Evan looked at the freshly baked energy cubes with immense satisfaction.

The energy cubes designed for Garchomp were a lavender hue.

When they were just baked, they gave off a faint fluorescence—not from any strange additives, but because of the premium energy formula used. This glow signified success, disappearing only after the cubes cooled.

Evan removed the large trays from the oven and set them aside to cool before placing the next batch inside. The process required five more rounds of baking to complete a month's supply of top-tier energy cubes for Garchomp.

Turning to the little helpers who had been assisting him, Evan smiled warmly.

"Alright," he said. "You guys go take a break now. Leave the rest to me. Come back later and help me handle the other berries."

Hearing this, the little Pokémon nodded enthusiastically and scampered off. Evan couldn't help but chuckle at their energy.

"They're such obedient little ones," he thought. He was grateful for their help; without them, this task would have taken far longer. Shaking his head to refocus, Evan returned to his work, preparing the next batch of energy cubes.

The energy cubes for Sophia's Garchomp had already cooled. Once all the remaining cubes were baked, cooled, and packaged, Evan planned to head to the orphanage for dinner.

At lunchtime, the little Pokémon were gathered at the orphanage. Luna had already fed them, and everyone was now enjoying their meals.

After finishing his work, Evan joined them for a quick, simple meal. Just as he was about to leave and get back to work, Aunt Jenn called out to him:

"Evan, I've already made the arrangements," she said. "Isla will be back tomorrow. She's agreed."

Evan nodded in response but couldn't help feeling a little amused. "Isla, Isla," he thought. Aunt Jenn's habit of referring to both him and her daughter with the same name always left him a bit speechless.

He shook his head and decided not to dwell on it. Instead, he returned to his workshop to continue his work.

By this time, the energy cubes for Sophia's Garchomp had fully cooled. Evan carefully packed them into specially purchased boxes that resembled plastic lunch containers, ensuring they were ready for delivery.

The work wasn't over yet, but Evan felt a sense of accomplishment.

Each box of energy cubes was a single meal, with three boxes needed per day.

A total of over 90 boxes were carefully packed, meeting Sophia's Garchomp's monthly energy cube needs. The little Pokémon helped load these 90 boxes into three large containers. Once Sophia arrived, they would simply hand them over.

Evan labeled the boxes to indicate their purpose and usage instructions for Garchomp before setting them aside. Then, he turned his attention to crafting other energy cubes.

There were still six types of energy cubes to prepare—Metagross and Aggron being the next on the list. Evan worked tirelessly into the night, completing the energy cubes for these two Pokémon before finally taking a break.

By the next afternoon, he had successfully prepared the energy cubes for Aegislash and Duraludon. Just as he finished this batch, a cheerful voice called out from outside.

"Brother Evan!"

Startled, Evan turned toward the source of the voice. Standing there was a girl with long black hair, her face lit up with excitement.

"Isla?" Evan blinked in surprise before quickly recognizing her. She was Aunt Jenn's daughter.

"Brother Evan!" she said again, walking over enthusiastically. "I'm back!"

Evan gave a small smile as he greeted her. "It's been a while."

Although Isla's appearance wasn't particularly striking, she had an unmistakable charm—someone who gave off a warm and down-to-earth vibe.

The two chatted briefly before Isla began glancing around curiously. Spotting Evan's work, she leaned in with interest.

"Brother Evan, are you busy?" she asked, her curiosity evident. "Let me help too!"

She rolled up her sleeves, ready to dive in.

Evan chuckled but didn't turn down her offer. "No problem," he said. "Consider this practice for getting familiar with the process. I still have a few more energy cubes to make, so let's get started."

With that, Isla joined in, eagerly following Evan's instructions to process various berries. Her willingness to help added a lively energy to the workshop, making the task much more enjoyable.

Watching Isla's deft handling of the berries, Evan could tell this wasn't her first time doing such work. She clearly had experience, reinforcing her genuine skill as a breeder.

While she worked, Isla's curiosity got the better of her.

"Brother Evan, did you take an order?" she asked, glancing at the neatly packed boxes nearby. "Why are there so many energy cubes here?"

Evan didn't hesitate to explain. "Two wealthy clients ordered custom energy cubes for their Pokémon. What we're making now is part of their order. There are still three more types to finish. They'll be picking everything up tomorrow."

Isla's eyes widened. "I heard from my mom that your breeding house just opened," she said. "You're already getting orders like this?"

She stared at the materials in front of her, noting the precise methods Evan used to create the cubes. The process didn't resemble anything she had seen before. Even specialized Pokémon items were part of the mix.

"Are these… advanced energy cubes?" she wondered aloud, still trying to wrap her head around it.

Before she could ask further, Evan spoke again.

"These are top-tier energy cubes," he explained, his tone calm but confident. "They're specially tailored for specific Pokémon, which is why we've attracted this kind of business."

He gave her a small grin. "Alright, don't overthink it. Just focus on the work for now. I promise you'll be paid fairly. On top of that, I'll teach you how to create these energy cubes. By the time you're ready, passing the exam to become a senior breeder will be a breeze."

His assurance left no room for doubt. Having known Isla since childhood, Evan felt it was only right to support her growth. She was Aunt Jenn's daughter, after all, and someone he had once played with as a kid. Helping her gain experience and perhaps one day run her own breeding house felt like a natural next step.

Isla was stunned, though not for the reasons Evan expected.

"Brother Evan… are you a master breeder?" she asked incredulously, her eyes scanning him for answers.

Evan raised an eyebrow at her.

"You just graduated from college," she continued, bewildered. "How are you already a master breeder?"

She remembered struggling through her intermediate breeder exam, barely passing. Yet here Evan was, casually producing top-tier energy cubes like it was second nature.

"Did you secretly take the test and pass?" she wondered aloud, her disbelief evident.
