Pokémon: Day Bringer

Chapter 34: Fiery Eruption

Chuck then pulled out his final Pokémon, as he looked at Ash. "This is my strongest Pokémon".

As then he sent out, as there standing was Gallade, ash pulled out his Pokémon.

Haru just looked at him. "He pulled out another region Pokémon".

Galled then moved and attack Croconaw, Croconaw tryed to use Cruch but then it was hit by a thunder punch, then a break brake and then phsyic been, Ash then told Croconaw to recover and then use Aqua jet, as Aqua Jet!, as then it hit Galled by then a Physic been made Croconaw hit the wall.

Chuck's Gallade stood confidently, its eyes gleaming with intensity. The battle had reached its peak, and both trainers knew this was the final showdown.

Ash gritted his teeth, watching Gallade move with lightning speed, executing a precise Thunder Punch. It connected with Croconaw before it could land its Crunch attack, sending the Water-type reeling back. Gallade wasn't done, though—Break Break followed immediately, knocking Croconaw to the ground with a crushing blow. As Croconaw struggled to regain its footing, Gallade used Psychic, lifting Croconaw into the air and slamming it back down, forcing the Water-type into a painful landing.

Ash called out urgently, "Croconaw, you need to hang in there! Use Recover!" Croconaw, showing its determination, took a deep breath and began to heal, the glowing energy surrounding it. But Chuck wasn't giving Ash a moment to breathe.

"Gallade, Psychic Beam!" Chuck commanded.

Gallade's eyes glowed, and with an intense burst of psychic energy, it sent a focused beam of light toward Croconaw. The attack hit with overwhelming force, sending Croconaw crashing into the wall of the battlefield. It struggled to rise, the fight clearly taking a toll on it.

"Croconaw, you've done well. Return!" Ash said, recalling his Pokémon. He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. The battle wasn't over yet. He had another Pokémon ready to go.

"Alright, Quilava! You're up!" Ash called, sending out his Fire-type Pokémon.

The battlefield felt charged with tension as Quilava stood, flames burning brightly on its body, ready to face Gallade. The two Pokémon locked eyes, both preparing for the final battle. Ash felt a surge of confidence, though he knew this would be no easy feat. Gallade's speed and power were formidable, but he trusted his Pokémon.

Haru, watching intently, muttered under his breath, "This is not going to be easy at all. Gallade's type advantage, plus its speed, is a real challenge. Quilava's got to stay sharp."

Ash nodded, fully aware of the stakes. "Quilava, let's start with Flame Wheel!" He called, hoping the Fire-type attack would hit hard enough to create an opening.

Quilava sprang forward in a wheel of blazing fire, aiming straight for Gallade. But Chuck's Gallade was too quick—it teleported out of the way with a graceful leap, its Psychic abilities giving it the edge.

"Gallade, use Leaf Blade!" Chuck commanded.

Gallade's arm morphed into a glowing blade of energy, and with lightning-fast precision, it swung at Quilava, the sharp energy slicing through the air. Quilava barely managed to dodge, but the edge of the blade grazed its side, leaving a deep cut.

"Quilava, hang in there!" Ash shouted. "Counter with Flamethrower!"

The air around Quilava heated up as it unleashed a stream of fire, aiming directly at Gallade. The attack hit, but Gallade, showing off its defensive prowess, blocked it with its Psychic, forming an invisible shield that deflected the flames.

Haru stood, tense. "If this keeps up, the battle could go either way. Ash's strategy will have to evolve—he needs something with more impact."

Ash, analyzing the situation, narrowed his eyes. "We need to turn the tables, Quilava. Time for Quick Attack into a Fire Blast! Aim high!"

Quilava darted forward, moving with incredible speed, using Quick Attack to close the gap between it and Gallade. As it reached Gallade's side, Quilava spun around and launched a massive Fire Blast, filling the battlefield with searing flames.

Gallade attempted to block the attack with its Psychic again, but the sheer power of the Fire Blast broke through, hitting Gallade square in the chest. It staggered back, smoke rising from its body as it struggled to remain standing.

Chuck frowned, realizing that the battle was no longer in his favor. "Gallade, use Close Combat!" he shouted, desperate to turn the tide.

Gallade charged forward, fists glowing with intense energy, aiming to strike Quilava with devastating punches and kicks. Quilava dodged the first few, but the speed and ferocity of Gallade's movements were overwhelming. It caught Quilava in mid-dodge, landing a powerful blow that sent Quilava stumbling back.

"Quilava, no!" Ash cried out, his heart racing. But Quilava wasn't down yet—it stood tall, flames blazing brighter than ever before.

Haru watched closely. "Ash... this is it. It's do or die now."

"Quilava!" Ash called, his voice filled with determination. "Let's end this! Use Eruption!"

Quilava, despite the pain, gathered all its strength and unleashed an Eruption, a massive blast of fire that surged forward with incredible intensity. The flames erupted from Quilava's body, swallowing Gallade in an inferno of heat.

Gallade attempted to block with its psychic powers, but the sheer magnitude of the Eruption overwhelmed it. With a final cry, Gallade collapsed, unable to continue the fight.

Galled then use a leaf blade as it hit Quilava, Quilava then use a point black flames thrower as then Galled was sent back but then he sent ith a Phsyic been hitting Quilava as Quilava was sent back, as Ash was ready to call back Quilava to sent out Pikachu but the it happend

The battle continued to intensify, and just as Ash was about to call back Quilava and send out Pikachu, something extraordinary happened.

Quilava, despite the damage it had taken, suddenly screamed out in an intense display of power. "Quilavaaaaa!" Its body erupted in flames like never before—fire swirling in a mix of black and purple, crackling with wild energy. The eruption was so fierce, it sent shockwaves through the battlefield, leaving everyone in awe.

Haru, sensing something was about to change, whispered to Casey, "And that is Blaze."

The transformation didn't stop there. In a moment that left everyone stunned, Quilava used a move that none of them had expected. It gathered an immense amount of dark energy, creating a Shadow Ball. With a swift motion, Quilava launched it at Gallade. The ghostly sphere hit Gallade with such force that it sent the Fighting-type Pokémon flying back, struggling to recover.

But the surprises didn't end with the Shadow Ball. As Quilava stood tall, glowing with an ethereal fire, something even more shocking occurred. A brilliant light surrounded Quilava as its body began to change. It evolved before their eyes, but this wasn't just any Typhlosion—it was something completely different.

As the light faded, standing in place of Quilava was a Hisuian Typhlosion. Its appearance was a striking contrast to the typical Typhlosion—its flames were now ghostly in nature, burning with a haunting mix of fire and eerie energy. The fur around its neck had transformed into a collar of fire, its body radiating a strange and powerful aura.

Haru stood frozen, his mind struggling to process what had just happened. "Oh my Arceus... it's Hisuian Typhlosion," he muttered, his voice filled with disbelief. The sight of this ancient and supposedly extinct Pokémon, one that should have only existed in the distant past, sent a shiver down his spine.

James, equally confused, turned to Haru. "Hisuian Typhlosion?"

Haru nodded, still in shock. "Hisuian Typhlosion... Hisui was the ancient name for Sinnoh. This Pokémon... it should have been extinct. But here it is... alive and well, and battling for Ash."

The sight of this rare and mysterious Pokémon from Haru's past life, a connection to an ancient region he never thought would resurface, was overwhelming. He felt like his brain had crashed, struggling to comprehend the enormity of the moment.

Ash, too, was in awe. He had never seen anything like this before. "Quilava... you evolved into Typhlosion?"

Hisuian Typhlosion stood proudly, flames burning brightly around its collar, its eyes glowing with newfound power. It was clear that this was no ordinary evolution—it was the manifestation of something ancient, something deep within Typhlosion's roots.

Chuck, who had been watching the battle unfold, raised an eyebrow in surprise. "This... is unexpected."

Haru couldn't help but stare at the Pokémon. His heart was racing, unsure of what this meant. Could this new form of Typhlosion change the course of the battle?

With a new surge of power coursing through it, Hisuian Typhlosion seemed ready for anything. Ash looked at his Pokémon with a newfound respect. "Alright, Typhlosion—let's show Gallade just what we can do!"

Haru could only watch in silence, his mind whirling with questions. How had this Pokémon, from his past life, come to be here? Could this be a sign of something greater, something even more connected to the fabric of this world than they could ever understand?

The battlefield was charged with an energy that no one had expected, and the entire stadium seemed to hold its breath. Hisuian Typhlosion stood in front of Gallade, its eerie, ghostly flames casting shadows over the arena. Its body pulsed with power, and the surrounding air shimmered as if the atmosphere itself was charged with the ancient energy of Hisui. It was clear this Pokémon was something entirely different—something ancient and incredibly powerful.

Ash stood, eyes wide, both amazed and proud of his Pokémon. "Alright, Typhlosion! Let's do this!"

Chuck, on the other hand, seemed taken aback, but his resolve remained firm. He wasn't about to back down. "Gallade, we've faced worse. Let's show him what we've got!"

The battle resumed with a flash of intensity.

Gallade immediately moved with blinding speed, rushing toward Typhlosion, its blade-like arms raised to strike. "Close Combat!" Chuck commanded, his voice filled with confidence.

But Typhlosion was different now. Its movements were swift and precise, its eyes locked on Gallade. As Gallade reached Typhlosion, the Hisuian Typhlosion seemed to blur for a moment, disappearing into a cloud of smoke, only to reappear behind Gallade, unscathed. It was the speed and agility of a Pokémon that had transcended its previous form.

"Shadow Ball!" Ash called out.

Without hesitation, Hisuian Typhlosion summoned the dark, ghostly energy once again. The Shadow Ball rocketed toward Gallade, who tried to dodge, but the attack was too quick. The Shadow Ball hit Gallade square in the chest, sending it tumbling backward. Gallade struggled to regain its footing, its psychic energy faltering slightly from the force of the hit.

Haru, still trying to piece together the events, whispered to Casey, "This is beyond just a regular evolution. Typhlosion has become something more. It's like it's tapping into an ancient power, something deeply connected to the past. Could this be tied to the very fabric of this region's history?"

Casey, equally entranced by the battle, nodded in agreement. "It's incredible... but it's also dangerous. Typhlosion is out of control, in a way. That kind of power—it could overwhelm Gallade if he's not careful."

Chuck wasn't going to give up so easily. "Gallade, use Psychic!" He commanded, his voice sharp and focused. Gallade's eyes glowed with a blue light, and a powerful psychic energy surrounded the Fighting-type Pokémon. Gallade tried to push the energy toward Typhlosion, aiming to control the situation, but Typhlosion was too powerful now. The energy didn't phase it in the same way it would have in the past.

Instead, Hisuian Typhlosion let out a low growl, its flames flickering like the spirits of the past. It focused its energy, calling on the Blaze ability. Flames wrapped around its body, glowing hotter, its eyes glowing with a fierce, determined light. It was ready to end this.

Ash clenched his fists. "Typhlosion, let's finish this! Use Infernal Blaze!"

With that command, Hisuian Typhlosion released a torrent of fiery energy, but this wasn't just any fire. The flames were tinged with a strange, ghostly aura, crackling with dark energy. Infernal Blaze swept across the battlefield, overwhelming Gallade in an instant. The Fighting-type Pokémon tried to defend itself with a barrier of psychic energy, but the sheer force of the attack shattered it. Gallade was sent flying back, slamming against the arena wall.

The smoke from the fiery explosion cleared, and Gallade struggled to stand, battered and exhausted. It was clear that this battle had taken its toll on both Pokémon.

Chuck, his voice full of admiration, called out to his Pokémon. "Gallade, you did your best. You fought hard."

Gallade, still standing but clearly winded, nodded before Chuck returned it to its Pokéball. "You did great, Gallade. Take a rest."

The crowd erupted in applause, and Ash looked at his Hisuian Typhlosion with pride. "We did it, Typhlosion!"

Haru finally stood up from the stands, still in disbelief, but a smile crept onto his face. "That was… amazing, Ash. I never thought I'd see something like that in a million years."

Chuck approached Ash, a proud smile on his face. "You've got a strong team, kid. That Hisuian Typhlosion is something else. You earned this victory."

Ash grinned, still trying to process the events. "Thanks, Chuck! But it's not just me—Typhlosion really pulled through."

Haru approached Ash and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You're growing, Ash. Your team's evolving... in more ways than one."

Haru glanced back at Hisuian Typhlosion, his mind racing. He couldn't shake the feeling that something bigger was at play—something beyond this battle, beyond Johto. Hisuian Typhlosion was an ancient mystery, one that had somehow found its way to Ash's team. It was clear that Ash and his Pokémon were no longer just contenders in the local leagues. They were part of something much larger.

The moment hung in the air, full of possibilities. Haru could feel that something had changed, and with the strange appearance of Hisuian Typhlosion, it seemed like the world of Pokémon had just grown even more mysterious and exciting than before.

Haru then ran to Ash and started to shake. "What the hell have you been feeding your Quilava".

Ash as being shaken, as he looked at Haru. "Is this how Typhlosion are ment to look like".

Haru yalled at him. "No, this is different you have an ancient Pokémon what is happening".

Ash just just looked at him. "What?".

He pulled out his Pokédex, as he check Typhlosion, as his eyes widents.

Haru stood, trembling with excitement and confusion, as Ash pulled out his Pokédex. The small device hummed to life as Ash scanned Hisuian Typhlosion, and the screen flickered with an entry that left them both stunned.

Pokédex Entry: Hisuian Typhlosion

Type: Fire/Ghost

Category: Haunted Pokémon

Height: 7'7"

Weight: 129.5 lbs.

Abilities: Flash Fire, Ghost Fire, Blaze

"Known as a protector of the Hisui region, this Typhlosion has adapted to an ancient, spiritual form. It is said that the flames on its back are connected to the souls of the past. This unique form was believed to be extinct, but it has resurfaced in the present day. Its ghostly flames are said to carry the power of the departed."

Ash stared at the screen in disbelief. "Wait... this Pokémon is—"

Haru cut him off, his voice almost frantic. "This is insane! How in the world did this come from a Quilava? Typhlosion's normal form is nothing like this. This is a Hisuian Typhlosion, and it was supposed to be gone forever! This isn't a regular evolution!"

Ash was still trying to process what he was seeing. "But... why would it evolve like this? Quilava was fine before—he was strong, but I didn't expect this."

Haru paced, trying to calm down, his mind racing with questions. "This isn't just an evolution, Ash. This is something... much deeper. Typhlosion is supposed to be a Fire-type, but Hisuian Typhlosion is Fire/Ghost. That's a huge change! Something's triggering this transformation, and I think we need to figure out what before something else happens."

Casey, who had been watching from the sidelines, stepped in, still in awe. "Could it be because of the ancient connection? Hisui... that place is like a distant memory from another world. Maybe that energy is resonating with Typhlosion in some way, bringing back something that was thought to be lost."

Ash finally shook himself out of his daze and looked back at Typhlosion, who stood proudly in front of him, flames flickering in the shape of dark, ethereal spirits. "I don't know, but Typhlosion feels more powerful than ever."

Haru looked at Ash with a serious expression. "This isn't just about power, Ash. You're not just dealing with a new form; you're dealing with something tied to a lost history. Typhlosion... Hisuian Typhlosion... it's not just a Pokémon. It's a key to something we don't fully understand yet."

Ash nodded slowly, still trying to understand the gravity of the situation. "So, what do we do now?"

Haru let out a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. "We need to figure out what triggered this change. The connection between Hisuian Typhlosion and ancient Sinnoh—there's something bigger going on here. I'm going to do some research. You need to be careful with Typhlosion. This could be the start of something huge, Ash."

Ash looked down at Hisuian Typhlosion, who locked eyes with him. The Pokémon seemed more than just his partner; it felt like something ancient and powerful had awakened within it. Ash could sense the power coursing through Typhlosion, but he also knew that they needed to understand it before it spiraled out of control.

"Alright, Typhlosion," Ash said with determination, "we'll figure this out together. Let's keep moving forward, one step at a time."

Haru gave Ash a look that was part concern, part curiosity. "Just be careful. This isn't just any regular battle anymore. You might be tapping into something far beyond the typical Pokémon journey."

With the weight of the unknown pressing on them, they headed off together, determined to uncover the mystery of Hisuian Typhlosion and the forces that were stirring in Johto, ready to face whatever came next.
