Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Chapter 60: Chapter 60 - Galen City

And so, Rico, Jonathan, and their teams grabbed their belongings and moved upstairs to one of the air-conditioned, guest rooms in the second floor. Since there are no other people in that Pokémon Center, the guest rooms are vacant. They then closed the door, turned on the aircon, and closed the curtains so they could relax with peace. Shortly thereafter, Rico and Jonathan lay down on two beds and stretched their arms and legs with caution in exhaustion. Their Pokémon teams then lay down on the floor in mild exhaustion. They then all took a nap until 3 in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, at the same time, back at Labuyo Town, Shion was shocked to hear from Kale that Rico already acquired the second gym badge.

"What? Rico is here already?" Shion asked Kale.

"Yes, he and his older brother left just left this town yesterday," Kale answered back. "Anyhow, are you here for the gym badge?"

Looking at him seriously, Shion responded back, "Yes, I am."

And so, she and Kale had a gym battle so Shion would acquire the second gym badge.

Back at the Pokémon Center in the mountains, at exactly 3 in the afternoon, Rico and his group woke up, packed and grabbed their belongings, and left the Pokémon Center as Nurse Joy said goodbye to them.

They then all continued their trek through the mountains and towards Galen City, which was just 7 kilometers away from the Pokémon Center.

Later, at 6:45 p.m., they had arrived at Galen City, a small city located on the cliffsides of the Enrique Mountains overlooking the Sea of Galen. They looked at the city from above.

"Wow, Galen City," Rico commented in positive delight.

Riolu and Litleo then responded in positivity. Meanwhile, Absol, Starly, Prinplup, and Jonathan's Boldore are in their Poké Balls.

"Yes, this is Galen City, a historical city and the center for the annual Book Festival," Jonathan explained while looking at the view of the city.

"Man, I'm so excited to be here again," Rico replied back with enthusiasm.

He and his team then went up ahead of Jonathan and his team.

"Wait up, Rico," Jonathan said to him as he and Greninja tried to catch up with him and his team. "We have to find a hotel to stay in."

Not long after, all of them started searching for a hotel to stay. Along the way, they saw the colorful lights in the city's main urban districts. While at the city plaza, Rico used an app in his smartphone to find the best hotels in the city in low prices. Then, after much finding and searching, they finally found one, a hotel resort called White Flower Hotel and Resort, which was just a couple of blocks away from the main business district.

"This one is cheap," Rico said to Jonathan.

"Yeah, but their rooms are air-conditioned and big," Jonathan agreed with him.

Rico then scrolled up and saw the photos of the hotel and resort's amenities including a restaurant and two swimming pools, one for adults and one for kids.

"Oh, they do have swimming pools," Rico mentioned one of them.

"Okay, what is the price for a room for two?" Jonathan asked.

In response to that, Rico scrolled up once more and saw the prices of the rooms depending on the capacity of each room. He saw that the room for one only costed 50 Poké Dollars per night while the Family Suite for four to six costed 200-300 Poké Dollars per night. But, that hotel and resort does offered rooms for two for only 110 Poké Dollars per night.

"The cost of that room is only 110 Poké Dollars," Rico said to Jonathan.

"Okay, I think that's a good, decent price to take," Jonathan agreed with him.

"Okay! It's decided," Rico responded back. "Let's go there."

And so, he and his group grabbed their belongings and went to the White Flower Hotel and Resort on foot.
