Chapter 116: Chapter 114: Art Is an Explosion!

Chapter 114: Art Is an Explosion!

The Akatsuki members were growing restless. Their idle chatter and loud complaints filled the cave, with little regard for Obito's position as their leader.

Dealing with a group of rogue ninjas—each with peculiar personalities and no respect for authority—was no small feat. They operated on their own terms, defying norms and discipline.

Obito's frustration was evident as his patience wore thin. The group's unruly behavior tested even his composure, but just as his irritation peaked, Black Zetsu returned.

The room fell silent, all eyes turning to the dark figure.

---

"Have you located the Six-Tails Jinchūriki?" Obito asked sharply.

"Yes," Black Zetsu confirmed. "We've pinpointed his location and can move in immediately.

"However, the Eight-Tails, Nine-Tails, and One-Tail remain heavily guarded, making them difficult to approach."

Obito listened intently before posing another question. "And the other preparations?"

"They'll take more time," Black Zetsu replied cryptically, only Obito understanding the true meaning.

"Then we'll capture the Six-Tails first," Obito decided without hesitation. "Every delay gives the villages more time to prepare, increasing the difficulty of our mission. We must act now."

Obito scanned the room. "Who's coming with me to capture the Six-Tails?"

The Akatsuki members stirred.

"I'll go!" Hidan volunteered enthusiastically, gripping his scythe with anticipation.

"Count me in," Kakuzu added, his voice calm but with a glint of greed in his eyes.

"I'll join too," Deidara said, a manic grin spreading across his face. "It's been too long since I've had a proper stage for my art."

Obito nodded. "The rest of you stay here. Let's move."

With that, Obito activated his Kamui, pulling Hidan, Kakuzu, and Deidara into his dimensional space before transporting them to the Water Country.

---

Under Black Zetsu's guidance, the group quickly located the Six-Tails Jinchūriki, Utakata.

The target was a tall, lean man dressed in light blue robes, carrying a pipe between his fingers. Utakata's eyes narrowed as he sensed their approach, his guard instantly up.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Utakata asked coldly, standing firm despite the hostile intent radiating from the group.

Obito didn't bother with pleasantries. "Take him."

Hidan was the first to rush in, his three-bladed scythe spinning wildly as he charged. "Die for the Jashin-sama!"

Utakata's expression darkened. He brought his pipe to his lips, exhaling a series of glistening bubbles.

"Water Release: Soap Bubble Ninjutsu!"

The bubbles floated toward Hidan, their delicate appearance betraying the danger they posed.

"Ha! You think bubbles can stop me?" Hidan sneered, ignoring the orbs as he lunged forward.

But the moment the bubbles made contact with his body, Utakata snapped his fingers.

"Boom."

A deafening explosion erupted, sending Hidan flying backward and scattering debris everywhere. The ground beneath them was left scorched and smoking.

When the dust cleared, Hidan's limp body lay motionless on the ground.

Kakuzu and Deidara remained unfazed, knowing their reckless teammate would survive.

Deidara's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Interesting… He's turned water into explosive art. I like it."

Utakata glanced at the two remaining attackers warily, his instincts telling him this was far from over.

"Art… versus art!" Deidara declared, pulling out a handful of clay from his pouch. He fed it to the mouths on his palms, which chewed it eagerly. Moments later, he molded the clay into the shape of a centipede.

"C1: Centipede!"

The centipede slithered silently behind Utakata, wrapping around his body in an instant.

"What is this?" Utakata muttered, trying to shake it off.

"An explosive masterpiece!" Deidara yelled. "Katsu!"

The centipede detonated, engulfing Utakata in a fiery explosion.

For a moment, it seemed the battle was over, but a low growl emerged from the smoke.

A massive figure emerged—a slug-like creature with six tails writhing menacingly. Utakata had transformed into the full Six-Tails, Saiken.

---

Saiken unleashed a corrosive mist, its toxic fumes melting everything it touched. Trees, rocks, and even the ground itself dissolved under the assault.

Deidara leapt onto his clay bird, narrowly avoiding the acidic attack. "Fascinating! Let's see how you handle this!"

He hurled a swarm of smaller clay birds toward Saiken, their wings slicing through the air.

Saiken retaliated by releasing a torrent of acid bubbles, popping the clay birds mid-flight and rendering them useless.

Kakuzu joined the fray, unleashing his Earth Grudge Fear technique. Black tendrils shot out from his body, weaving together to form massive appendages.

But Saiken was prepared. It inhaled deeply before exhaling a powerful jet of corrosive liquid, forcing Kakuzu to retreat.

Seeing an opening, Utakata quickly reverted to his human form and created a large bubble around himself. The bubble began to rise, carrying him high into the sky.

Deidara grinned. "Trying to escape? Not on my watch."

He molded another batch of clay, forming a massive bird. "C2: Dragon!"

Mounting the dragon, Deidara soared after Utakata, with Obito and Kakuzu following close behind.

---

High above, the battle continued.

Deidara launched a fleet of clay birds, their detonations lighting up the sky.

Utakata countered with his own bubbles, the explosions from both techniques colliding in mid-air.

"Art is an explosion!" Deidara roared, his excitement growing with every blast.

But as the aerial fight dragged on, Utakata's movements became more sluggish. The combined pressure of his pursuers and his own chakra depletion began to take its toll.

Sensing his fatigue, Obito activated his Kamui. In an instant, he appeared behind Utakata.

"It's over," Obito said, grabbing the Jinchūriki's shoulder.

Before Utakata could react, Obito transported him into the Kamui dimension.

---

Back on the ground, Deidara landed gracefully, clearly disappointed. "Tch. I wanted a bigger finale."

"Stop complaining," Kakuzu muttered. "We got the job done. That's all that matters."

Obito reappeared, confirming the mission's success. "The Six-Tails is secured. Let's move."

The group vanished, leaving behind the wreckage of their battle.

For Utakata, his nightmare was just beginning.
