Chapter 190: Susano'o-Armored Wood Golem - Beating Down the Nine-Tails!

A swirling vortex appeared in the delivery room as Obito, wearing his tiger-striped mask, appeared.

Sensing the spatial disturbance, Minato's eyes turned serious. As a user of the Flying Thunder God technique, he understood the power of space-time ninjutsu all too well.

Obito took one look at Minato, then stared intently at the shadowy figure of Black Zetsu attached to Kushina.

"Hand over the child," Obito said coldly, devoid of emotion.

Black Zetsu let out a sinister chuckle and passed the baby to Obito. Minato seemed to realize what the masked man intended to do and threw a kunai. However, Obito placed an explosive tag on Naruto, disappearing in a vortex along with Kushina.

Minato quickly abandoned his attempt to stop Obito and, with the speed of the Flying Thunder God, removed the explosive tag and returned home with Naruto in his arms.

Sensing the presence of the Nine-Tails near the village center, Minato donned his Hokage robe and used the Flying Thunder God mark on Kushina to teleport back to her side, meeting up with Haneda.

The two exchanged a glance. Minato held Kushina and looked towards the Nine-Tails, which was charging wildly out of the village.

"Please stop the Nine-Tails," he asked Haneda.

"And the masked man?" Haneda replied.

"Leave him to me," Minato said, turning his back. The words "Fourth Hokage" in red flapped on his cloak. "As Hokage, I won't lose."

Obito stood atop the Hokage Monument, watching the Nine-Tails running out of the village, seemingly ignoring the Leaf shinobi. Obito frowned in confusion; according to his plan, the Nine-Tails should have wanted to destroy Konoha, not escape.

But his plans had been accomplished, regardless. He watched as Minato appeared alone before him and smirked.

"All your people are busy fighting, and the Nine-Tails only cares about escaping. I'll keep you here," Minato declared, serious.

Obito lowered his hood, allowing his Sharingan to focus fully on Minato. "You're all without hope."

Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently. Both Minato and Obito sensed an immense chakra—one as powerful as a Tailed Beast—appearing in the direction of the Nine-Tails.

There, a giant wooden figure in golden armor blocked the Nine-Tails' path. It was the Wood Dragon technique of the legendary Hashirama Senju, coupled with the Uchiha clan's ultimate power: Susano'o!

"Is that… Wood Release?!" Both Minato and Obito looked on in shock at Haneda, standing atop the wooden golem. With the support of both Wood Release and Susano'o, this giant figure was as tall as the Nine-Tails itself, and its overwhelming aura completely suppressed the fox's violent chakra.

Back in Konoha, everyone, from the Third Hokage to Tsunade and Jiraiya, as well as Sasori and Kakuzu, turned their attention to the massive golden figure restraining the Nine-Tails.

Tsunade, recognizing the Wood Release and Wood Dragon, understood why Haneda had her grandfather's aura. She smiled and said, "Jiraiya, looks like I win our bet!"

Jiraiya, speechless, could only watch Haneda in awe. Not even Minato or Nagato could rival the combined power of the God of Shinobi and the Uchiha Avenger embodied in Uchiha Haneda.

Sasori glanced from Haneda to his puppet of the Third Kazekage, muttering, "Art... No, I'll prove that true eternal art is real art!" Determined, Sasori made a mental vow to avoid Haneda, intending to someday prove his artistry by standing before Haneda's grave.

Meanwhile, Haneda, standing high above on the wooden golem, crossed his arms, his black hair blowing in the wind as he looked down at the Nine-Tails.

"You broke our promise, Nine-Tails."

"What promise? You humans never keep your word! Why shouldn't I break mine?" the Nine-Tails roared in anger. "You humans imprisoned me for decades! I haven't even taken my revenge on you yet!"

Haneda understood the Nine-Tails' frustration, but he had to keep it contained within Konoha. The Nine-Tails' freedom risked disrupting plans involving Kaguya's resurrection.

Haneda responded coldly, "Then prepare to face the terror of being overpowered by Uchiha Haneda."

The wooden golem grabbed the Nine-Tails' tail and threw it forcefully outside the village. The Nine-Tails, hoping to escape, tried to run. Having been subdued by Hashirama and Madara before, it knew the overwhelming strength of Wood Release and Susano'o and did not stand a chance against Haneda.

But the fox's hopes were short-lived. It found itself in the Forest of Death, surrounded by trees—an ideal place for Haneda to use Wood Release. Haneda clapped his hands and performed another jutsu:

The trees around the Nine-Tails rapidly grew, reaching hundreds of meters tall and wrapping around the beast like vines. Struggling to break free, the Nine-Tails charged up a Tailed Beast Bomb, but Haneda leaped forward, pressing his palm against its mouth and forcing the Bomb back down.

The massive explosion echoed throughout Konoha, but Haneda, protected within his Susano'o, was unscathed. Calmly, he watched the Nine-Tails, now entirely restrained by the Flower Tree World, as it lay helplessly on the ground.

"Why did you want to escape?" Haneda asked with arms crossed, exuding confidence. "Out there, other ninja villages and strong shinobi won't be as accommodating as I am."

The Nine-Tails, still struggling, replied, "For freedom!! I would rather die than live in peace with humans! I'll never trust any word, phrase, or promise from a human!"

Haneda looked down at the Nine-Tails and quietly asked, "How can a beast like you ever change?"

At that moment, Minato appeared with Naruto using the Flying Thunder God technique, joined by Kushina, who had been brought over by the Third Hokage. Minato set Naruto beside Kushina and looked at Haneda, saying, "Thank you."

Then he began making hand seals. Snake, Boar, Ram, Rabbit… Finally, he placed his hands together.

Kushina and the Third Hokage gasped, realizing what Minato was doing.

"The Reaper Death Seal?!"

Minato looked lovingly at Kushina, smiling. "With this seal, I'll place your chakra within Naruto to help him control the Nine-Tails."

"But…he's our son," Kushina said in protest.

"That's why I don't want him to bear such a heavy burden alone. Besides… why use the Reaper Death Seal when you—?"

"Because I don't want to lose you."

"Our chakra will stay with him, watching him grow," Minato replied with a gentle smile.
