Chapter 280: Chapter 279
Logan and Robin made their way through f Orochi Castle, their goal clear—copy the Poneglyph. As they moved through the dim corridors, the rest of the crew remained in the square, continuing their conversation with Hiyori.
Once Logan and Robin completed their mission, they rejoined the crew. With Hiyori and Denjiro now accompanying the Straw Hat Pirates, the group began roaming the land, seeking a way to reach the last Poneglyph, hidden deep underground.
As they traversed the battered landscape of Wano, the news of Orochi's demise and Kaido's retreat spread like wildfire. Some of the Wano citizens rejoiced, their hearts swelling with newfound hope and freedom. But others, gripped by fear of the mysterious new power capable of defeating Kaido and killing Orochi within a day, scrambled to flee, uncertain of the future.
Amid the shifting tides of Wano's fate, the Straw Hat crew found themselves face-to-face with a man unlike any they had seen before. Standing before them was a figure with wings and a Tengu mask.
"Who are you?" Logan asked, though he already knew the answer.
"I am Tenguyama Hitetsu, and I can lead you to the Poneglyph," the masked man said, his voice carrying a weight of purpose.
Tenguyama Hitetsu, known in truth as Kozuki Sukiyaki, was the father of Oden. Captured by Orochi long ago, he had managed to free himself, living in disguise ever since. Upon hearing of the Straw Hats' actions and realizing their intentions, he decided to reveal himself and lead them to the Road Poneglyph as a gesture of gratitude for freeing Wano.
Deep underground, they found the Poneglyph. Robin's eyes gleamed with excitement as her fingers brushed over the ancient inscriptions, eager to uncover its secrets. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew explored the underground chamber, marveling at the vastness and the hidden history etched into its stone walls.
Logan, curious, turned to the Tengu-masked man. "How did you know the way here?" he asked, his tone light yet inquisitive.
Sukiyaki replied simply, "I know my way."
But Logan, ever perceptive, understood the significance of the man's knowledge. He suspected why Sukiyaki wished to remain anonymous, but he couldn't help thinking that it would be good for Hiyori to have her family by her side.
"You know," Logan began, his voice calm yet deliberate, "the location of this Poneglyph is incredibly secretive. Jack of the Beasts Pirates only stumbled upon it by accident, thanks to being a Fishman. But you... you knew the exact way here without even diving into the water like Jack. Places like this are usually known only to royal families, isn't that right, Kozuki Sukiyaki?"
Logan's words hit the group like a sudden gust of wind. The Straw Hat crew, Yamato, Hiyori, and Denjiro all stared, wide-eyed, in shock.
Denjiro was the first to speak, his voice trembling with disbelief. "Lord Sukiyaki, is that really you?"
Even Sukiyaki himself seemed stunned that Logan had uncovered his identity. Finally, he sighed and removed his mask, revealing his true face. His expression was heavy with guilt as he confirmed Logan's words.
"I am Sukiyaki," he admitted, his voice low. "I've lived in hiding, ashamed of the role I played in Wano's destruction. I chose to remain anonymous as penance for my failure…"
Hiyori's eyes burned with emotion as she stepped forward. "No! Your repentance is not to hide away! You must be by my side and help restore Wano to its former glory! That is how you will atone."
The crew stood silently, witnessing the emotional exchange between grandfather and daughter. Sukiyaki bowed his head in silent acknowledgment of Hiyori's plea. The weight of his past actions seemed to hang between them, but Hiyori's words ignited a spark of determination in the old man's heart.
With their mission in Wano now complete, the Straw Hats began preparing to leave the country. They restocked their supplies, their minds already focused on the next stage of their journey. But before they left, they said their heartfelt goodbyes to Yamato and Hiyori.
Logan, always thinking ahead, decided to offer them a parting gift. "To ensure you both have the power you'll need in the future," he said with a knowing smile, "I've brought you something." He handed them manga.
Yamato and Hiyori looked down at the books in wonder, though they were slightly confused. "Manga?" Yamato asked, tilting her head.
Logan chuckled softly. "It'll make sense in time. Trust me."
With those parting words, the Straw Hats boarded their ship, leaving the shores of Wano behind, but with the promise of new adventures ahead.

Shevute Island
An island located approximately 600 nautical miles away from Wano Country, Shevute was a remote outpost even in the New World. It lay far from the territories of any of the Four Emperors, a rare place of neutrality. Yet, despite its isolation, Shevute thrived, rich in resources and bustling with economic activity, its people enjoying a highly prosperous society.
The Going Merry was currently docked in the port of this vibrant country, its wooden frame reflecting the bright lights of the city.
In the capital, within the grand and luxurious Loftrag Hotel, the Straw Hat Pirates gathered for dinner in an opulent private room, their laughter and chatter filling the space.
"We've come so far, but we still haven't found anything yet," Usopp said, his brow furrowed as he looked down at a hand-drawn map. Confusion filled his voice. "Can this route really lead us to Raftel? Maybe we should focus on finding that last Road Poneglyph."
Logan, seated at the table with the others, leaned back in his chair and spread his hands casually. "I can't guarantee this route will lead us to Raftel 100%, but since we don't know where the last Poneglyph is, we might as well treat this as an adventure."
The map in Usopp's hands was one that Logan had drawn himself. According to the legend of One Piece, the four Road Poneglyphs formed two intersecting routes, and their intersection would reveal the location of Raftel. The Straw Hats had already secured the coordinates of three of the Poneglyphs.
By connecting two of those coordinates, they could create a triangle. Even without the fourth Poneglyph, they could theoretically find Raftel by sailing around this triangle.
After leaving Wano Country, the crew had set off on this new route, following Logan's suggestion. They had sailed about one-tenth of the way toward their goal, but Raftel still felt distant and elusive.
One person, however, was ecstatic.
That person was Luffy.
Always driven by his love for adventure, Luffy's excitement bubbled over. With a massive meat stick in hand, bigger than his own head, he chewed enthusiastically. "Logan's right! Whether this takes us to Raftel or not, it's all part of the adventure!"
"I'm with Luffy on this one. I love a good adventure!" Sanji added, smiling.
Zoro scoffed, a teasing look in his eyes. "Of course you do. You fall for every pretty woman you see on every island, you pervy curly-brow."
Sanji glared at Zoro. "Shut up, moss-head."
"Nah, Logan's decision is spot on," Nami said, chiming in as she moved closer to Logan, showing her support.
"Raftel…" Reiju blinked, her bright eyes filled with wonder. She hadn't expected to have the chance to venture to the final island, a place shrouded in mystery.
Robin, lost in thought, caressed her cheek gently with her fingers. "It's said that when Roger's pirate crew reached Raftel, they discovered the truth behind the Void Century…" Her gaze drifted out the window, her mind wandering to the hidden secrets awaiting them.
Once dinner was finished, Logan stood up. "Alright, everyone. We'll resupply, then set sail once more!"
"Yes!" the crew shouted in unison.
Time passed quickly. A month of sailing had come and gone, and the Going Merry continued its voyage across the vast ocean.
Usopp, peering through the observation tower, scratched his head. "Why does it feel like we're not getting any closer to our destination?"
On deck, Logan sighed, his brow furrowing. "I'm starting to wonder if this theory of mine is wrong. We've followed the coordinates, but nothing... Maybe there's a reason we need all four Road Poneglyphs after all."
Nami came rushing up to them, holding several Log Pose in her hands, her face pale with concern. "All the Log Pose are going haywire!"
The crew gathered around, watching the needles spin wildly as though bewitched. Logan's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Looks like we might be onto something after all. Could we have found Raftel?"
The idea sparked an electric atmosphere among the crew. The allure of Raftel, the legendary final island, gripped them all.
"Look there!!" Usopp shouted from the observation tower, pointing downward.
The crew crowded around the railing, peering over the edge.
"Oh no! It's a whirlpool!!" Nami exclaimed, her voice filled with urgency.
Without hesitation, she reached for her Clow Cards. A floating card appeared in her right hand, while a smaller card formed in her left. With her current powers, she could shrink the Going Merry to a tenth of its size and use the floating card to lift the ship into the air. Alternatively, the ship's Mist-Mist Fruit could make the Going Merry light as mist.
But before she could act, Logan grabbed her hand, stopping her.
"Wait a moment," Logan said calmly, causing Nami's cheeks to flush slightly at his unexpected touch. "Why are you stopping me?" she asked awkwardly, her voice tinged with embarrassment.
Logan's expression was thoughtful. "Don't you think it's strange how this whirlpool appeared so suddenly?"
"It doesn't matter how strange it is, we need to act now!!" Brook shouted, his exaggerated expression filled with worry. As a Devil Fruit user, he feared drowning more than anything. Although he trusted his friends would save him, he'd rather not take the risk.
"We should avoid getting pulled in," Usopp agreed, already preparing his weapon, Tsuriboshi, to help secure the Going Merry.
But Logan shook his head. "No. Let the whirlpool take us in."
"What!?" The crew was taken aback, their eyes widening in shock.
"Remember the first time we met Laboon?" Logan explained. "He opened his mouth and a whirlpool formed from the ocean current. It sucked us in."
"Yeah, but that was nothing compared to this!" Luffy exclaimed, recalling the experience vividly. "This whirlpool is massive—there's no way an island whale could create this!"
Logan nodded. "True. But what if this whirlpool was created by something ten thousand times bigger? Or another Sea King?"
The crew fell silent, considering the possibility. Zoro's eyes brightened. "Wait. Are you saying this might be the entrance to Raftel?"
Nami inhaled sharply. "The size of this whirlpool… if it was caused by a sea creature, it would have to be massive."
"Even larger than Laboon…" Robin murmured, her mind racing as Logan's theory took shape.
Logan's confidence grew as he continued. "Besides, even if I'm wrong, with our strength, we can easily pull the Going Merry out of danger. But if we don't investigate this, we could miss our chance."
Sanji nodded in agreement. "Makes sense to me."
Luffy raised his arms high, his face alight with excitement. "Alright, Going Merry! Head straight for the whirlpool!"
