Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Chapter 2
"Stop moving, damn it!"
Leo grumbled, grabbing his right hand with his left to try and hold the wine bottle steady so he could check if it was empty.
From Tanaka Hideichi's perspective, it looked like Leo was just wobbling around, making it impossible to see the bottle.
"Um… Leo," a soft voice spoke up.
It was a cute girl with curly hair and red eyes, nervously tugging on Leo's sleeve. Her cheeks flushed as she held out a bottle of wine.
"I-I have another bottle here for you," she said shyly.
Leo's blurry eyes lit up when he saw the wine. He immediately took the bottle, grinning.
"Huh? This cute lady, do you want to drink with me?"
Before she could react, Leo pulled her closer, laughing as he put his arm around her.
"Uh… sure, Leo," the girl stammered, her face turning redder. It was Kurenai Yuhi, and she looked both flustered and starstruck. She couldn't help but admire Leo's handsome face, and the faint smell of alcohol on him made her heart race.
"Leo!! It's bad enough that you're drinking in class, but now you're flirting with our classmates too? I won't stand for it!"
A boy's angry voice rang out as he slammed his hands on his desk. It was Sarutobi Asuma, the son of the Third Hokage.
"Huh? Who's this idiot?" Leo said, squinting at Asuma. "Don't bother me while I'm drinking, or I'll chop you."
Asuma's face turned red with rage. He clenched his fists and charged at Leo.
The class erupted in whispers.
"Asuma's gone crazy! He's actually picking a fight with Leo!"
"He's going to get himself killed!"
"What do we do?!"
Everyone knew who Leo was. He was the guy who once injured their former teacher with a single slash. Even Kakashi Hatake, the "genius" of their generation, had been defeated by Leo.
Compared to Leo, Asuma didn't stand a chance.
"Oh no," Tanaka thought, panicking. "If Leo kills Asuma, how will I explain this to the Third Hokage?"
Leo narrowed his eyes and let go of Kurenai. Reaching to his side, he pulled out a long katana.
"Whoosh—"
The sharp sound of the blade being unsheathed silenced the room.
Tanaka froze in place, his heart racing. In an instant, Leo's entire presence changed.
Just moments ago, he was a drunk kid. But now, he felt like a demon—a terrifying spirit who could strike fear into anyone.
Asuma, who had been charging forward, stopped dead in his tracks. His face turned pale as Leo's intense gaze bore into him.
From Asuma's perspective, Leo wasn't human anymore. He looked like a predator, and Asuma felt like helpless prey.
"No! Stop, Leo!" Tanaka shouted desperately.
But Leo ignored him. With a deadly look in his eyes, he swung his katana at Asuma.
"It's over," Asuma thought, frozen in fear.
He closed his eyes, regretting his decision to charge at Leo. He couldn't believe how reckless he had been.
"I'm going to die."
"Slash!"
The sound of the blade echoed through the room.
The class watched in horror as Asuma fell to the ground. Blood splattered everywhere, and everyone screamed.
"Asuma!"
"What just happened?!"
