Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Chapter 69: Chapter 69: The True Princess

After the iceberg blocking their path was obliterated, the ship resumed its journey.

As the vessel glided across the calm sea, the main crew members and Konoha's ninja team gathered in the ship's conference room to discuss the peculiar appearance of the Snow Country ninjas.

"It's my fault," Sandayū confessed, bowing his head deeply.

The director frowned. "We need an explanation. Why are Snow Country ninjas targeting us?"

Taking a deep breath, Sandayū glanced at Yukie, who sat silently in the corner. "It's because of her. Miss Yukie is not just an actress; she is Princess Koyuki Kazahana, the rightful heir to the throne of the Snow Country and daughter of the former daimyo, Kazahana Sosetsu."

Gasps filled the room as everyone turned to Yukie, their disbelief evident.

"Wait... so she's a real princess?!" Lee exclaimed, his eyes sparkling.

Sandayū nodded solemnly. "Years ago, the Snow Country was a peaceful land under Lord Sosetsu's rule. But his younger brother, Kazahana Dotou, staged a coup, assassinated him, and usurped the throne. In the chaos, we managed to smuggle Princess Koyuki out of the palace. Lord Sosetsu entrusted her to Konoha's Kakashi Hatake for protection."

Guy nodded thoughtfully. "I remember hearing about this mission. Kakashi spoke of it once."

Sandayū continued. "For years, I've worked as Yukie's manager, trying to protect her from Dotou's reach. But now he's found us. His men believe Princess Koyuki holds the key to unlocking the Land of Snow's greatest secret—an ancient treasure tied to the hexagonal crystal she wears."

Yukie looked away, her hands clenched tightly. "You're wrong, Sandayū. There's nothing I can do. Dotou is too powerful. The Snow Country is doomed."

Guy stepped forward, his tone resolute. "Running won't solve anything. If we turn back now, Dotou will only send more assassins. The only way to end this is to face him head-on."

Lee, his passion ignited, declared, "A princess needs her knights! I will be your shield, Your Highness!"

Even Tenten, though cautious, agreed. "We've come this far. We can't let her face this alone."

Yukie's expression remained stoic, but her trembling hands betrayed her turmoil.

"Your Highness," Sandayū pleaded, falling to his knees. "The people of the Snow Country need you. We need you."

Seeing the tension rise, Kirito calmly interjected. "There's no need to worry about Dotou's ninjas. They're not as strong as they seem."

Tenten shot him a look. "Not everyone can vaporize an iceberg, Kirito."

Guy placed a hand on Yukie's shoulder. "Your Highness, you don't have to decide now. But think about what your father would want. And know that we'll stand by you, no matter what."

The Director's Perspective

Throughout the meeting, the director had remained uncharacteristically quiet. Now, his eyes gleamed with excitement.

"This is it," he declared, standing abruptly. "A real princess, fighting for her kingdom. This will be the greatest movie of all time!"

His assistant, bewildered, protested. "Director, we're talking about real danger, not a script!"

"That's what makes it perfect! Real stakes, real heroism!"

Tenten sighed. "You're unbelievable. Professional, but unbelievable."

The Plan

Once the meeting ended, Guy outlined their strategy. "We'll let Dotou's men come to us. The crew will continue filming as planned, but stay ready to retreat if things escalate."

As the others dispersed, Tenten approached Kirito. "Those ninjas... they used something like Ice Release. What do you think?"

Kirito shrugged. "It's not true Ice Release. Their armor manipulates chakra to control ice. The principle is simple but limited—it only works in snowy environments."

Tenten twirled a kunai thoughtfully. "Sounds like you've already figured out how to counter it."

"I did. I could replicate it, but it wouldn't be useful for Konoha's shinobi."

"Then let's leave it to them. I'll stick with my weapons." Tenten smiled, spinning her kunai deftly.

The next morning, the ship reached the snowy shores of the Land of Snow.

Guy stood at the bow, gazing at the icy landscape. "This is it. Let's show them the power of Konoha's youth!"

The crew disembarked, their breath visible in the frigid air. The stark white terrain stretched endlessly before them, broken only by jagged cliffs and distant mountains.

As they prepared to march toward the filming location, Kirito adjusted his gloves and looked toward the horizon.

"Dotou won't wait long. Let's be ready."
