One Piece: I'm Mihawk's Son

I had always wanted to meet Monkey D. Dragon. Far beyond my interest as a fan of One Piece; after living here for so long and being involved with Geopolitics, I had my reasons... many reasons. To give him a good slap among many, but ultimately to talk to him about the current state of the world, what he thought about it, what his plans were... I'm aware of his movements through Stussy, It is not like he does nothing. It is just, he could do more.

"Let me ask you first, Dragon. Do you come for a fight?"

"If I had come for a fight, you would know... we came here today to talk".

I needed to know, our objectives aren't different, but we're not exactly allies. If anything, he's clearly against our methods of doing things and I'm against his. My actions created waves that affected the revolutionary army. Let alone I'm not the only factor here. Hancock and Robin have surely created waves themselves. 

For the whole time, I saw Dragon looking oddly at Robin who merely answered his gaze with a clueless one of her own. I imagine his interest in her is related to her being able to read poneglyphs and hailing from Ohara, in the manga, that's the reason she was taken in the revolutionary army in the first place. 

"If that's the case then follow me. A civil war has just ended here and this is not the best place to exchange pleasantries".

"What a polite young man~ My name is Ivankov, could I get your den den mushi address, sweetheart?~"

"I'd rather die".

I mean for real, I don't hate his character, in fact... I love his character. But it is completely different to see him on a screen than to be in front of him.

"Mou, so mean!~ Let me see-"

Ivankov then pierced her own skin with those nails of hers and I saw how he or she or whatever he is, transformed into a woman with a questionable expression but still a bombshell of a body. 

"Can I get your den den mushi address now, sweetie?~"

"I mean... what are you going to use it for?"

"Veyron!"

"Perverted bastard, control yourself!".

Robin and Ali howled at me... 'she's a queen and a good contact to have you know?!'

"I'm just asking..." I pouted and continued to fly us towards Alubarna; I'm not even glancing at those massive boobs, why are they complaining?

"As expected of a young virile man, they can't see boobs because they get crazy, even the infamous lightning god is no exception~ you see Kuma, you're the only true saint".

"..." The massive bear said no word, his gaze looked like somebody owed him money. It as very different to the person I have read in the manga. This one looked a lot more... hostile. 

"When did you meet Kuma, Robin?" I asked her on our way to the city while Robin carried both Kuma and Ivankov.

"A year ago, Kingdom of Malades to the north of Jaya. We fought... that's the place we recruited Gem into Baroque Works, right, Ali?".

"That's right, we were doing your dirty work getting rid of some corrupt crook, I didn't want to but this woman pulled me into that".

"You have peculiar ways of freeing a kingdom" Dragon added offhandedly and it quickly started an argument between him and Robin, one he didn't seem like he wanted to fight.

"It is better to go for the head of state instead of its minions".

"You created a power vacuum that ultimately led to the succession of another tyrant".

"And we killed him too before putting his head on a stick".

"…" Veyron shivered and looked at Robin who seemed like she said that with pride, 'Nobody told me that though!?'

"I-It was her idea".

"But you didn't stop me!"

"Because it was efficient. In the end someone respectful did take the reins of the kingdom thanks to the fear they had on us. I didn't support your methods, but no doubt they're efficient".

Crocodile harrumphed haughtily like he just did the most clever thing.

"We first heard of the liberators through Boa Hancock. You are not a group that exists in paper, but instead a cohesion of individuals who act independently" Dragon continued to reveal a bit more information as if to flaunt his intelligence network.

"…"

"Stussy, Boa Hancock, Shironeko Gion, Nico Robin… those are the agents we know. Of course there is you too, Veyron".

'So they don't know about Mom. But they do know about Gion and Stussy, that's some good intel'.

"You shouldn't underestimate us. We also know who the agents of the revolutionary army are. Tell them Crocodile".

I looked at Ali whose gaze switched to me with a deadpan.

"How am I supposed to know?"

"Robin?"

"… sweetheart, I have no idea… I only know Kuma and Ivanvok".

'Where is the Liberators budget in intelligence!?'

It was then that I recalled that we don't have such a thing as 'intelligence' All I know I know because of Stussy, 'This may actually be a flaw'.

"Anyway… Stussy knows. So what do you come here for today, Dragon? To try and stop me?"

"We dealt with some matters in Paradise and thought it was a good idea to pay a visit to the country being assailed by a warlord… and then I thought you'd be here".

"How did you know…" I frowned, who could possibly backstab me like that?

"Our secret agents in Rusukaina told us your flight direction. All I had to do was deduce you'd be either here or in Jaya".

Robin and I looked at each other spookily.

As I thought, there are spies in Rusukaina, likely from every party. But I can work with that. The question is, how? Everyone who lands in Rusukaina is checked thoroughly.
