MARVEL: Exposing The SCP Foundation.

Chapter 7: SCP 096. The Shy Guy! How The Hell Do You Contained This?

"What?! The inventory is been updated?" Nick Fury turned to look at the light curtain and went on alert. Until now, SHIELD hasn't found any information about this so-called SCP foundation. And not long has passed since the previous anomaly inventoried, now there's a new anomaly?

From what he can guess, these anomalies being inventoried by the foundation should all be similar to that sculpture and have weird characteristics. "What kind of anomaly will appear next?!" Nick fury was thinking…..then he ordered, "keep all available field agents on standby. Once the inventory video starts, they'll be dispatched immediately!"

"Also.….try contacting the SCP Foundation if possible!"

...

Outside the HYDRA base.

….

SHIELD's reinforcement team has arrived. "SCP Foundation? Inventory video?" On the helicopter. Looking at the huge light curtain in the sky, Natasha was momentarily stunned. When Agent C756 called her name not long ago, She thought they were a newly formed team from SHIELD sent as backup. Probably the kind only Nick Fury knows about.

But then, those agents told her they have nothing to do with SHIELD, and not even SHIELD knew they existed. The reinforcement agents sent from SHIELD told her everything that happened was broadcast live on the giant light curtain. The whole world saw that sculpture's massacre.

Suddenly, she heard a voice along with subtitles coming from the light curtain.

[Humans have reproduced for 250,000 years, and only the last 4,000 years are meaningful. ]

[So…..what have we been doing for nearly 250,000 years?...]

 …

Afghanistan.

Outside a military base. "Shit, is this thing being updated again?" Even though he didn't fully believe in this foundation, Tony really didn't want to run into an anomaly in the middle of the desert. He was sitting in an armored vehicle headed back to his private jet, looking at a small tablet nervously. And yet, he couldn't hide his curiosity.

In the first inventory video, that weird sculpture really caught his attention. "I wonder what kind of anomaly will appear next?" As Tony was full of anticipation, suddenly... "Boom!"

The armored vehicle in front of them exploded!

"Wha…what's going on?!"

"Stay down!" Tony ducked under the seat while the soldiers got out and started firing. "Wait! Wait! Give me a gun!" Before the soldier could answer, he was shot in the head. Tony was shocked and panicked. He got out of the vehicle and ran to a small rock.

Taking out his satellite phone, he tried sending a distressed signal. Suddenly, a small missile saying stark industries landed beside him. "No no no no!" he got up and tried running, but the missile exploded and sent him flying backwards.

With shrapnels in his chest, Tony soon lost consciousness.

….

Kamar-Taj.

Seeing the inventory video starting to update. The mage apprentices stared at the light curtain in anticipation.

"Ancient one, is there really such a strange thing in this world? Guessing from its number, there is at least a hundred or more of them?" Master Mordo asked.

"Perhaps it is true."

The Ancient One sighed, and said…"This world holds many secrets, and there are still many things we do not understand. Moreover, there are many magical creatures similar, or even more powerful."

Master Mordo nodded and agreed. He has seen many ancient books that record such strange and powerful creatures.

Although this sculpture is extremely weird and dangerous, judging from the inventory video, it doesn't seem too difficult to contain if you know of its properties and are well prepared. Far less threatening than some evil magical creatures!

.....

A voice sounded on the light curtain along with subtitles.

…..

[Inventory of the top ten anomalies in the SCP Foundation! ]

[Ninth Place, SCP 096! The Shy Guy! ]

...

SHIELD….

Nick Fury immediately issued an order. "Once the description is shown, immediately mobilize all available satellites to search for anything similar.!"

In SHIELD, there are no records of the SCP foundation or these anomalies. All they can do now is rely on the information provided on the light curtain.

The screen flickered, and new information appeared on the light curtain.

...

[Item Number: SCP 096]

[Object Class: Euclid]

[Description: SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the subject's body, with an approximate length of 1.5 meters each. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair. ]

[SCP-096's jaw can open to four (4) times the norm of an average human. Other facial features remain similar to an average human, with the exception of the eyes, which are also devoid of pigmentation. It is not yet known whether SCP-096 is blind or not. It shows no signs of any higher brain functions, and is not considered to be sapient.]

After seeing the description of this anomaly, all SHIELD personnel immediately sprang into action. Satellites were mobilized to look for any sign of a similar creature around the world.

"Humanoid?…No intelligence? Perhaps this creature is much easier to deal with!" Nick Fury stared at the light curtain, not wanting to miss any detail.

[SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress.]

[SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately (1) to (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).]

[Documented speeds have varied from thirty-five (35) km/h to [DATA EXPUNGED] km/h, and seems to depend on distance from SCP-096-1. At this point, no known material or method can impede SCP-096's progress. The actual position of SCP-096-1 does not seem to affect SCP-096's response; it seems to have an innate sense of SCP-096-1's location. Note: This reaction does not occur when viewing artistic depictions (see Document 096-1).]

[Upon arriving at SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-096-1. 100% of cases have left no traces of SCP-096-1. SCP-096 will then sit down for several minutes before regaining its composure and becoming docile once again. It will then attempt to make its way back to its natural habitat, [DATA REDACTED]}

[Due to the possibility of a mass chain reaction, including breach of Foundation secrecy and large civilian loss of life, retrieval of subject should be considered Alpha priority.]

Seeing this string of information, Nick Fury's pupils shrank in horror. He couldn't help but curse. "What the fuck!? You can't see its face….or you'll be killed? Then how the hell do you contain this thing?!"

"Wait a minute…." Suddenly, he thought of something. Then….he had a look of horror on his face.
