Chapter 6: Foundation Agents Appear! New Inventory begins!
HYDRA BASE.
After analyzing the characteristics of SCP 173, Natasha stared at the eerie sculpture intently. She didn't dare to relax at all. As time passed, Natasha became more certain. "Sure enough, this statue won't move if you don't take your eyes off it." Natasha thought inwardly.
She took out her satellite locator, ready to press the distress signal to notify SHIELD. But suddenly, she frowned. She could hear a sound coming from outside the base. it sounded like,…..helicopter propellers.
"Damn! Are the people from HYDRA back? Is this really a trap set by HYDRA?"
Natasha's heart sank. With her current situation, she didn't dare to take her eyes off the sculpture at all. Escape was clearly impossible. "When they come in, maybe I can use them to escape from this sculpture." Natasha thought of how she would react and waited for the moment they arrived.
Suddenly, there was a sound of footsteps approaching. Natasha felt someone appear behind her. "It's now!" She took a deep breath and turned around decisively. But the next moment, she was stunned. What appeared behind her was a group of soldiers who were also armed to the teeth. But they didn't seem to be HYDRA. These people.….all look exactly the same!
It's like they were all carved out of the same mold! "What the hell, Clones? SCP…..What does that mean?" Seeing the logo and the three letters on their uniforms, Natasha was confused for a moment. She thought, "what organization is this? I've never heard of it before."
While this was happening, the people watching the light curtain made posts on the Internet.
"What?! Is this someone from the SCP Foundation? After so long, they finally appeared!"
"God! Why do these people have the same faces? I can't spot any difference! Are these… clones?"
"Oh my god! It's rare to find more than two identical twins, but these are a dozen or so identical people!"
"..."
Stark Tower.
"Oh? Are these the members of the SCP Foundation?" Tony carefully looked at the video on the light curtain. The more he watched, the more shocked he became. These people who look exactly the same don't seem to be using AI face swaps!
"Is this really cloning technology? But thinking about it, compared with this light curtain, cloning technology shouldn't be too difficult for them."
"And, they wouldn't use such technology just for a movie, right?
"Does this foundation really exist?"
Tony thought for a while and decided to just ignore this foundation for now. He has too little information now anyways.
"Pepper, help me make an itinerary, i'm doing a demonstration of the new Jericho missiles with the military in a couple of days."
...
SHIELD Headquarters.
"This.….is this the Foundation?"
When these agents appeared, Nick Fury was shocked.
"They have such advanced technology as cloning?. And these agents, they look highly trained and disciplined."
But then, after thinking for a while, Nick Fury was confused.
"if such an organization exist, how come I've never heard of it?!"
...
On the light curtain, one of the foundation members spoke into his comms.
"Executing the containment plan for SCP 173!"
Natasha looked at these agents blankly. They moved the weird sculpture very skillfully, as if they've done it countless times.
Two agents kept their eyes firmly locked on the sculpture, while the others carefully moved it.
"They.….how do they know the characteristics of this sculpture? Who are they?" Natasha had doubts in her heart.
She saw these people carrying the weird sculpture outside and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Then, she looked at the group of agents again, or more specifically, the person who seems to be the leader. Before she could speak, the agent spoke with a smile and said. "Agent Natasha Romanoff, I am Agent C756 of the SCP Foundation. Good job surviving. I look forward to seeing you again."
Natasha was left speechless and confused.
...
An Apartment in Queens….
[Ding! SCP 173 Sculpture. Containment Successful! ]
[You have gained a spread value of +10 million. ]
Hearing the sound of the system in his head, a smile suddenly appeared on Luther's face.
"Seems like I can gain more spread value from the main characters in the plot compared to ordinary people."
The moment he started the live broadcast, he had already got level one rewards.
A foundation site with 2,000 C-level agents and 3,000 D-level personnel.
The group of agents were dispatched for the containment the moment SCP 173 appeared.
"Then, the next thing to do is.….start a new inventory"
Luther said.
....
SHIELD….
"Shit! Why is there no information about this foundation?" Nick Fury was quite frustrated. When the group of agents who claimed to be the Foundation appeared, He asked SHIELD's intelligence department to search for information about the SCP logo and do a facial recognition scan of one of the agents, since they all look alike, maybe they could find something. But, they still haven't found any information!
Judging by the way this sculpture is numbered, There should at least be a hundred of such weird things! And SHIELD doesn't know anything about it!This kind of thing is unacceptable for an intelligence agency.
"Director..."
An agent pointed at the light curtain and said. "The inventory of the new SCP seems to be updated."
