Chapter 66: Head Over Mast
The day started like any other on the Thousand Sunny. The crew was busy with their usual routines—Sanji cooking in the galley, Zoro napping, Nami mapping, and Luffy snacking on whatever he could get his hands on. Kikidori, being the energetic and goofy Yonko he was, decided to climb the mast for a better view of the ocean.
"Oi, Kikidori, be careful up there!" Nami called out, not looking up from her maps.
"I'm fine! I'm a Yonko, remember?" Kikidori yelled back, waving his arms dramatically.
Raiko, sitting nearby, muttered under his breath, "Yonko of stupidity, maybe."
Suddenly, the sound of wood creaking filled the air, followed by a loud *crack!* Kikidori had lost his footing.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" he screamed as he plummeted down, hitting several ropes and the railing before landing on the deck with a sickening thud.
The crew rushed over to see him sprawled out, his eyes spinning. A small crack was visible in the wood where his head had hit.
"Was that the mast or his skull?" Franky asked, scratching his head.
"Definitely his skull," Robin said calmly, observing the way Kikidori groaned and coughed.
Chopper knelt beside him, inspecting the damage. "Yep, he's cracked his skull again. How does this keep happening?"
"I'm fine... I think..." Kikidori groaned, sitting up slowly.
"You're not fine! You need medical attention!" Chopper scolded, dragging Kikidori to the infirmary.
As Kikidori was carried off, Luffy tilted his head and laughed. "He's like a rubber ball! He just keeps bouncing back."
Ere'ana, watching the scene, sighed. "You're going to give me gray hair, Kikidori."
Raiko smirked. "More like a headache."
Despite the chaos, Kikidori was patched up by Chopper and back to his usual antics within the hour, a thick bandage wrapped around his head.
"I think I'll stay on the ground for a while," Kikidori said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Good idea," Zoro grunted, not looking up from his nap.
"Can someone tie him to the deck next time?" Nami suggested.
The entire crew burst into laughter as Kikidori pouted, promising himself he'd master mast climbing someday.
