In the Pokémon Center of Gringey City, an exhausted Nurse Joy was in a frenzy!

"Who on earth was the idiot that wiped out the abandoned power plant! So many Pokémon need treatment; I'm going crazy!" While charging a Magnemite, Nurse Joy vented her frustrations.

"Cky~?′?▽?`?ノ" Chansey patted her encouragingly, trying to cheer her up.

"Ahem… Nurse Joy," Gary hesitated, having just returned from the power plant with a Poké Ball in hand.

"Speak!" Nurse Joy glared at him with red eyes.

"Uh… would you like some milk tea?" Gary stealthily returned the Poké Ball to his pocket and asked kindly.

"Hmm~ Yes, I'd like a coconut latte, no coconut, no sugar, double latte…" Nurse Joy and Chansey were busy running around, casually giving their orders.

"Oh… okay." Shaking his head, Gary walked over to the vending machine and bought two cans of hot coffee.

Seeing Nurse Joy busy saving other Pokémon, he placed the coffee on the counter and helplessly returned to the lounge.

"Phew~ Today has been quite an adventure~" Sitting on the floor by the bed, Gary sighed in relief.

On the bed lay an Elekid, perfectly still.

This little guy was one that Gary had rescued!

Before leaving the abandoned power plant, his appraisal eye had suddenly caught sight of it.

It wasn't the traditional purple Elite Four member or a golden champion; this kid's potential was a deep crimson color.

Elekid, originally dead, had accepted a trace of Zapdos's divine essence.

Hearing the system pop up with notifications made Gary's lips curl. "Where were you when I met Giovanni? And what about my gym reward from Celadon City? Are you an updated version or just lagging?"

"Ding! The reward has been automatically issued to your backpack. If you don't check your system backpack yourself and blame me—are those two holes under your eyebrows for venting frustration?"

"Hey! You're walking down a narrow path; those holes under my eyebrows are from your appraisal eye! If I'm venting frustration—it's also your fault!" Gary retorted logically.

"Ding… My bad…"

"Tch… Trying to compete with me~" Gary scoffed dismissively.

"Bzz…" The Elekid slowly opened its eyes on the bed.

Whether it was an illusion or not—Gary thought he saw golden currents flowing in its eyes!

"You're awake! How do you feel?" He clapped his hands and leaned closer with a friendly smile.

"Bzz~" The Elekid looked down at its wounds—they had already healed completely.

"That was close; I'm glad I found you." Gary smiled. "So how about joining me?"

"Bzz?" Instinctively wanting to refuse, it was stopped by Gary's hand pressing gently on its head.

Knowing how Elekid typically behaved—if it got angry it would be ready to unleash an electric attack!

Confidently using Viridian Power quietly flowing through him—he gently stroked Elekid's head.

"Bzz~〃￣￣〃）" A refreshing sensation seeped through its body from its head downwards; Elekid felt so good it almost collapsed…

Raising an eyebrow, Gary thought: This isn't just Viridian Power; this feels like catnip—so effective!

"At the abandoned power plant, all the other Magnemite and Magneton were rescued by Officer Jenny. They'll be adopted by new workers at the power plant and won't have to wander anymore. So you can stay here now; got it?" Knowing this little guy would worry about its former companions, he explained gently.

"Bzz~" Elekid nodded before breaking into a toothy grin.

Having lived a tumultuous life for so long—now having a new home felt pretty good!

"Well then, let's introduce you to our friends." With a slight smile, Gary took out more Poké Balls.

Eevee, Scizor, Golduck, Sneasel, and Arcanine—this was currently Gary's lineup.

Charizard had been sent back to Professor Oak's lab to learn flying techniques.

He specifically instructed his old Charizard that if this kid ever drank and drove again—it could hit him without holding back!

"Eevee~" Eevee leaped into Gary's arms excitedly and rubbed against him. It felt like its trainer looked even cooler today while giving off an irresistible vibe!

Arcanine's eyes sparkled as it stuck out its tongue while staring intently at Gary, drooling slightly in anticipation.

Sneasel wasn't trying to act cool today either; it leaned against Gary's back stretching out comfortably—this trainer was getting more irresistible by the minute!

Golduck curiously touched Elekid's arm, Zing… A jolt of electricity ran through Golduck causing it to shudder before touching again eagerly, "Golduck~" This tingling sensation felt oddly exhilarating!

Scizor looked curiously at Gary, wondering why there was such a delicious scent coming off him—surely he must have hidden snacks somewhere! Otherwise why would everyone else be so eager to please?

It must be said that the logic of foodies is indeed hard to comprehend sometimes…

Watching everyone eagerly nuzzle against him made Gary chuckle helplessly. Oh no—this is like bathing in catnip…

As he noticed Sneasel becoming increasingly enamored with him—he couldn't help but twitch his lips. "Ahem! Everyone calm down; this is our new friend—Elekid. Let's all say hello; we're family now!"

"Eevee~" Eevee raised its front paw as if acknowledging the newcomer formally.

Arcanine licked Elekid friendly-like while Elekid awkwardly waved back in response.

On another side—Golduck exchanged fist bumps with Elekid.

A flash of green light glimmered in Gary's eyes as Elekid's emotions appeared vividly within his mindscape.

"Tsk tsk—that's truly amazing! But does this ability have an off switch? Going around like this feels no different than being filled with sweet nectar…" Scratching his head puzzledly—he pulled out Giovanni's notebook curiously flipping through pages filled with intriguing information regarding Earth's profound mysteries…

"I wonder if Giovanni left any notes here." He opened up to "The Secrets of Earth."

The first line caught his eye:

"To become one with Earth's children—the power of Viridian must be harnessed to achieve Earth's might."

"So that's how it is…" He fell silent realizing why Giovanni had passed this notebook onto him—it was because he was no longer favored by Earth anymore…

Viridian Power is extraordinary power that requires daily practice for mastery over its use and control—

Rolling his eyes in frustration over vague instructions given earlier—he continued reading about breeding plans involving copper-iron-chromium-nickel mines along with coal and magma from deep within Earth…

"Well! How am I supposed to gather so many minerals?! This breeding method is utterly ridiculous!" Finally understanding Giovanni's perspective on things—it wasn't just about making money but rather about extravagant breeding techniques altogether!

"Forget it—I'll deal with that later. If all else fails—I can always ask Giovanni for help." He stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Or perhaps… work under-the-table?"

In the Viridian Gym within Giovanni's office—the man himself smirked while reviewing reports held tightly within his grasp.

"Professor Oak Gary—a genius scholar—a tactical mastermind—how interesting."

His secretary Matori continued reporting diligently: "Dr. Fuji is urging us again saying that Mewtwo cloning has reached critical stages requiring more Pokémon materials."

"Well then! Give him what he needs!" Giovanni leaned back comfortably in his boss chair crossing legs casually while maintaining sharp focus despite thick bandages wrapped around himself still recovering from previous encounters faced earlier today. "I crave power—the power of gods! Only with sufficient strength can ultimate wealth follow suit leading towards world domination!"

"Yes! Giovanni-sama!" Matori nodded affirmatively before turning swiftly away heading off diligently attending tasks assigned without hesitation whatsoever...
