One Piece: I'm Invincible

Chapter 30: Hodgepodge

After some banter, they quickly went to the money exchange. Under Nami's skillful negotiation, five diamonds were successfully exchanged for eight million Beli.

Following that, I accompanied Nami as she shopped for clothes. Nami visited nearly every clothing store in Loguetown, which gave Clover a chance to witness her incredible bargaining ability. She was truly extraordinary, leaving every store with bags, both large and small.

Nami was also thoughtful enough to buy many clothes for Clover, considering he was still wearing the ragged, blood-stained suit he had stolen earlier.

By the time Clover and Nami left the clothing store, Clover was dressed in a new set of casual clothes: loose black trousers, a black short-sleeve shirt, and a mid-length black coat.

"So, you really like black, don't you?" Nami remarked, eyeing Clover in his new outfit.

She had always thought Clover was handsome, but after putting on clothes that fit him properly, he looked even more dashing—captivating enough to catch the eyes of many girls passing by.

How could this person be the fearsome pirate with a bounty of 28 million Beli?

Meanwhile, on the other side of Loguetown, a small boat slowly docked, and three cloaked figures disembarked. One of them was tall and slender, while the other two were stockier.

"Nee-sama, do we really have to wait for him here?" one of the larger figures asked.

"Yes. This place is full of people, and his wanted poster is vague, so it might be hard to find him."

"No," the tall figure replied, "I have a strong feeling he's here. Plus, pirates from the East Blue always stop at Loguetown before heading to the Grand Line. We'll find him."

These three were the Hancock sisters, who had traveled all the way from the New World to the East Blue. To avoid causing a commotion, they had docked the Kuja Pirates' ship far away and come ashore in a small boat, hidden under cloaks.

Soon after, another pair of cloaked figures stepped onto the shore.

"I really want to meet my son," one of them said.

"If you get a chance, you can see him from afar. But remember, the reason we're here isn't to see your son," the other person replied.

"I understand," the first man nodded.

"Let's split up and look for him. We'll meet back here in two hours whether we find him or not."

"Got it."

These two were Red-Haired Shanks and Usopp's father, Yasopp, who had come from a distant sea.

"Report! Port surveillance has confirmed the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates on the island!" A Marine ran through Loguetown's streets, finally entering a room filled with thick smoke. The smoke stung his eyes, making it hard to see.

"Thirty million and twenty-eight million," a tall figure said, standing up in the smoke with two cigars in his mouth. It was Smoker. "Let's go check it out."

"That guy Clover Benson must be in Loguetown. We'll find him after dinner."

"Do we really want to take revenge on him? He's way out of our league."

"Yeah, and now he's got a bounty of 28 million!"

In a nearby restaurant, four cloaked figures sat together, discussing while eating.

"I was just careless last time! I'm the great Buggy the Clown!!" Buggy shouted, but was quickly silenced by his companions.

"Shh! Don't draw attention! I've heard there's a strong Marine in this town, so don't reveal your identity!" Kabaji whispered urgently as he covered Buggy's mouth.

"Cough cough... Don't worry. I, the great Buggy, will avenge my humiliation this time!" Buggy muttered in a low voice.

"I don't care about your scars. Just remember, help me find Luffy," another voice said. It was a woman's voice, belonging to someone who had been quiet until now.

The woman was none other than Alvida, the now-beautiful pirate who had eaten the Sube Sube no Mi, transforming her appearance. Her targets were Clover, who was currently with Nami, and Luffy, who was wandering alone on the other side of town.

With Boa Hancock, Red-Haired Shanks, Yasopp, Smoker, Buggy, Alvida... a chaotic situation was brewing on this seemingly peaceful island, ready to explode at any moment.

Originally, Buggy's vendetta was with Luffy, but when Clover had beaten up the Buggy Pirates in Luffy's absence, Buggy's anger shifted to Clover.

"We're hungry. Let's go grab something to eat," Clover said, carrying Nami's shopping bags and pointing to a nearby restaurant.

"Sure," Nami nodded, and they entered the restaurant together. As they sat in a corner, they noticed four cloaked figures leaving. Clover glanced at them but paid them no mind.

Buggy and his crew had just walked past Clover.

Meanwhile, Luffy and Zoro, having reunited by chance, headed to the execution platform, where Smoker had been waiting. As Buggy and his group exited the restaurant, they immediately spotted Luffy on the platform.

"There he is," Alvida said, walking straight toward Luffy.

"That kid must be the captain, right? That straw hat... it looks so familiar," Buggy muttered as he followed Alvida. "If we can't find him, let's take out his captain first! Let's go, boys!"

At Buggy's signal, more cloaked figures stepped out of the crowd, neatly falling in behind him. These were all members of the Buggy Pirates.

"I've been looking for you, Luffy. Long time no see," Alvida said as she approached the platform, resting her mace on her shoulder.

"Huh?" Luffy stared at her, confused.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten my face?" Alvida said, looking at Luffy's puzzled expression. "You were the first man to ever strike me, and I'll never forget it."

Luffy still looked confused. "Did I hit you?"

Onlookers began whispering at the sight of such a beautiful woman speaking to Luffy this way, disdainfully watching the pirate on the execution platform.

"Your punch felt so good..." Alvida mused, stroking her now-smooth belly.

"Let me ask you—what's the most beautiful thing in the world?" Alvida asked the crowd as she touched her face.

"That's you!" the men in the crowd shouted, kneeling before her.

Suddenly, a man in a cloak jumped out of the crowd, kicking Alvida away. She was sent flying, turning to stone and shattering upon hitting the ground.

"I'll ask you again: what is the most beautiful thing in the world?" Boa Hancock asked, throwing off her cloak and shouting.
