Marvel: Beginning with the Collection of Shinra Tensei

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Post-Disaster Reconstruction of Konoha

Han Yu smiled but didn't reply. Instead, he began moving his fingers through the air as if searching for something unseen.

Curious, Tsunade leaned closer to take a look but saw nothing but Han Yu swiping at empty air.

After about half a minute, Han Yu's expression brightened. With a swift motion, he clenched his right hand as a bright silver armguard materialized around his forearm. It resembled some sort of launcher.

Alongside it appeared a small crimson scroll, no larger than the palm of a hand. Han Yu inserted the scroll into the launcher, adjusted it briefly, and then slapped the ground.

In an instant, a thick cloud of white smoke burst forth. When the smoke cleared, a squad of humanoid construction workers appeared. Dressed in ninja attire with black cloth covering their faces, they stood ready for orders on the open ground.

"What... what is this?"

Tsunade's eyes widened in astonishment. The technique seemed like a variation of the Shadow Clone Jutsu, but the way Han Yu activated it was entirely unfamiliar.

"As promised, disaster reconstruction," Han Yu said with a grin. "Your people are injured, and rebuilding Konoha would take years at their pace."

He patted the broad shoulder of one particularly burly construction worker and continued, "These helpers I've provided won't tire, won't get hungry, and don't need rest. They have incredible strength. With their efficiency, the time needed to rebuild Konoha should be significantly reduced."

In addition to the fifty-person construction crew, Han Yu had provided an inexhaustible supply of timber and stone, all to be used for Konoha's reconstruction.

Watching the workers clear rubble with astonishing speed, Tsunade was at a loss for words. Each of them could single-handedly lift objects seven to eight times their own weight—a level of strength far beyond any ordinary person.

The thought of these constructs being used in warfare made Tsunade shudder at the potential devastation they could cause.

Her curiosity about Han Yu only deepened. Not only did he have an impeccable appearance and unmatched strength, but his commanding aura during battle made it clear he was far more than just a pretty face.

"What exactly is that you're using?" Tsunade asked, her eyes fixed on the device on Han Yu's arm.

"Oh, this?" Han Yu gestured to the launcher. "It's a scientific ninja tool. By using a sealed scroll, it allows ninjutsu to be unleashed, even by those without chakra. You can perform A-rank techniques with it."

He shamelessly began pitching the tool to Tsunade. Although this technology would eventually be developed in the Naruto world years later, Han Yu had effectively introduced it earlier, creating a new timeline where scientific ninja tools originated from him.

"Name your price," Tsunade said firmly. "Even if it can't be mass-produced, having a small batch of these could form a formidable unit."

In the ninja world, many struggled with chakra control or spent years mastering ninjutsu. Scientific ninja tools could free them from the grueling process of chakra training.

Such tools would be a game-changer, allowing talented strategists who lacked strong chakra abilities to excel in combat, thereby significantly boosting the nation's power.

Han Yu's mind raced as he calculated the value of the materials he had provided. After about thirty seconds, he confidently stated a figure that made Tsunade's face darken.

"Well, for the reconstruction of Konoha, including one Senzu Bean, one hundred scientific ninja tools, and several hundred pre-engraved and customizable sealed scrolls for ninjutsu... the total comes to—"

He paused for effect, then added, "Rounded down, three billion ryō!"

The ryō was the currency used in the Land of Fire. A typical C-rank ninja mission ranged between ten thousand and fifty thousand ryō, while the most challenging S-rank missions could fetch millions.

Three billion ryō was an astronomical sum, even for a nation.

Tsunade's face flushed with anger at Han Yu's outrageous demand, but she couldn't bring herself to refute him.

As the capital of the Land of Fire, Konoha's destruction left it vulnerable. If the village couldn't recover quickly, it would risk invasion by rival nations, and the losses would far exceed the three billion ryō he was asking for.

"Take your time to think, I'll wait for you."

Han Yu smiled and walked towards the ramen shop. By the time he returned, the ramen he had ordered was just being served. The steaming aroma made his mouth water, and he quickly began eating.

Before he could finish a few bites, Tsunade lifted the shop's curtain and said to Han Yu, "I agree."

"Heh, a wise decision. Alright, everyone, clear a space for the wounded to rest!"

With a snap of his fingers, Han Yu's subordinates sprang into action. Their movements were light and agile, yet their efficiency in clearing the rubble was astonishing.

Some began clearing debris, while others dashed into the surrounding forest to gather wood for building shelters.

"Oh, an excellent choice. Don't worry, the people I've given you won't just restore Konoha to its former glory—they'll push its technology forward by at least a decade. You'll see in time," Han Yu said, glancing back at Tsunade while slurping his ramen. "And as for the effects of my senzu beans, you should know better than anyone. Even Orochimaru couldn't create something like them in this world."

Tsunade nodded, unsurprised that Han Yu knew about Orochimaru. Given his strength, it wasn't shocking at all.

After a brief silence, Tsunade let out a soft sigh, her voice trembling slightly with emotion. "What good is it if I'm the only one left alive? This disaster cost Konoha at least 80% of its people. All those lives... gone."

Out of the corner of his eye, Han Yu noticed tears streaming down Tsunade's cheeks, silently falling onto the table.

Teuchi and his assistant stood behind the counter, grief-stricken as well. Without Han Yu's intervention, they too would have perished under Pain's Shinra Tensei.

"Alright, consider this a welcome gift for a new customer," Han Yu murmured, patting Tsunade on the shoulder before standing up. "This one's on the house."

"What are you going to do?" Tsunade asked, her voice choked with sobs.

Han Yu didn't answer. He stepped outside the ramen shop and spoke softly to himself.

"System, use upgrade points to redeem the time-limited item: [Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique]!"

"Consuming *3 upgrade points, item [Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique] one-time use acquired!"

As the voice echoed, a light-purple scroll materialized in front of Han Yu, floating mid-air. This was the very technique he had previously taken from Pain.

The cost of three upgrade points made Han Yu inhale sharply. "Three points for a one-time use? I can't even imagine how much the full version would cost."

"Let all the villagers of Konoha who died under Shinra Tensei be revived!"

"Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique!"

With a low shout, the scroll in Han Yu's hand exploded into countless glowing fragments that shot into the sky.

Moments later, a colossal figure emerged from the ground—it was the King of Hell from the Naruto world!

Its enormous mouth opened wide, and countless souls began pouring out, descending to the earth and transforming back into living, breathing people. The villagers of Konoha who had perished under Pain's assault... were brought back to life!

Tsunade walked out, her lips trembling as she looked at the familiar faces around her. She could hardly believe it—were they truly revived? Was this not some kind of illusion?

"I... I really don't know how to thank you for this."

Tsunade stood frozen, staring at the miraculous scene before her, momentarily at a loss for words.

"Well, you can pay me. Three hundred billion ryo and those two jutsu of yours. You're not planning to skip out on the bill, are you?"

Han Yu said with a playful smile, his tone light, but his price unwavering.

Looking at Han Yu's smiling face, Tsunade felt a surge of gratitude that words couldn't express. In that moment, she realized that the three hundred billion ryo was worth every coin.

"I'll have the Anbu prepare the funds immediately," Tsunade said resolutely.

Konoha's treasury wasn't located on the surface, so gathering the money didn't take long.

Once the funds were ready, an Anbu member reported to Tsunade. As she turned to Han Yu, she said, "Three hundred billion ryo fills several massive warehouses. How are you planning to transport it—"

"Huh? Where did he go?"

When Tsunade turned back, Han Yu had already vanished. In the spot where he had been sitting, there was only a single card left behind.

Tsunade stepped forward and picked up the card. At the same time, several Anbu members rushed over from a distance, looking flustered.

"Hokage-sama, all the ryo in the warehouses... they've mysteriously disappeared!"

Hearing this, Tsunade was momentarily surprised. However, her gaze returned to the card in her hand, where two lines of text were written:

Yujian General Store Han Yu

In her mind, she suddenly heard Han Yu's light chuckle: "If you ever need anything, just infuse chakra into the card, and you'll arrive at Yujian General Store!"

"That guy... he's quite amusing."

A faint smile appeared on Tsunade's face, her fair complexion glowing with an enchanting charm.

One of the nearby Anbu members was momentarily stunned. He had never seen Tsunade look so beautiful—she was simply breathtaking.

"Once Konoha is rebuilt, I'll visit his general store," Tsunade said with determination.
