Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Leaving the Village
"What? Tobirama Senju has been resurrected? And he's reclaimed the title of Hokage!?"
In Kumogakure, the Fourth Raikage, Ay, stared incredulously at the information relayed by their spies in Konoha.
"Damn it! That blasted Konoha—what kind of jutsu haven't they invented by now? Why not bring back Hashirama while they're at it?"
...
"Tobirama Senju? That old fox is back? He's nothing like the soft-hearted Hiruzen."
In Iwagakure, Ōnoki mulled over the shocking news.
The resurrection of Tobirama had shaken all four great nations to their core.
In a concealed cave, a tense conversation unfolded.
"Obito, Tobirama Senju has returned. We need to accelerate our plans."
Black Zetsu, always vigilant through the extensive network of White Zetsu spies across the shinobi world, rushed to deliver the news to Obito.
"Tobirama Senju? He's just a corpse. Once we collect all the tailed beasts and revive the Ten-Tails, what can he—or even a resurrected Hashirama Senju—do to stop me? No one can halt the Moon's Eye Plan," Obito declared fearlessly.
"Still, the timeline should be advanced. I'll need to meet with Nagato."
With that, Obito donned his spiral mask, adopting his playful Tobi persona once more, and vanished into a swirling vortex.
"Humph. When Mother is revived, the entire shinobi world will tremble," Black Zetsu muttered to himself before vanishing underground.
...
Konoha
After settling the village's various affairs, Tobirama delegated duties to Shikaku and prepared to head to the capital of the Land of Fire to meet the Daimyō. It was a formality every Hokage had to undertake after taking office, a gesture to maintain cordial relations despite the Daimyō's limited authority over Konoha.
For Tobirama, who had just been reincarnated, this was a new experience. Though he scoffed internally at the one-nation-one-village system, which he deemed inefficient, he understood the necessity of maintaining appearances. For now. Once he unified the shinobi world, reforms would follow.
Joining him on this journey was his personal guard. In his prime, his guard consisted of six loyal disciples, but most were either deceased or now esteemed elders of Konoha. Thus, Tobirama selected three of the Fourth Hokage's former guards instead: Genma Shiranui, Raido Namiashi, and Iwashi Tatami—affectionately known as Konoha's Gatekeeping Trio. Together, they could execute the Flying Thunder Formation.
"Hokage-sama, isn't it too risky to travel with just the three of them? I'm concerned that someone might take advantage of this opportunity to harm you," Shikaku advised, worry evident in his tone.
Tobirama chuckled softly. "Shikaku, if we encounter a threat I can't handle, no amount of guards will make a difference. Even then, I have the Flying Thunder God Technique to escape if necessary."
He had even considered traveling alone but relented under the village's strong insistence.
"Well, Hokage-sama, your abilities are indeed formidable. It seems I've been overthinking," Shikaku admitted, recalling Tobirama's overwhelming presence during his confrontation with Orochimaru.
For Tobirama, this trip wasn't just about meeting the Daimyō—it was an opportunity. He intended to draw out any hidden rats within Konoha or outsiders coveting his position. Let them try. He would show the world that as long as Tobirama Senju stood, the title of Hokage was his alone.

Konoha's Gate
Draped in the Hokage's ceremonial robes and wearing the Hokage's hat, Tobirama bid farewell to the gathered villagers.
"Shikaku, the village will rely on you during my absence. If you encounter any difficulties, consult Sarutobi. Should anything major arise, channel chakra into the kunai I left for you, and I will return immediately."
"Understood. Please rest assured, Hokage-sama," Shikaku replied solemnly. He understood the trust Tobirama placed in him, and the implications for the Nara, Akimichi, and Yamanaka clans' future.
Tobirama nodded in approval.
"All right, everyone, return to your posts."
With that, he departed amidst the cheers of the villagers, accompanied by his three-man guard.
In the shadows, an unseen figure whispered, "Tobirama Senju has left the village. Spread the word."
