Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

After the boy left, Reiki walked straight to a small courtyard.

"Brother Nawaki."

Pushing open the courtyard door, Reiki saw Nawaki sitting in a daze in the yard. However, there was a slight ripple on his face.

This guy is really... caught between happiness and longing for Nozuki!

"Reiki!?"

Nawaki, who had been daydreaming about the beautiful queen, was brought back to reality by Reiki's voice. He stood up quickly, looking a bit embarrassed.

The reason he had come here was to help with the construction of the village. But now, he was...

"How's your relationship with Queen Sara going?" Reiki asked teasingly.

Nawaki, already flustered, turned even redder. "Reiki, don't talk nonsense! Queen Sara and I are just friends. I—"

Before he could finish, Sara's voice interrupted. "Reiki, you're here too?"

Hearing the commotion in the yard, Sara stepped out. She had heard Reiki's voice and had gone to prepare some documents.

After all, this village technically belonged to Reiki. Even though he had gifted it to her, there were still formalities to handle.

"Queen Sara!" Reiki greeted with a smile. "I came to see if there's anything else that needs my help here. If you need anything, just let me know."

It wasn't just about lending a hand. Seeing the reactions of the villagers and their happiness when Reiki arrived in Yucun was enough to make him trust Sara. A queen so beloved by her people could definitely manage the village well. He wasn't here to micromanage but to assist.

After all, the ninja world was on the brink of great change, and Reiki's time would soon become more limited.

"Help?" Sara tilted her head slightly. "Actually, Reiki, I don't think you can help with what I need. I've already spoken to Nawaki about it."

Sara glanced at Nawaki with a look of trust. Nawaki, caught off guard, panicked. "Hahaha... yes, Sara has asked me to... I..."

He stammered, clearly uneasy. Whatever Sara had requested was the reason for his earlier daze.

Reiki noticed but didn't press further. "Alright, since you've already got a plan, I won't interfere. But if you need anything, just let me know. Queen Sara, I'll borrow Nawaki for a while. Let him show me around the village."

"This... Reiki, you—" Nawaki began, but Sara interrupted, "Lord Nawaki, do you have time?"

"Yes! I'll take Reiki for a walk. I'll leave the rest to you," Nawaki replied hastily and pulled Reiki out of the yard before Sara could hand over the documents.

"Lord Nawaki is acting strange," Sara muttered, frowning. But she didn't overthink it. She had plenty of tasks to tackle and quickly returned to her work.

Outside Yucun, Nawaki finally stopped pulling Reiki. "Brother Nawaki," Reiki teased, "Queen Sara asked you to show me the village. Why did you bring me out here?"

Reiki chuckled. Nawaki's flustered demeanor was amusing.

"Reiki, what are you trying to do?" Nawaki grumbled.

"Me? Nothing at all," Reiki replied innocently, making Nawaki more annoyed. Still, he had no grounds for his frustration. Reiki hadn't done anything.

"Alright, Brother Nawaki, tell me what Queen Sara asked you to do. Maybe I can help."

Nawaki sighed and explained, "While Yucun isn't affected by the surrounding sandstorms, the land is barren. Even with the Sanada Chamber of Commerce's support, our strength is still too weak. Sara wants me to figure out a way to give the Kingdom of Rouran new power."

Hearing this, Reiki almost burst out laughing. Nawaki was already speaking as if Rouran was their kingdom! It seemed Nawaki had fully embraced the idea of becoming part of Sara's world.

But that wasn't a bad thing. Reiki had been the one to push Nawaki in this direction in the first place.

"So, the issue is a lack of combat power, and you're worried about something going wrong during construction?" Reiki summarized. "That's easy to solve. Just hire ninjas!"

"Hire ninjas?!" Nawaki exclaimed. "Reiki, are you serious? Do you know how expensive it is to hire a force capable of protecting an entire country? Besides, there's no guarantee—"

"Don't worry about money. I have enough and know a trustworthy team. How about it? Need my help?" Reiki asked with a sly smile.

"You... what's the catch?" Nawaki asked cautiously. He knew Reiki wouldn't help without some kind of condition.

"Catch?" Reiki grinned. "Brother Nawaki, you know how poor you are, right? No catch. But I do have a wish: I hope the Senju Clan can thrive here under your leadership. At least give Tsunade ten nephews and ten nieces!"

"What?!" Nawaki's face turned crimson. Things between him and Sara weren't even official yet, and Reiki was already talking about kids!

"Alright, I'm kidding," Reiki said, laughing. "But seriously, Tsunade approves of Queen Sara. So, go for it, Brother Nawaki. Leave the rest to me."

With that, Reiki headed back toward the village. Before he had the chance to explore his own territory, Nawaki had dragged him out. Now, it was time for Reiki to take a proper look. After all, he had invested in this place and wanted to see how it was shaping up.
