The children in the orphanage were thrilled watching Evan's Pidgeot Pokémon competition.

"This is simply awesome," one of them exclaimed.

"Look, it's even a Shiny!" Sophia added, clearly impressed.

"Evan is so lucky," another child sighed with admiration.

"It's amazing to see a Shiny Pidgeot Pokémon in action," someone said. "Shiny Pidgeot Pokémon are even rarer than pseudo-legendaries."

"They're the kind that money can't buy," another replied. "Even if you're willing to pay, you might never encounter one."

Shiny Pidgeot Pokémon have incredibly strong qualities. When a Pokémon is classified as 'Shiny Pidgeot,' it means that a certain trait has mutated, often causing them to appear in unique colors. In some cases, this makes them especially valuable due to their rare Attributes, which give them significant advantages.

...

Hearing Sophia's words, Evan chuckled.

"It's just luck," he replied. "That's the only reason I was able to catch it."

"When I first arrived at the Pidgey tribe, I saw this one fighting the leader Pidgeot," he continued. "So I gave it a command, and it actually decided to follow me."

At that, Pidgeot immediately looked away with a sharp chirp.

"Pidgeot!"

In its mind, it was clearly saying, *You definitely coerced and convinced me! Don't make it sound like I just followed you willingly!*

Sophia's eyes sparkled with even more admiration when she heard this. But soon, she turned back to business.

"Evan, I already contacted the construction team. They should arrive soon to start building everything you requested," she explained.

Evan nodded approvingly. "Thanks for handling that."

"I've also spoken to the leaders of the local Pokémon tribes," he added. "They'll cooperate fully. The construction team knows how to manage the setup, and the Pokémon won't cause any trouble. We'll let the professionals do their work."

The construction team's first task was to build some of the main buildings Evan needed, followed by slowly planting the berry trees. It would only take a few days to complete the necessary structures.

Over an hour later, the construction team arrived, accompanied by various equipment and a variety of Pokémon to assist in the work. Their arrival piqued the curiosity of nearby residents.

"What's going on over at the orphanage?" someone murmured.

Before long, everyone understood—the orphanage was being transformed into a breeding house. Evan had already taken charge of the entire hillside at the back of the property. The neighboring families couldn't help but talk about the changes, but Evan paid them no mind.

Sophia stayed with Evan for a while, helping to oversee things before she departed. As she left, she said to Evan, "Evan, if you have advanced energy cube recipes for sale, please consider us. We'd be willing to pay a fair price."

"When everything here is finished, I'll come over to congratulate you!" she added with a smile.

Evan nodded. "Sounds good. I'll put something together and let you know when it's ready."

Evan didn't mind sharing a few advanced formulas with her; it was a good way to return the favor.

Hearing this, Sophia's eyes lit up. "Thank you, Evan! I'll be looking forward to it." She hadn't expected him to agree so easily, but considering his senior breeder status, it made sense that he'd have plenty of recipes to share.

With that, she climbed onto Garchomp's back, signaling it to take off.

Evan got busy too, gathering several young girls to help collect fruits from the orchard in the back. He enlisted Pidgeot and Pikachu to help as well. Evan even crafted a special hanging basket for Pidgeot, allowing it to carry large loads of fruit back and forth.

"Can't reach that branch?" he said to Pikachu. "Then you're up! Show them your climbing skills!"

Pikachu, an expert at tree-climbing by now, scampered up and picked the fruits from the higher branches. After gathering a good amount, Evan began preparing new energy cubes, specifically designed to satisfy the appetites of the Beedrill in his care.

This time, Evan gathered all the aunts from the orphanage to teach them how to make energy cubes. He planned to leave the ongoing production in their capable hands, so these energy cubes could be offered to the wild Pokémon in the area. Naturally, Evan made sure to pay them for their work.

The aunts welcomed the extra responsibility, not only because it added to their income but also because it allowed them to learn more about the art of breeding. They were eager to support Evan, especially since many of them had known him since he was a child and could be trusted completely. Evan also made sure to offer generous wages to show his appreciation.

In just one day, they produced a large batch of energy cubes. Additionally, Evan crafted special batches for Pikachu and Pidgeot. That night, as Pikachu and Pidgeot enjoyed their custom-made energy cubes, they were absolutely thrilled.

The cubes for Pidgeot were premium quality, made with over a dozen ingredients, including Pinap, Wepear, Liechi, Salac, and Coba Berries, plus MooMoo Milk and Coconut Milk. Regularly eating these would enhance Pidgeot's speed and boost the power of its Flying-type moves—perfectly tailored to its needs.

As for Pikachu, Evan made energy cubes to enhance Electric-type moves, and he used Pikachu's favorite tomato flavor. He added plenty of cherry tomatoes, along with ingredients that would boost physical strength over time. Pikachu was delighted, savoring every bite. With all the activity in the orchard, they were already getting plenty of exercise, so Evan didn't push for extra training; the work itself was exercise enough.

By now, almost all the fruits from the orchard had been harvested and transformed into energy cubes. Evan realized that to continue production, he would need to buy more berries from outside sources until the orchard's next harvest, which would be at least a month or two away.

He considered trying to speed up the growth with the help of Grass-type Pokémon but quickly dismissed the idea—it would be too expensive to gather enough Grass-types to make a difference. Instead, he decided to rely on Sophia's family business for any necessary supplies. Her family specialized in making energy cubes, so if Evan needed materials, she could certainly help.

Of course, this meant Evan now owed her a substantial favor. It was time to seriously consider which advanced energy cube recipe he could offer her as a fair exchange.
