more students joined in

"Stop!" Nina screamed however she was pushed to the ground "stop hitting her!" Nina yelled however it fell on deaf ears the students only got even more violent "stop hitting her....." Nina struggled however no one listened

They were seated at the back and with the students blocking them no one could see what was going on

Only Oceana could be blamed they thought

"Bastards" Oceana chuckled as stood up her eyes were cold and filled with killing intent

The students faltered, their resolve trembling before their eyes. Oceana said nothing, she picked up her bag and turned to Nina "get your wounds treated" she said and Nina trembled "you're hurt too" Nina burst into tears "you don't have to worry about me I'm used to it" with that she left the field. Nina trembled as tears continued to roll down her cheeks, with the students dispersed other students came to help her while others gloated

She knew she had a lot of enemies, not everyone liked her and even the ones who did not all were genuine

Was this what Oceana had to endure?

She was only bruised yet Oceana had suffered more blows…..:

She was used to it? The words resounded in Nina's ears and she continued to cry

Oceana had to pick up Leo hence she went to his school directly "big sis!.....big sis you're injured!" He said loudly his worry couldn't be hidden "it doesn't hurt" Oceana forced a smile and Leo hugged her "big sis is the bravest.... When I make money I'll fight the bad guys" Leo swung his fist and then he began to blow air on the wounds

Oceana chuckled, she alas picked him up in her arms and walked away. "I almost couldn't breathe" one of the teachers said as they stared at Oceana's disappearing back "I almost peed my pants!"another teacher added " she's so scary!"they all concluded

Oceana was oblivious to their thoughts she bought some ice cream for Leo as well as some crackers and took him to play in the park with other kids "big sis does it hurt?" Leo asked worriedly "nope" Oceana replied seeing him about to cry she hugged him "Big sis"Leo called "mm?" She raised a brow "I'll fight them" Leo burst into tears and Oceana sighed "don't cry... I'll buy you more ice cream" she tried to cajole him, he wouldn't play with other kids and he wouldn't let her go "I don't want ice cream.....big sis sad…. Wuwu"he cried even harder, Oceana sighed helplessly "big sis can kill them" she suddenly said and Leo's eyes sparkled with interest "big sis kill them" he nodded in support,Oceana sighed "big sis if you kill them…. I'll go to jail for you"Leo suddenly said and Oceana's eyelid's twitched "killing is bad… big sis won't kill"she said to him "big sis must kill them all"Leo argued "killing is bad" Oceana sighed "they are bad people"Leo replied

The young woman by the side turned to both Oceana and Leo, her face pale almost devoid of life, with her whole body trembling however meeting Oceana's glare she ran off before she could even grab her phone to call the cops "ugly lady!" Leo spat dramatically and Oceana raised a brow clearly amused "big sis we still have to kill them" Leo added as Oceana picked him up and headed to work "we can't kill" Oceana retorted "kill" Leo pressed "can't kill" Oceana rolled her eyes and Leo buried his head into her neck, she smelled so good hence he unconsciously drifted off to sleep

"Your kid…?" Kiro asked seeing Oceana walk in, "no" she gave him a passive look before sinking into her seat with Leo sleeping on her she began to work "there's minor adjustments to be done here and there other than that, all's good" Benji said to her and she nodded her eyes still focused on the screen as she then continued tow work

After about an hour she was then made to play several video games to understand the game world better "you seem quite skilled" Tammy walked over with interest. "I played for money in the past" Oceana replied honestly and Tammy nodded whilst watching Oceana's game technique "I have an idea" Tammy squinted and Liam turned to her

He was currently busy however all ideas always led to something hence he was all ears

"What's it about?" Otto asked and Tammy smiled "Oceana's game strategy is quite unique why don't we work on that and create a challenge?" Tammy grinned and scarlet frowned she was on her 5th coffee that evening and wasn't ready for anything Tammy

The girl was a freak

"Oceana's strategy sure is unique" Teo pointed out as he studied Oceana as she played "what strategy?" Oceana asked "you're able to properly study the area and find an easy way out"Teo pointed out the obvious, Oceana tilted her head slightly "it's easier and faster that way" Oceana replied with a shrug, she wasn't about to tire herself out fighting head on when you could spot the way out

"I'll draw up the graphics"kiro grinned widely he was clearly excited "how about we all draw up our own characters and input in our character traits?" Tammy raised a brow "bruh I'll be dead before I even know it" penny muttered, the idea was fun to others however she only liked her character doing beauty care and sleep "you can just be the weak character…. I'm in" scarlet glared at Liam fiercely, she had scores to settle with him over the game "what do you think Oceana?" Otto asked "do I have a choice?" Oceana grunted and they all laughed "ugly" Leo's milky voice could be heard and Otto froze "did you call me ugly?" Otto was dumbfounded "mm… very ugly" Leo nodded "cute baby am I ugly?" Tammy walked over and Leo frowned "smelly" he scrunched up his nose as he glared at scarlet "haha" scarlet burst into laughter "cheap perfome" Leo frowned even more clearly disgusted by Tammy

"Who's the most beautiful?" Kiro couldn't help but ask and Leo turned to Oceana before pulling down her hood "big sis" he grinned as he kissed Oceana's face "she's pretty….."Otto blushed and ran up to his desk. He wasn't the only one who was shaken

Everyone was visibly shaken at Oceana's beauty which was always hidden under her hood, seeing her like this they were awestruck "are you hungry?" She asked "nope… play" he tried to grab the player however he was too small, Oceana grabbed it and handed it to him before proceeding to her other tasks at hand

She was able to clock out at 8pm, however she got a call from maleek inviting her out which she obliged to on the basis of free dinner

Arriving the diner, Oceana found maleek seated in a corner he was dressed in work suit looking neat and proper, she made her way to him with Leo in her arms and after exchanging pleasantries they ordered and begun to eat, maleek had an average look however Leo and Oceana were both good looking earning glances from others present

Leo was pale white and milky adding to his chubby body and cute baby face he was quite a sight for sore eyes

"You've had a tough day" maleek tried to converse however Oceana wasn't interested, she had cleaned up her wounds before work hence she looked better

The only disturbance she had was Leo who wouldn't let her put her hoodie on

"My day was okay…. Why did you call!?" She asked him "I felt the need to see you again" he replied honestly, Leo glanced at him "big sis don't date him" he whispered and Oceana's eyes widened, did he learn this things from his stupid father? She thought

"He has helped big sis in the past"she whispered back "oh" Leo glanced at maleek then at Oceana and continued to eat, he still disapproved of maleek

The meal was good and after maleek paid the bills they parted ways

"I'm saved" Leo smiled "you're saved?" Oceana raised a brow "grandma will make dinner and I don't have many lives left" Leo replied dramatically, Oceana grunted barely able to suppress her laughter "grandma's dish is delicious" Oceana teased. "Why do you always run away?" Leo asked the obvious "because I have to go to school"Oceana replied "nope it's because it's terrible" Leo spat recalling the slimy black liquids Irene cooked and the black vegetables his face turned deathly pale, his stomach churned

"Big sis will cook for me right?" He pouted, his fear of Irene's cooking still lingered, the little boy was traumatized "big sis isn't a good cook either" Oceana replied honestly "I'll eat whatever big sis makes" he pouted and soon drifted to sleep

Arriving home both Irene and Lester had makeup on, Oceana glanced at them before taking to e boy in to clean him up and place him in bed. They could do whatever they wanted, it was none of her business.
