Chapter 175: Please die
-----
"Speak now!!"
Sengoku roared, barely restraining the urge to smash the smiling brat in front of him with a single punch.
He felt that Uchiha Kitaro and Uchiha Akira—both brothers were nothing short of the most infuriating troublemakers he had ever encountered.
"That technique is called the Flying Thunder God Jutsu," Kitaro explained nonchalantly, "It was created by the Second Hokage of Konoha Village, Senju Tobirama. Konoha Village is the place we came from earlier. It's now led by the Third Hokage, an old schemer with a penchant for manipulation."
"I'm not interested in that, Akira" Sengoku interjected coldly.
"Alright," Kitaro continued, shrugging. "My dear brother, Kitaro learned the Flying Thunder God Jutsu from the Fourth Hokage. The jutsu's key feature is its reliance on a coordinate system. It uses a unique energy from our world to leave markers at specific locations."
"By activating the jutsu, he can instantly teleport to any place where he's left a marker," he added, smiling slyly. "Since my brother managed to infiltrate the sixth level of Impel Down, it means he left one of those markers there."
Sengoku's eyes lit up. Finally, he understood the secret behind Uchiha Kitaro's seemingly limitless mobility. It wasn't true freedom of movement—he had simply left markers at specific locations beforehand.
But even so, the ability of this so-called Flying Thunder God Jutsu was absurdly overpowered.
"So, are you saying that if Uchiha Kitaro leaves markers all over the world, he could essentially appear anywhere at any time?" Sengoku pressed.
"It's not that simple," Kitaro replied, waving a hand dismissively. "Using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu consumes a massive amount of chakra, especially if the target being moved is large or the distance is far."
"The range for sensing markers is also limited, which directly affects how far he can teleport. I don't know my brother's exact range, but I'd say spanning half of the New World seems feasible."
"..."
The hope that had momentarily flared in Sengoku's heart was extinguished like a bucket of ice water.
"Half of the New World" wasn't much different from "the whole world." If Kitaro could simply teleport multiple times, he'd effectively have the entire world within his grasp.
"Do you know where he's left markers?" Sengoku asked, his voice low and strained.
Kitaro spread his hands helplessly. "I wouldn't know that. Here's the thing—anywhere my brother walks, he can leave a marker if he wants to."
Sengoku's face turned ashen. Uchiha Kitaro had even visited the World Government Headquarters. Could it be...? No, it was almost certain. With his personality, he would definitely have left a marker there too.
Defeated, Sengoku slumped into his chair. There was no way to stop Uchiha Kitaro. The entire world might as well be his playground.
No wonder the sixth level of Impel Down, despite its impenetrable defenses, had failed to contain him. It must have been a shadow clone of Kitaro who left the marker there beforehand. That brat—just how deep did his plans run?
Sengoku, known as the "Strategist," suddenly felt like nothing more than a fool when compared to Uchiha Kitaro.
"What is his goal in capturing Shiki the Golden Lion? Does he plan to recruit him as a subordinate?" Sengoku asked, trying to shift focus.
Uchiha Security Company had already become a force even greater than the Four Emperors. Although Kitaro had released most of the Whitebeard Pirates' fleet, he retained 300 core members—essentially Whitebeard's main combat force.
This included Marco the Phoenix, Diamond Jozu, and Flower Swords Vista, all of whom now served as captains in the Uchiha Security Company.
According to intelligence reports, their strength had grown exponentially in the past six months under Kitaro's guidance. Marco's abilities, in particular, had reached a level comparable to a Navy Admiral.
The same reports suggested that each captain of the Uchiha Security Company could rival an Admiral. While that might be an exaggeration, it was clear that Kitaro's words weren't to be taken lightly.
Even excluding Kitaro himself, having five individuals at Admiral-level strength meant the Uchiha Security Company could already challenge the World Government head-on.
No wonder the World Government's attitude toward the company had shifted to one of avoidance—far more cautious than even with Whitebeard in the past.
If Shiki the Golden Lion were to join, their strength would grow even further. The World Government might find itself completely outmatched.
"Sorry, I don't know," Kitaro replied, shrugging again. "But one thing is certain—my brother never does anything without a reason. He's a staunch pragmatist."
"Many of the jutsus he knows were originally created by other villages' Kage. He just trades lives for techniques—if he takes a liking to a jutsu, he'll exchange the life of an enemy ninja to learn it."
"For example, flying techniques, the Lightning Chakra Mode…"
"Since they're enemies anyway, killing them is no big deal. But my brother prefers to make use of them. Why waste potential gains?"
"That's how he's mastered so many jutsus—through transactions like these. And thanks to his unparalleled talent, he's able to learn and master jutsus that most people couldn't even comprehend in a lifetime. In fact, he often surpasses the original creators of these techniques."
"And so, little by little, he's become what he is today," Kitaro concluded with a wry smile. "A force so strong that he's yet to face anyone capable of forcing him to fight seriously—even during the battle at Marineford."
"My brother Uchiha Kitaro is so amazing and talented that even his plans can't be understood"
The more Sengoku listened, the paler his face grew. Was Uchiha Kitaro truly this terrifying? Could it be that what they'd seen so far was only the tip of the iceberg?
With a weary wave of his hand, Sengoku dismissed his uchiha vice admiral, who nodded politely and left without another word.
---
Meanwhile, on a deserted island in the New World, Shiki the Golden Lion appeared.
As Shiki inhaled the fresh, salty air and took in the endless expanse of the sea, a wild grin spread across his face.
"GYAHAHAHAHA!! The world! Shiki the Golden Lion is back!!!" he roared, spreading his arms wide.
"Kid, you saved me. Name your price—whatever you want, as long as I can do it, it's yours," Shiki declared, his laughter still echoing.
Uchiha Kitaro smiled faintly. "I don't want much. My request is simple."
"Oh? What is it?" Shiki asked.
"Please die." Kitaro replied casually.
