One Piece: Reincarnated as Buggy the Clown

This time, Buggy and Lafitte worked together. Upon arriving on the island, they split up to gather information about Weevil.

Instead of seeking out information brokers, they decided to ask the local residents directly. These two were quite distinctive, and anyone who had seen them would remember them. It wouldn't be long before they got what they were looking for.

From the locals, they learned that three days ago, a particularly short woman accompanied by a silly-looking young man had arrived on the island. They had gotten into a conflict with the local mafia, the Black Hand, and had even taken over their base.

After rejoining, they headed towards the Black Hand's base as described by the residents. As they approached, they could hear the sounds of intense fighting. There were clashes of weapons and gunshots, along with shouts and curses.

Hearing this commotion, they didn't rush into action. Buggy, with Lafitte, used Soru (moonwalk) to fly onto the roof of a nearby tall building.

Looking down, they saw two groups facing each other. One group consisted of two people, a man and a woman. The woman was particularly short, and the man looked very young but was very muscular. He held a cleaver in his hand, but he gave off a silly air.

The other group was made up of many burly men in black suits. They looked very fierce and each held a knife or gun.

Buggy confirmed that these two groups were Miss Bakkin and her son, Weevil, and the West Blue mafia.

Several Black Hand members in black clothes lay on the ground.

"You two, you dare provoke us, the Black Hand, in the West Blue! You must be looking to die!"

"Mom, let me take care of them."

"No, my dear son. They haven't given us the money they owe us yet."

Miss Bakkin looked at the Black Hand and said, "I helped you get rid of your opponents, and you refuse to pay? What kind of logic is that? Give me the money, and I'll leave immediately. Otherwise, I'll stay here."

Hearing Miss Bakkin's words, the leader of the Black Hand stepped forward and said, "We've already given you what we owe. The amount you're asking for isn't within our agreement. Don't think we're easy to bully. We have the backing of the Capone Family, one of the biggest mafia groups in the West Blue. You can't act so recklessly here."

"I don't care who's behind you. Since I helped you solve the problem, you have to pay me what I deserve. Your measly money isn't enough for the help I provided."

The two sides argued endlessly. They both had their own concerns, and neither of them made another move.

Looking at this scene, Buggy had an idea.

Buggy shared his thoughts with Lafitte. Lafitte understood Buggy's plan and knew what to do. He jumped off the building and ran towards the Glory.

A while later, he arrived with Daddy Masterson.

Daddy Masterson was a key part of the plan. Buggy planned to have Daddy Masterson snipe Miss Bakkin and blame her death on the mafia. After she died, Buggy would appear as Weevil's distant cousin and recruit him.

Buggy thought this plan was very feasible. After Miss Bakkin's death, with Weevil's limited intelligence, he wouldn't be able to tell Buggy's words apart. There was a good chance of success.

Daddy Masterson put on a suit that Lafitte had bought on the way. After disguising himself, he snuck behind the mafia.

The two sides were still arguing. Daddy Masterson didn't wait. He went to the back, pulled out two pistols, aimed them at Weevil and Miss Bakkin, and pulled the trigger. He fired several shots in a row, then left without looking at the results and returned to the Glory.

After the shots rang out, both sides were momentarily stunned. The mafia didn't understand where the gunshots came from. Miss Bakkin didn't understand why the other party had suddenly turned on them.

When the bullets flew towards them, Weevil reacted quickly. As the bullets approached, he used his cleaver to block all the bullets aimed at him.

Miss Bakkin, however, didn't have that kind of strength. Several bullets flew towards her. She didn't even dodge. They all hit her.

Miss Bakkin fell to the ground and died, witnessed by all the mafia members.

After blocking all the bullets, Weevil saw what had happened to Miss Bakkin.

"No, Mom! You can't die!"

Weevil immediately picked up Miss Bakkin's body, shed tears, and cried out loud.

"Captain, we should go down."

Lafitte felt that the time was right.

"Wait a bit. I think Weevil might go crazy. Let him deal with the mafia first, and then we'll appear. That way, we'll have dealt with the aftermath, and no one will cause trouble when we show up."

Lafitte thought it made sense. Now was not the best time to appear.

As expected, after a fit of crying, Weevil turned his gaze to the mafia members who were standing there, helpless.

His eyes instantly turned red. With his limited intelligence, he thought the mafia was the culprit. To avenge his mother, he picked up his cleaver, turned around, and charged towards the mafia.

How could the mafia possibly withstand a furious Weevil? He practically killed them one by one. Soon, all the mafia members were lying dead at Weevil's feet.

Seeing all the mafia members fall, Weevil, having lost his target, returned to normal and returned to Miss Bakkin's body, crying loudly again.

Buggy didn't rush out to reveal himself to Weevil. If he went out now, he might provoke his hostility. He might think that they were part of the mafia. With his limited intelligence, he might even go after them relentlessly.

Buggy and Lafitte stayed on the roof, watching Weevil. Weevil was truly sad. He cried there, from night to day. The next morning, perhaps because of hunger, he carried the body and headed towards a restaurant.

Buggy realized that the time was right. The two of them left the roof where they had been staying and headed towards the restaurant.

As they entered the restaurant, they saw Weevil cleave a waiter in two with his cleaver and then head straight for a seat.

The diners and the owner, seeing this scene, scattered like birds.

Buggy guessed the reason. Perhaps Weevil had entered with Bakkin's body, attracting the waiter's attention, leading to a conflict and this incident.

Buggy didn't bother with anything else. He went straight towards Weevil.
