Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Continuing on their journey, Mew and her friends decide to take a little break in front of a lake.

"This looks like a nice place to stop," Mew says.

Misty agrees, "Yeah."

"Uh huh," Brock replies.

"Sure," Tomo says,

And Jen says, "Okay."

Soon, Mew calls out her Pokemon, "Alright! Come on out, everybody!"

Brock does the same, "It's finally lunch time!"

So does Misty, "And it's time to play!"

So does Tomo and Jen, "Let's have some fun!"

Mew releases Totodile, Cyndaquill, Chikorita, Bulbasaur, Noctowl, Zo, Sprigatitio, and Azumarill. Plusle and Minun, and Lucario

Misty releases Staryu, Goldeen, Poliwhirl, Psyduck, Golduck, Snorunt, the two Sentret and Mareanie.

Brock calls out Onix, Godude, Pineco, Zubat, Vulpix, Winter the Alolan Vulpix, Cherubi, Rockruff, and Grookey.

Tomo calls out Kangaskhan, Sage, Blaze, Aqua, Blitzle, Girafarig, and Ruffet.

Jen calls out Zorua and Zoroark, Lucario and Riolu, Hatenna, Flora, and the two Wooper

Soon, everyone begins to eat, play in the water, and have fun.

"It's great to have a chance to enjoy a little rest and relaxation. Isn't it, guys?" Brock replies.

"Sure is," Misty says.

"And the Pokemon think it's pretty great, too," Mew says.

"I agree," Tomo replies.

Mugi: Especially for having a picnic. I brought plenty of snacks and tea!

As the Water Pokemon swim in the water, the other Pokemon are taking a drink from the lake. Some also do some training, and others take a nap as everyone else relaxes.

Suddenly, everyone hears something and looks up to see a large beam of light approaching before it and turns into a large net that ensnares all the Pokemon.

Mew calls out, "Guys! Stay calm!

And soon, the source of the net is revealed to be Team Rocket as their balloon rises up, and soon begins the motto. As usual.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble, it's our greatest plan yet!

James:

Make it double, all it took was a net!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

James:

James.

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

James:

Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight, FIIII-ght!

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

Then Jessie says, "You took an awful chance letting all of his Pokemon out at once!"

"But it was a wonderful chance for us!" James cheerfully says.

And Meowth says, "And now dat we got all ya Pokemon, we get the chance ta say goodbye!"

Soon, the three villains laugh.

Misty shouts, "You can't steal our Pokemon!

Mew angrily shouts, "You're not gonna get away with this!

"YES, WE WILL!" Team Rocket says, and mocks them as they stick their tongues out.

Suddenly, a blasting beam of energy strikes the balloon, causing the net to drop to the ground freeing the Pokemon, while Team Rocket lands the hard way, shocking everyone.

"Hey! Who shot us down?" Meowth asks.

Soon, a bunch of big bear Pokemon approach them and they don't look happy.

Brock says, "Guys! Those are Ursaring!"

"And they don't look friendly at the moment.

Soon, the Ursaring fires multiple Hyper Beam Attacks.

Meowth cries out, "THAT'S A HYPER BEAM!"

Mew and the others quickly call back their Pokemon, "Return, everybody!"

Once all the Pokemon are called back, the Ursaring charge, prompting Mew and her friends, and Team Rocket to run away.

Jessie screams, "Faster!"

The Ursaring continue chasing them into the forest, firing Hyper Beam all the way.

Sometime later, after the incident.

"Wow. That was a close one," Jen says.

"Yeah," Brock says.

"Luckily, we got all our Pokemon back safely into their Pokéballs," Mew says, and turns to her Pokemon, "You're okay, aren't you, Pikachu? Eevee?"

Pikachu and Eevee confirm they're okay.

Jen turns to Amaura and Snubbull, "What about you two?"

Snubbull and Amaura say that they're okay

Mew turns to Misty, "How are you doing over there, Misty? Tomo?"

However, instead of Misty or Tomo, it's Jessie that sees Mew and the others, shocking them entirely.

"What are you doing here?!" Jessie asks, shocked.

Meanwhile, James and Meowth are tired after the chase.

"For a second der, I tought we were history," Meowth says.

"But luckily, the three of us got away. Right, Jessie?" James says and turns to Jessie.

Instead of Jessie, he sees Misty and Tomo, along with Togpei, Pichu, Skwovet, and Meloetta.

Meowth cries out in shock, "Ahhh! She ain't Jessie! And neither are they!"

"No, and you two aren't Mew, Jen, and Brock!" Misty says in shock.

Back to Mew's group, Jessie, along with Mew and the others are ready to fight against each other.

"I may be outnumbered, but I'm not going to be outbattled!" Jessie says and calls out her Pokemon, "Go, Arbok!" and Arbok comes out.

Mew calls out, "Go, Pikachu!" and Pikachu leaps for battle.

But then, two Ursaring appear, prompting the group to run as the two bear Pokemon use Hyper Beam.

Meanwhile, with Misty's group…

"You can't beat me!" Misty says.

And Meowth says, "That's what you say, red, but despite the odds against us, we'll beat you easy! Get em!"

But again, two Ursarings show up, causing the group to run as they fire Hyper Beam.

Meanwhile, Mew and her group continue to run away.

"This forest is full of Ursaring, so we're gonna have to work together if we want to get out," Mew says.

"Yeah," Jen says.

"I agree," Brock says.

Even Jessie agrees, "Then let's hold the hostility and order a temporary truce."

And Wobbuffet says, "Wobbuffet!" (I agree!)

"I said truce, not surrender! Now get back to the barracks," Jessie says, and returns Wobbuffet to the Pokeball.

Mew brings out her Pokedex, "Let's see what Dexter has to say about the Ursaring."

Dexter says, "Ursaring, the Hibernate Pokemon. A Normal Type. The Ursaring has such a keen sense of smell that it can even find food that has been buried."

"I hope the food's the only thing that gets buried," Jen says.

"Me too," Jessie agrees.

Meanwhile, Misty and her group stop and are tired out.

"The Ursaring! They're after us!" James says.

"If we're gonna get out of this, I think we're gonna have to work together," Misty says.

James says, "Alright, but don't tell Jessie."

"Toge Toge Piiiii! (Okay. We won't tell her.) Togpei says.

"Pichu," (We promise.) Pichu says.

"Yeah. We won't tell," Tomo says.

Elsewhere, Mew and the others are searching for Misty and their group.

Mew calls out, "Misty!"

"Tomo!" Brock calls out.

Mew calls out, "Misty, can you hear me?!"

"Tomo, where are you?!" Brock calls out.

Pikachu calls out, "Pikachu Pi!" (Misty!)

"Amaura!" (Tomo!) Amaura calls out.

"I know you're worried about her and the others, too. But we'll keep looking till we find them!" Mew says.

Brock calls out, "Hey, you guys!"

"Eevee Eevee!" (Where are you?!) Eevee calls out.

"It's hard to believe, but they really seem to care about those other twerpy little pests," Meowth says to herself.

And says in thought, "I wonder if James and Meowth are as worried about me."

Meanwhile…

"There's only one person, Meowth, that I would never need to worry about, and that's Jessie," James says.

"Not even a little bit?" Misty asks.

"Jessie can get blasted by Blastoise, trampled by Tauros and zonked by Zubat and STILL come true just fine!" Meowth says.

"Jessie sounds like she's a tough cookie," Tomo says.

"True. If she's met up with those Ursaring, I'd worry about them, not her," James says.

Soon, they come to a three way split in the path.

Meowth points forward, "Let's go this way!"

James points left, "Let's go this way!"

And Misty points right, "Let's go this way!"

Tomo then says, "Uh, we're going to need to figure something else out."

"The kid's right," Meowth says, "There's only one way to decide something this important!"

Then the three count, "One! Two! Three!"

And all three come up with papers in a game of Rock Paper and Scissors.

"The odd finger wins! At last, somebody's gonna have to listen to me!" Meowth says in victory, shocking James and Misty.

And Meowth says, "Okay, maybe if we go straight, it'll lead us straight out of trouble. Come on!"

"If you're sure," Tomo says.

Soon, everyone follows the front path.

Later in the night with Mew's group…

"It's pretty hard to see," Mew says.

"I think we should stop here and set up camp for the night. We're never gonna find Misty and Tomo around in the dark, but if I start cooking, maybe she'll follow her nose and find us" Brock says.

"Good idea," Brock says.

Soon, Brock is cooking dinner with Mew's help while Jen the plates, bowls and utensils. Jessie's mouth is watering.

"Is it almost ready?" Jessie asks.

"This oughta do it," Brock says.

He stirs and takes a sample, "Well, I think that tastes pretty good!"

Jessie soon snatches the ladle, "Let me taste it."

Jessie gives the food a taste and is totally enchanted, "This is delicious! Do you all always eat food this delectable?"

"Yeah. Brock comes up with great food every day," Mew says.

"And makes food for the Pokemon too," Jen says.

"Guess you eat pretty well, too," Brock says.

In her thoughts, Jessie says in dismay, "If these kids only knew! Compared to us, they're living in the lap of luxury!"

Then remembers she and the boys eating noodles.

"Tasty noodles in hot water! Yum!" Meowth says.

James says in tears, "I think it's your best recipe ever, Jessie!"

Jessie says with tears, "Thank you!"

Back to her thoughts, Jessie says, "But I can't let these kids know the truth."

Then she says out loud, "Oh, you wouldn't believe some of the things we eat." and laughs.

Meanwhile, Misty's group comes to a stop.

"I knew we should've gone to the right. Now we're lost because we listened to you, Meowth!" Misty complains.

"I never shoulda said to go straight. I always have trouble going straight," Meowth says.

And James says, "I'm famished. Let's take a break and have a bite."

James brings out a crumpet and breaks it in half. He shares one half with Meowth. They both eat, but not satisfied.

": I wish that bite was more than one bite!" Meowth says.

"That wasn't enough to fill a cavity," James.

Soon, they turn to see Misty and Tomo bring out their lunches, which leave Meowth and James in shock.

"You don't have to share that sandwich with anybody?! That whole thing's just for you?" Meowth asks, shocked.

"Brock usually makes sandwiches like this for us every day," Brock says.

"And Mew also helps make food for the Pokemon, even picking some fruits and berries," Tomo adds.

Meowth and James are stunned.

Meowth says in thought, "We lay our lives on the line day in and day out for the boss and we have to scrounge around just to find something edible to fight ova! Whilst these kids skip around, picking up Pokemon, eating heroic sub-maritime sandwiches!"

"This one looks really tasty!" Misty says.

"Yeah," Tomo says.

The two soon notice James and Meowth stare at their sandwiches.

"We better give you two a taste," Mew says.

Misty and Tomo then break their sandwiches in half. Misty gives her half to James while Tomo gives his half to Meowth.

"Tanks a lot!" Meowth says.

"You're a peach," James says.

Soon, the two begin eating the sandwich, and are over the moon.

Meowth is in tears, "This is the best tasting thing that ever happened to me!"

So is James.

Soon, the clouds begin to block the moon.

"It's pitch black out here! We gotta find someplace to camp out. Just follow me!" Meowth says,

"Whatever you say, leader," James says.

"I like the sounds of that. Now, if we sleep out in the open, we're sure to get attacked by those Ursaring. So we oughta find someplace where we can…" Meowth says, and soon spots a have, "Hey! We can sleep inside that cave!"

"Are you sure about this Meowth?" Misty asks.

"Yeah. Someone might be living in there," Tomo says.

"Sure, just follow the leader, kids," Meowth says.

Soon, everyone enters the cave, but they suddenly rush out.

James cries out, "That cave was full of Ursaring! This is awful!"

"Don't run your mouth, Just run!" Misty cries out.

Back to Mew's group, the group finds themselves in a cave. Luckily, this one doesn't have any Ursaring or other Pokemon in there.

"It's good to have a nice place to sleep, I hope Misty and Tomo have one, too," Brock says.

Don't worry, guys. We'll get a good night's rest and start looking for Misty and Tomo first thing in the morning. Okay?" Mew says.

Pikachu and Eevee reply and snuggle with Mew to sleep

Watching them, Mew says in thought, "Even here in a cave they're all warm and comfortable and happy. We're used to sleeping on bus station benches and playground slides." and sighs.

Brock says, "Here." and offers her a blanket.

"Huh? Oh, thank you," Jessie says takes the blanket.

She tucks herself in and says to herself in thought, "What am I doing with my life? What happened to my dreams?"

Flashback:

When Jessie was a little girl, her teacher picked her up and asks, "So, little Jessie, what do you want to be when you're all grown up?"

"Well, lots of things," Jessie says, "Let's see. I wanna be a doctor, a famous actress, and a trainer."

"It sounds to me like you're going to have a very interesting career," The teacher says.

Jessie says in thought, "I had so many dreams then. But look at me now. Who am I? At least I'm finally warm."

Jessie then sneaks into her backpack and brings out her Pokemon Egg.

She then holds it in her arms and says, "And… at least I also have you.

Meanwhile, Misty, James, and Meowth are doing another game of Rock, Paper Scissors, "One! Two! Three!"

"The odd finger wins! I'm the leader again!" Meowth says.

"Well, you better do a better job this time, Meowth!" Misty says.

And James asks, "So, what do you think of my idea, leader?"

It shows that James has tied a rope down from the cliff side.

"Uh, we gotta climb down dere?" Meowth asks,

"If we can get away from the Ursaring up here, they won't be able to follow us down there," James says.

Misty looks down, "It seems a little dark and dangerous, doesn't it?"

"Yeah. And there might be other Pokemon down there," Tomo says.

But James says, "There's nothing to worry about. I'll go down first, then you all can follow right after Meowth." and begins climbing down.

"I don't like it, but if you'll go, I'll go," Misty says.

Soon, James reaches the bottom.

"Hey, we didn't make it all the way down, did we?"

"I knew this was a bad idea, Meowth!" Misty says.

"Now we can't climb up and it's too dark to see how far it is to climb down!" Tomo adds.

"Maybe they're right after all," James says.

"Yeah, let's climb back," Meowth says and pulls on the rope to climb up.

However, it falls, and wraps him up.

"Oh, great! Now we can't get back up and we have to spend the whole night here!" Misty says, upset.

Then Misty uses a stick to draw the line.

And Misty says, "Nobody crosses this line. One group stays on that side, the rest stay on mine."

"Hey, wait a second, kid!" Meowth calls out, "How come you got so much more room than we do?!"

Misty angrily says, "You don't need as much room as I do cause your brains are a lot smaller than mine!"

"Come on Misty. Fighting doesn't solve anything," Tomos ays.

"You're right. We'll figure out a way to get out of here tomorrow. Now good night,"Misty says.

And with that, Misty, Tomo, and their Pokemon begin falling asleep.

James sits down, "First we had one redhead bossing us around and now we have another one doing the same thing."

And Meowth says, "She won't be so bossy when she wakes up tomorrow and all her Pokemon are gone!"

"You mean we're going to steal them?" Meowth asks, happily.

"And we'll finally get some respect from Jessie," Meowth says.

James then asks, "But, Meowth, how will we make our getaway?"

Meowth looks down and remembers where they're at, "Oh. I forgot about dat."

Laying down, Jessie says in thought, "I can't stand this."

Jessie soon crawls to the group right for Pikachu and Eevee.

"Truce or no truce, I can't let this opportunity pass me by," Jessie says.

Suddenly, a glow catches her attention, making her turn around, "Huh?"

She looks to notice her egg is glowing.

"My… egg…" Jessie says, surprised.

Soon, it shows signs of cracking, "It's hatching."

Soon, Jessie's Pokemon bursts open and her new baby Pokemon is born. It's a small Pokémon that is shaped like an egg. It has a soft, smooth, light pink body. On top of its head is a curly outgrowth that resembles a ponytail, with a dark pink band around the base. The appearance of this curly growth of hair often. It has three round bumps on its forehead and two pink circles on its cheeks. There is a pouch around the lower half of its body. The pouch is red with a white stripe around the top.

The Pokemon happily says, "Happiny."

"Awww," Jessie softly says with a smile.

She crawls to her new little one, "You hatched. You finally hatched."

Jessie picks her up, "You're just the cutest."

Then wonders, "What Pokemon are you?"

Jessie has an idea and quickly takes Mew's Pokedex, only to borrow it.

"Lets see," Jessie says, and opens the Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Happiny, the Playhouse Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Chansey. A Normal Type. It carries a round, white rock in its belly pouch. If it gets along well with someone, it will sometimes give that person the rock."

Jessie puts the Pokedex away in Mew's bag, picks up her Happiny and lies down with her.

Jessie says, "Well then, I guess tomorrow I'll have to find a stone for you. I'll take good care of you, my sweet little Happiny."

"Happiny," Happiny says.

Soon, Jessie and her new Pokemon fall asleep.

The next day, after breakfast and Jessie introduces Happiny to them, the group continue their search for the others.

Mew calls out, "Misty!"

"Tomo!" Jen calls out.

"Where are you?!" Brock calls out.

Jessie yawns, "I'm still a bit sleepy."

Happiny yawns."

"And so are you, even after you ate," Jessie says, "Then again, babies usually eat and sleep."

Meanwhile, Misty and her group realize something,

"We're just a few feet from the bottom!" Misty says.

"If we had known that, we woudla taken your Pokemon last night," Meowth says.

Misty glares at them, "You were gonna take our Pokemon, were you?"

"Meowth, "I meant we was gonna take your Pokemon for a nice walk in the moonlight."

Then walks to Meloetta, "Especially this sweet Pokemon."

Soon, the three excluding Tomo, do another game of Rock Paper Scissors. "One! Two! Three!"

Result, Meowth says, "I win again! I win again!"

"Give someone else a chance," James says.

And Meowth says, "Just when I was starting to feel lucky again."

Meanwhile, the Ursaring attack Mew's group.

"Well, we may not be able to beat them all at once, but maybe we can handle them one at a time!" Mew says.

"Right!" Brock says.

"I agree," Jen says.

Mew calls out, "I choose you, Cyndaquil!"

Brock calls out, "Onix, I choose you!"

Jen does the same, "Donphan!"

Soon, all three Pokemon come out.

Brock calls the first attack, "Onix, use your Tackle attack!"

Onix attack with ease,

Then Mew says, "Cyndaquil, try your Flamethrower attack!"

Cyndaquil performs Flamethrower and blast Ursaring.

"Donphan, use Rollout!" Jen calls out.

Ursaring then uses Rollout and strikes at Ursaring.

Jessie says, "With so many well-trained Pokemon, it's no wonder why those kids are so confident when they go up against us. How pathetic are we?"

Soon, the angry Ursaring calls for backup. Seeing the trouble, Mew, Brock, and Jen call back their Pokemon.

Elsewhere, Misty and her group keep walking.

"I'm getting worried. I hope we find the others soon," Misty says.

"Me too," Tomo says.

Soon, an Ursaring attack.

"Well, team, now there's only one of them," Meowth says, What'll we do?

"We run away!" Misty cries out and runs off.

"Right!" James agrees.

"Hey! Not so fast! Wait for me!" Meowth says, following.

Meanwhile, Mew and her friends are being chased.

"Quit screaming and keep running!" Mew cries out.

Misty's group continues running from the Ursaring.

Soon, the group spots each other.

"It's Misty!" Mew says.

"And Tomo!" Misty says.

Soon, Misty spots, "It's Mew!"

"And Brock and Jen too!" Tomo says.

"What do we do now?" Misty asks.

"I don't know. Maybe we…" Mew says.

Soon, both groups spot a rope bridge.

"A rope bridge!" Brock says.

"It looks a little rickety," Jessie says.

"Maybe, but we don't have a choice," Mew says.

Meowth agrees, "Come on! Let's go!"

Soon, everyone charges towards the bridge, but soon finds the bridge is on the verge of collapsing. Soon, the angry Ursaring cut the rope holding the bridge, sending everyone across to the other side. Soon, the groups are hanging on.

"Don't, let go," Mew says.

"You're too heavy! I can't hold on!" James panics.

Misty panics, "Don't you even think about letting go!"

"Don't even think!" Jessie panics.

"That should be easy!" Meowth panics.

"Don't worry, I think I know what to do," Mew says and brings out her Pokeball. "Drowzee, I choose you!"

And let Drowzee out of the Pokeball.

Mew calls out, "Drowzee, use Psychic to lift us out."

Drowzee nods, "Drowzee," (Right away)

Drowzee uses Psychic to lift everyone up into the air and finally land on solid ground.

Relieved, everyone collapses to the ground.

"I thought we were through, but the Mew came through!" Meowth says

"Now our worries are over," Brock says.

"By the way, do we get back to our hero and villain roles now?" James asks.

Jessie sighs as she holds Happiny, "Actually, after all that running I'm popped."

"Me too. I don't think I can battle even if I wanted to," Meowth says.

Team Rocket then stands on the opposite side of Mew and the others.

Jessie says, "Team Rocket decides to call it a day. Even with the truce ended, we're too tired to battle."

"If you say so," Mew says.

Then tosses something to Jessie, "Here."

Jessie then catches what Mew tosses and it's a white stone.

Mew smiles and says, "For Happiny."

"Um thanks," Jessie says.

Then turns to Happiny and presents the stone, "What do you think?"

Happiny smiles, takes the stone and puts it in her pouch.

"I'm glad you like it," Jessie says.

Then turns to Mew and calls out, "Thank you for the stone, but don't expect any returns from me."

"If you say so," Mew says.

And with that, Team Rocket dashes off as they shout, "Team Rocket's dashing off again!"

"I'm not sure if those three would change," Misty says.

Mew turns to Misty, "You had us all worried. It's really good to have you and Tomo are back."

"Thanks a lot, Mew. Believe me, we're glad to be back. We missed you," Misty says.

"Yeah. But we're glad that we're all back together," Tomo says.

"Me too," Jen says.

"And begins to wonder, "But why were all the Ursaring kept attacking us in that forest?"

"You're right, I just don't understand it," Brock says, "Why did all those Ursaring keep attacking us no matter where we went?"

Soon, Mew notices a sign next to the bridge, "Hey guys, I think I found our answer."

"What does it say?" Tomo asks.

Mew walks to the sign, "'WARNING! It is currently the Ursaring mating season and they're using this area as their breeding grounds. Do not disturb them if it's the last thing you do, because if you do, it just may be.'"

Everyone is shocked to see what the sign says.

"That explains a lot," Mew says.

"We were at the Ursaring's breeding grounds," Tomo says.

"And that's why they attacked us," Jen says.

"I'm glad we made it out of there alive," Misty says.

"And in one piece," Brock says.

Well, Mew and her friends certainly WERE fortunate! They made it through the Ursaring breeding grounds, and, soon, they'll be off again, on their way again to Goldenrod City!

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are walking through the forest.

James looks at Happiny, "I have to admit, that Happiny looks very cute."

"It's cute as a tiny Meowth," Meowth says.

"I agree. I'm going to give her all the love," Jessie says and snuggles her.

Happiny happily says, "Happiny." (Mommy happy.) and gives Jessie a kiss.

Jessie blushes, but smiles and snuggles her new little one. Despite her being a bad guy, it shows that even Jessie has a soft side.
