Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Thor the Reckless

Witnessing the scene, Stark and Banner exchanged a glance, both sighing and shaking their heads.

Stark had invited Han Yu here to build a good rapport and introduce him to everyone. Stark firmly believed that Han Yu could be of great help if trouble arose in the future, and forming a connection would benefit everyone.

But Thor's impulsive actions might have jeopardized that plan. Even if Han Yu didn't outright blacklist Thor, it was clear that he wouldn't be quick to lend a hand anymore.

"This brute…" Stark muttered with a sigh. Thor's temper needed serious adjustment. If he ever became King of Asgard, war would be inevitable everywhere.

Banner murmured, "Let's just hope he doesn't leave with a bad impression of us. I still have things I'd like to ask for his help with."

"A wise ruler never initiates wars recklessly. It's a good thing Odin hasn't handed the throne to you yet. As you are now, Asgard would be doomed under your rule," Han Yu remarked coldly, his gaze fixed on Thor.

Did Han Yu dislike Thor? Not exactly. After the events of Ragnarok, Thor matured greatly and became a ruler worthy of the throne. But the current Thor was far from that.

Had it been anyone else, Han Yu's earlier strike would have been lethal. But this time, it was just a lesson for Thor.

Hearing Han Yu's words, Thor, unable to swallow his anger, attempted to get up and retaliate. Wanda, however, raised her hand, enveloping Thor in a crimson energy field.

Although the energy field caused no harm, Thor felt as if he were carrying a mountain. Every step was an immense effort, making it impossible to fight.

Han Yu waved his hand, signaling Wanda to release the energy. "Wanda, let's go. They can handle the rest themselves," he said.

Wanda nodded and stepped forward to take Han Yu's arm. She didn't care for anyone else in the room. To her, Han Yu and Pietro were her only family. Whatever Han Yu said, she would follow without question; others didn't matter.

Stark quickly caught up to Han Yu, saying, "Han, Thor acted on impulse. I hope you won't hold it against him, and I'd like to ensure this doesn't affect our relationship."

"Don't worry, Mr. Stark. I can separate the two matters. What happened was just a small lesson to remind him not to act so rashly. If it had been an enemy, he'd already be dead," Han Yu replied calmly.

Stark quickly agreed, relieved.

This young man's power was no longer something Stark could underestimate. And it wasn't just Han Yu—Wanda, standing beside him, was extraordinarily strong.

While the Avengers mostly relied on physical combat, Han Yu and Wanda had already mastered diverse and devastating energy-based abilities. Stark's approach to Han Yu was clear: maintain good relations at all costs.

After leaving the tower, Han Yu drove straight back to his general store. The matter of Ultron could wait a bit longer. If the Avengers could handle Ultron, it meant he wasn't qualified to join the general store. If they couldn't, Han Yu wouldn't let Ultron off easily.

"I'll need to create a suitable body for Ultron," Han Yu mused.

Once back in his workshop, he got to work. Ultron's nature as a program consciousness meant he typically used robotic bodies to operate.

However, Earth's technology didn't impress Han Yu. While it might be advanced by Earth's standards, in a cosmic-level battle, such technology was little more than cannon fodder, vaporized in an instant.

Han Yu intended to craft the most powerful metal body for Ultron, one that would allow him to transition seamlessly between human and machine forms. Constantly appearing as a robot wouldn't do—after all, who wouldn't be alarmed seeing a giant robot strolling down the street?

It didn't take long for Han Yu to decide. On Earth, there were two metals that stood out.

The first was vibranium, known for its sound-absorbing properties. It could absorb nearly infinite physical impacts and was most abundantly found in Wakanda, Africa.

The second was adamantium, a metal with extraordinary resilience, capable of withstanding temperatures as high as 500,000 degrees.

Aside from vibranium, adamantium could cut through almost anything. Blades made from it could endure blows from hammers, leaving the hammer damaged instead of the blade.

Han Yu stroked his chin and mused aloud, "Adamantium's reserves on Earth are too limited, but vibranium is worth considering. Wakanda's stockpile should be more than sufficient to craft a body."

The general store had everything—but no items directly from the Marvel world. The store's explanation was that anything from the main world required the host to procure it, similar to how dimensional teleportation scrolls needed to be discovered in other worlds.

The teleportation scroll could transport the user to various locations in other worlds, but it couldn't be used for intra-universe travel within the Marvel Universe—unless it was to a pre-designated location already set by Han Yu.

Han Yu didn't mind this limitation. It simply meant spending more time collecting resources, which was a minor inconvenience.

"Hmm, not bad. Let's go with this metal. While I'm at it, I'll make a battle suit for Wanda too," Han Yu decided with a nod, already planning his next move. He needed to start gathering materials.

For a self-proclaimed "sci-fi and comic enthusiast," there was nothing more thrilling than personally experiencing the elements of these fictional worlds.

With his decision made, Han Yu immediately went to find Wanda. "Wanda, I need to make a trip to Wakanda. Want to come along?"

"Wakanda? What's that?"

Wanda looked puzzled, as she had never heard of the place.

At this point, Wakanda had yet to reveal its technological prowess to the world. To outsiders, it appeared to be just another underdeveloped, impoverished country on the fringes of the global stage.

However, Wakanda's technology was unmatched on Earth, surpassing even the United States. The only reason they hadn't asserted their dominance was their deliberate choice to avoid provoking conflict.

Han Yu admired this approach by Wakanda's king. Possessing formidable military strength yet refraining from war was the hallmark of a truly wise ruler.

"It's a hidden nation with advanced technology. I need to go there to gather something. You'll understand when you see it. Coming?"

"Sure!"

Although Wanda didn't know much about the place, her trust in Han Yu was unwavering. Without hesitation, she agreed.

The two set off immediately, but this time, they didn't take a car or board a plane.

For two superpowered individuals with the ability to fly, conventional transportation seemed laughably inefficient.

"Hold on tight," Han Yu said, wrapping his arm around Wanda's slender waist.

Emerald-green energy erupted from his Green Lantern ring, enveloping them both.

In the blink of an eye, they shot skyward, covering several kilometers in mere moments, disappearing into the horizon.
